It all began one winter evening, the beginning of it all. The vampyres, their existance starting after a failed 'cure' for all diseases. The first known sighting of a vampyre was in November, and in the middle of America. They thought they could contain the infection, but that is when they realized that the infected were no longer ordinary humans. They had increased strength, speed, senses. And with all of those came with a new kind of hunger; blood. Soon enough the vampyres numbers had multiplied, and soon the whole world was at war with them. My friends Andy, Jinxx, Sammi, Juliet, Kina, Jake, Ella, Lauren and CC we all fled, going into hiding. But it didn't last long. A vampyre came and attacked us all, infecting Jake, Jinxx, Sammi, Andy, and CC. He had drained Juliet, Lauren and Ella dry. But I escaped, running into the cold never to know if my friends were okay. It's been years since that encounter, I'm twenty-five now. I live amongst the rebelling humans, refusing to just become slaves to the vampyres.
