I had been selected for tonights hunting party, going outside of the city walls to scour the area for any resisting humans. Our orders were to bring them back alive, and not to severely hurt them. At the moment Jake, CC and I were binding up the humans that we had found in one of the rebellon's base. There were six of them, but according to the leader of the group a woman who was called Bandit there was actually six others. I found out the names of the one I had captured; Bandit, Batgirl, Scarecrow, Deviant, Beta, and Gandalf. They refused to give us their actual names, but I conviced them to give up the other members. A group of four had gone out to scavenge for food, which we captured and put with the rest. And then there were two others that had gone out for ammo and weapons. The other four we had captured were Rockstar, Dreamer, Rapunzel, and Tin Man. The two others went by Talon and Outlaw.
"Andy, the other two are trying to escape." Matt reported, making me sigh.
"Take Taylor and Justin and grab the others." I sighed, and Matt nodded yelling out for Taylor and Justin. Jake, CC and I loaded the humans into the carrying truck, locking the door and climbing into the front of the truck. We waited for Matt and the others to return, and grew worried when they didn't. Where were they?
"I'm going to look for the others. You two take the humans back to the city." CC nodded, and I jumped out of the truck. I sped off in the direction that Matt had taken, and saw Taylor laying on the ground. There was a bullet hole right inbetween her eyes, and a look of shock written on her face. Still going the same way I saw Justin laying dead on his back, a cluster of bulletholes in his chest.
"Matt!" I yelled out, and kept running. Just outside of town I saw a truck with its lights still on. Inside there was the distinct smell of humans, and blood was splattered on the door of the truck. Running forward I finally saw a figure in the road, and was relieved to see that it was Matt. He was out cold, a spike lodged in his throat and blood dripping from the wound.
"Dammit Matt!" I groaned, picking him up and using my vampyre speed to run back into town. I loaded him in my car, driving back to the city.

"A-Andy?" I heard Matt groan out, and I looked at him in the hospital bed. He had lost a lot of blood, and drained one of the humans dry to replenish his body. They had pulled the spike out of his throat and bandaged it up, but he was otherwise fine.
"Hey man, you look like shit." I grinned, hearing him laugh.
"What happened to Taylor and Justin?"
"They were both killed. Do you know who did it?" I asked, and saw his face pale even more.
"Andy... it was some red haired chick... and Ashley." Matt said, and I felt my stomach clench in anger.
"No, Ashley froze to death five years ago. There is now way he's alive." I denied, and saw Matt sigh.
"Ashley didn't die. He's the one who shot me."
