Andy
"What happened out there with Ashley?" I asked Jinxx as he went through the data files on our kind. He flashed from computer to computer, his eyebrows bunched together. If even he was confused, than I knew we were doomed.
"I can't really explain it Andy... It's almost like he went halfway through the change." His eyes widened and he gasped. "That's it!"
"What's it Jinxx?"
"Ashley was halfway through the transformation when he threw himself out the window, exposing himself to the sun. The sun must have halted the change, or reversed it. Or... this might also be an option... Ashley could have become a hybrid between the two species." My jaw dropped, and I remembered the panicked look in his eyes when he had woken back up.
"He's half human..." CC said quietly and Jinxx nodded.
"That's what I believe CC; his body must have gone through the physical changes. Ashley could be just as strong as us and fast as us, but he doesn't have the weaknesses that we have."
"Not allergic to silver, immune to the sun..." Jake mused and we all stood there in silence. I bit my lip and sighed, running my hand through my hair.
"We need to find him before the rebelling humans do. Otherwise he could be in danger." Jinxx finally said and I nodded. Ashley what have you done?

Ashley
I woke up in a holding cell, my head and throat throbbing. With a groan I pushed myself up onto my elbows, only to cry out in agony as pain radiated through my body. The events from yesterday came to the front of my mind, and I looked down at my hands. There was dark blood dried onto my skin, and down my chest. My hand went up to my neck, the skin still tender and raw. It throbbed there, and I could feel thick scabs already covering the wounds.
"Outlaw?" I heard a voice say quietly, and I jumped in shock. It was so loud; everything was so loud. I could hear the people talking in the next room quietly, the screams of a woman in pain, and the sound of a feather hitting the floor.
Everything was so crystal clear too, along with my other senses. What had happened to me? The door opened and I saw Brit Boy and Talon enter the room. Both looked wary as they stepped into the room. They kept close to the door, and I personally didn't blame them.
"Outlaw, can you tell us exactly what happened?" Talon asked and I looked down at my blood covered hands. And I went on to tell them what had happened.
"He bit me... I remember feeling like ice water had been injected into my veins. Everything after that was a blur... But I remember thinking that I wouldn't let myself become like them. Somehow I got past them and jumped out of a window. It was the seventh floor window that I had jumped out of." I said quietly, feeling my throat throb as I listened to their pulses. They both looked shocked, and Talon pulled out a small dagger and dragged it across her palm.
The smell of her blood clouded my senses, and I jumped back and pressed myself against the wall. My heart pounded in my ears, and I glared at her out of the corner of my eyes.
"It smells so good..." I whimpered, tempted to go over and lick away the crimson liquid pooling in her palm. "No you don't!" I growled at myself, resisting the urge. My skin heated up as I fought the battle inside of myself against this new part of me. The two sides fought harshly, threatening to rip me apart from the inside out. And I prayed to whatever god there was that I would be able to survive the battle raging inside of me.
