Thicker than Water

I felt Ashley's accusing glare focused on me, along with Talon's. Turning towards the two of them I saw Ashley pointing his crossbow at the body on the ground.
"Care to explain?" He hissed between his teeth, and I finally got a better look at the body. It was the woman called Bandit, and she had been his leader.
"I-"
"Guys, I know you're pissed Ash, but we need to keep moving. Where there is one, there is more." Jinxx cautioned and I flinched inwardly at the quick flash of ice blue in Ashley's eyes.
"Don't think this is over Andy." Ashley cast a mourning look at Bandit, Talon trying to hide the tears that had fallen. We all headed back to the car, me getting behind the wheel again and starting the engine up again. While we drove I kept a cautious eye on the horizon, watching for the faint tinges of color to hit it. Finally around six the sky began to turn a lighter shade of blue and I glanced in the rearview mirror at the guys.
"We need to pull over." I said and Jinxx nodded, pointing at an intact hotel that sat abandoned. We all grabbed our weapons before heading inside and scoping it out for werwulves. Ashley and I teamed up and began to search the uppermost floor, listening for movement. The sun was nearly fully up when we both agreed that the floor was clear and entered a room. It was completely untouched by the time that had passed, only a layer of dust covering everything. Ashley set his crossbow on the coffee table before crossing his arms over his chest and glaring at me.
"Explain fucker." He said and I sighed, pulling my guns out of their holsters and setting them on the table too.
"When we grabbed your quadrant we did take them to the vampyre city like I said. But... there are still some vampyres that are searching for a cure to vampyrism, and they believe that it is found in human blood. So I'm guessing that your leader was-"
"Experimented on? Are you fucking kidding me?" Ashley exclaimed and I winced, rubbing the back of my head sheepishly.
"Um... yeah..." He gave me a disbelieving glare before heading over to the windows. I ran after him, scared of what he would do. After grabbing his arm he froze and turned to look at me, giving me an exasperated look.
"Will you let me shut the curtains dumbass so you don't get burned alive?" Ashley snapped, his eyes flashing blue for a moment. I released his arm and watched as he drew the thick curtains close.
He turned around, jumping slightly when he noticed I was still standing right behind him. I was close enough that I could see his eyes better; for years I had thought they were just a plain brown, but now I can see that they were actually a chocolate brown with flecks of gold in them.
"Andy?" Ashley said my name quietly, a curious look on his face. A sudden urge hit me, making me cringe slightly and pull away. I know there was probably a hurt look on Ashley's face, but it didn't matter; I had just gotten him back, and I didn't want to scare him away again.
"I'm going to bed." I told him, walking over to the bed in the room.
"What's wrong Andy?" Ashley asked me and I shook my head.
"Nothing, just tired..."
"Bullshit, what's wrong?" He had followed me over, and I sighed. "Andy!" The urge hit me again and I whirled around and grabbed his shirt, tugging him closer to me. And then I leaned down, and kissed him.

Well, sorry about not updating. Lost internet again, and then when I did get it back, I find out the poll I set up for the character contest deleted itself (fucking Quotev). So, private message me (if you can do that) your character and I'll go through them. Oh and look, some Andley as promised! Even if it is another cliffhanger.
