Living the Dream

British gal, Krystal moved to CA, America; in the hopes of pursuing her career in the music industry with her band "Bleeding Unseen" She hates her daytime job; but it pays for her share in the apartment that herself and her 3 boys currently live. She comes so close to quitting, but a relationship between her and a fellow colleague, Myah (mi-ah) begins to bloom, making the bar tolerable. Little does Krystal know; Myah is a Purdy. That's right... Sister of Ashley fuckin' Purdy.

***Author's Note*** The header image used for my fanfic is a painting of Ashley done for me as a gift. While I was in hospital after being involved in a major arson attack, my best friend, Abigail (Who has inspired the character of Abi in the fic) painted her heart out, and she says to date, it is still her favourite painting she ever did. When I met the guys at the UK listening party for Black Veil Brides IV, Ashley signed the painting! A lot has happened since I've been inactive; including meeting and talking to the guys. I've had an operation on my back due to the the burns I got last year. I got to go to the UK listening party for the new album and at the end once everyone else had left I talked with them for quite some time. I thanked them for everything they have done for me. I told them all about the fire, and how if I hadn't seen my tattoo I have from Ash (Krystal's tattoo in the fanfic, is actually my tattoo I have), that I would have passed out inside the building, and I would have died. They quite literally saved my life.
I got upset about my voice, and the fact I can barely sing anymore (I have permanent vocal dysphonia because of the smoke inhalation and internal burns) and Andy held my hands really tight and told me that my voice was 'damn sexy' anyway, and then asked more about it; and I said how when I try to sing, my voice just disappears, I can get some really low notes out, but that's it. He was so happy and thrilled and told me that it's uncommon in women, but I am a baritone like him.
He then let the other guys chat to me while he went for a fag and they gave me cuddles and thanked me for being an inspiration for them; then when Andy came back, he pulled me away from CC and Jake, and dragged me over to Ash and told me that he thinks we should talk. Ash and I talked for near on 30 minutes and he was so understanding and supportive. I will never, ever forget that night. The things he told me I will forever hold close to me, but the part that makes me stronger and makes me fight the thoughts that sometimes I wish the fire had killed me because of all this pain and hurt, is this: he told me that the world wouldn't be the same and would have been a lot worse off if I had died. The world is a much brighter and happier place with me in it and he was very happy that I survived, and he kept thanking me for being such a strong inspiration to him.
To hear that from your idol is hands down the most encouraging and happiest thing ever.
He asked about my upcoming hospital appointments and I expressed how nervous I was for my surgery, he told me to ask them to play Black Veil Brides while they were operating so that they would be 'with me' when I had it done. So I did! I took my phone in with me and had earphones in.
I was also given a massive vinyl poster by the band that had been hung up outside the venue for the listening party, and all of the guys signed it! Carrying that through London and on the train home was hilarious to say the least.
