*Krystal’s POV*

“Christian fucking Mora! Give it back right this instant!”

“Neverrrrr! It’s mine! Mine mine allllll mine!” He skipped around my room in the hospital. I glared at him. “Not my fault you’re a short arse.” He laughed as he held my makeup bag way up above his head. I jumped for it and I couldn’t quite reach. I decided to be cunning, so I clambered up onto my bed and reached for it, but he moved away.

“Fuck you, CC!”

Ashley walked in. “I do hope you don’t fuck him coz’ you’re all mine!” He picked me up off of the bed and spun me round.

“So much for low profile, huh?” I joked to CC as Ashley put me down.

“Hey, it’s cool. You two don’t have to act all secretive around me, you know that.” CC winked.

“Oh, so in that case I can do this.” I walked up to Ashley; put my hands on his hips and tip toed as I kissed him, as if to make a statement.

“Fuck yes, you can do that whenever you want darlin”

“Oh shut up Ash, I was making a point” We all laughed. I turned back to CC. “Now can I pretty please have my makeup bag back?”

“The physical appearance of the please makes no difference.”

“Oh, quoting Despicable Me now are we?” I stroked my invisible beard and then put on Gru’s voice from the film. “Liiight bulb!” I tackled CC to the ground and snatched the makeup bag. “Thank you!” I said smugly as I walked into the little bathroom in the room and started to put some makeup on.

“Ow! You’re a bitch!” CC yelled after me.

“That’s wise coming from you!”

“I know right? I am the wise one.”

“You’re far from it honey!”

“Why do you have to be so mean to me?” CC really over exaggerated the fake hurt in his voice.

“You love me so shut up, you big wuss!” I applied a thin layer of foundation and pressed powder. I loved looking paler than I really was. I don’t know why, it’s just a personal preference thing. I can’t stand how red my cheeks are naturally. I pulled out my mascara and carefully applied it.

CC and Ash’s chuckles had trailed off and they had begun murmuring and whispering.

“What you guys talking about?” I called out to them as I brushed my hair.

“Nothing!” they both replied in unison.

“Just band stuff” Ash continued.

“What band stuff?” I questioned as I applied a thin line of liquid eye liner and filled in my eyelids with some black eye pencil.

“Uh- well... Ok. Krystal, I know you probably just want to get home and rest, but do you mind if we make a quick pit stop at Lava records on the way please? They want a meeting with us... Just want to discuss something about our new album.”

“Oh yeah. Wretched and Divine, right?”

“Yeah!”

“That’s cool, of course we can stop off. I’m feeling so much better anyway!”

“Ok, thank you!” Ash sounded so excited.

I pulled my duffel bag out from besides the toilet and inspected some of the clothes he had brought me from home. Uuuum. Oooh this one! I changed my underwear and then slipped into my black jeans, and Joker (Heath Ledger) shirt.

“Hurry up trouble! Ashley’s got a cab waiting.”

“Ok, almost done CC, calm down” I pulled on my purple Doc Martens and tied them up, chucked all my makeup and the clothes into the duffel bag, slung it on my arm and walked out of the bathroom. “Ok, I think I got everything now, let’s go!”

CC was texting on his phone, but he instantly turned round to face me as he slid his phone into his pocket.

“Wow!”
Wow? What does he mean, wow?
“I mean- You look nice.” he smiled at me. I blushed a little... I didn’t mean to, I just- I hadn’t had a compliment in a while. “You look... Reeally nice. It seems weird seeing you in your normal clothes.”

“Haha. Uh- thanks?”

“No need to thank me babycakes. Let’s go find Ash.”

CC snatched my duffel bag away from me, he insisted on carrying it for me – and then he slid his arm through mine and we skipped through the hallways towards the exit, linked arm in arm.

*Ashley’s POV*
1 new Message- Andy: Do you think the cover worked?

Ashley: Of course it did. She hasn’t got a clue!

Andy: Good. Man this is so exciting. They’re gunna get signed and then they're going to be famous ;)

Ashley: Goddamn. Can you imagine all the guys that are going to be after Krystal?

Andy: Dude, why do you care? You get all the girls you want. Unless it's only Krystal you want! ;)

Ashley: Will you stop with the teasing me!?

Andy: Look man, I can tell. You like the girl. Just ask her out for fucks sake! Before I get involved :P

Ashley: You wouldn’t dare!

Andy: Oh really?

Ashley: Fuck you! I will ask her when I’m ready to.

I was contemplating telling him right then that I had already asked Krystal, and that we were kind of together, but not publically. I hated hiding things from the guys. But Krystal isn’t ready to announce it yet, so I’ll just leave it.

1 new message - Andy: Wait- So you do like her? I KNEW IT!

Ashley: Huh?

Andy: You just said that you will ask her when you’re ready to. So you want to ask her! I knew you liked her. Happy for you dude. Just remember – Don’t hurt her. She’s family now. I will have to hurt you if you hurt her ;)

Ashley: I won’t hurt her Andy, I promise.

I was snapped back to the real world when I heard CC and Krystal laughing like a pair of idiots. I looked up to find CC skipping along with Krystal on his back.

“Haha! CC! Put me dowwwwn. I don’t need a piggy back!”

“Never!”

They got on so well, it was nice seeing CC have a best friend. He had us guys, but he’s never really had a friend away from us. I mean Andy has Matt, Jake has Jinxx (yeah I know they’re both in the band, but those two were best mates when they joined me and Andy)and I have - well...
Oh.
I guess I don’t really have someone like that away from the band... Well I do now, Krystal isn’t just my girl, she’s my best friend too.

“Hey hun.” Krystal had wriggled her way out of CC’s grasp and came and hugged me.

“Ok you; get in the cab. We got somewhere to be!”

“Right!”

All three of us piled into the cab and headed for Lava Records.
