Firstly I want to apologise for having not updated in way too long. I was caught up in a flat fire. Arson.. We were in the very top flat with no fire exit and two of us ended up falling 45ft approx out of the window.
We were both air lifted to London hospitals in helicopters and were critical and in 'life threatening' conditions for a while. I was sedated for 4 days because I basically couldn't live on my own without the machines breathing for me etc.
I suffered 4th degree burns to my back, throat, lungs and hand: and also suffered smaller less serious burns to my ears and under arm.
My back is still healing and my lungs and throat are still messed up, my voice was gone for a few months up till quite recently when I've been really forcing a croaky squeaky voice out.
For those of you that follow the link, I fell out of the window on the far left where the dark smoke is near the ladder.
Again, I am very sorry for not updating and I will try to soon :)
oh and out of curiosity, does anyone live near
or in Basingstoke in the UK? Been contemplating moving for quite some time now, and and asking my work about transferring :)
