dude, this site has basically no rules. can't you tell by the cray shit that gets posted? XD

@smutty pariah

werd, bruh, you can certainly speak for me on that account. i'd fucking shit my pants if someone id'd me as a fic writer in front of the Biersack. and are we going to have a whole chappy on smut or what? seems a bit excessive, but this is *you* we're talking about...

Yes, both you and Anathema paint the guys with such a loving, respectful brush, while trying to stay as true to their personalities as they have shared with us. That's what makes great fanfic, folks.

My goodness, you're way ahead of us! We haven't even gotten to the chapter on smut yet, haha!

Bridecest is indeed a controversial topic. I mostly find it just silly, but I admit I did read one (and only ONE) story that was absolutely fantastic that had both Andley and Cake, yet was still an absolutely incredible read. It was called 'The Dune Race/ ?The Children of Sands,' I believe, it's from 3 years ago or so, on this site.

I've watched live streams where someone brought up the whole Janxx thing to Jake, and he dealt with it gracefully, though he was not really amused. To me, the chief point is that stuff like that is a manner of personal fetish. It's rude to bring up rpf, in general, to the actual subject of fictionalization, in my opinion. However, to draw attention to 'slash' pairings (I'm old enough I actually think of Slash from G'n'R when I read that, ha!) is totally unacceptable. Especially when the person is so obviously uncomfortable with it.

For my part, I'm very pleased you like what I've written. I know I always try and be respectful of anyone I've fictionalized, and believe I can speak for ana as doing that as well, perhaps even more so than I have.

Also, and hopefully I'm not breaking any site etiquette rules here, these two lovely people have inspired me to get off my duff and work on that Jinxx fanfic thats been bumping around in my head for the past couple of months.
Rest assured, it *will* be smutty, it *will* be long, and it *will NOT* be slash.
:)

I am *very* new to this site, having joined just about a week or so ago. I would like to add something.
While Andy has stated he finds fanfic amusing, Ashley Purdy has explicitly tweeted he finds Andley annoying as hell. I have yet to see anything from the other members.
To my point: out of respect for Ashley's opinions, I will not read slash with any members of the band. PLEASE LABEL YOUR WORKS if slash will be involved, ok? If you don't want to give it away, then a nice "possible slash" warning in the summary will do.
