You butthole! You know I love your stuff! I'm WAY WAY WAY behind on reading anyone else's shit since starting my new job, though. It only gives me time to write 1-2 times a week, if that. I have to give that priority as I've gotten pretty cranky from not being able to write as often as I want to. But I wouldn't take getting no comments personally. Even when I was updating my shit 5 times a week, I'd get maybe 1 comment every 6-8 weeks from someone that wasn't a personal friend I've known for years, across 3 different platforms.

my arch-rival is right- i also get almost no comments on anything i write, so don't let it get to you. it's also pretty classic to have so few votes early on, that one a-hole sinks your rating a lot. shit, i have a story that's over 300 pages long, and it still only has, i dunno, less than 40 ratings, i think.

I was so hoping that Andy was going to talk her into telling the police the truth! Now they'll just have Davey's prints everywhere, obviously the prints of a child, and her apartment was full of ruined children's stuff. She is going to be in a world of shit in the next couple days. D:

I know that enough people absolutely hated my story, 'Action Figure,' that it will probably never have a rating of 10. So I know how you feel. Just let it wash over you like oil over water.
Ignore people that rate your story poorly. It's happened to me many times. It will go up the more often you update, and the more people who go ahead and read your story and then rate it. Right now, very, very few people are reading BVB fanfic, so don't expect a swift change. I also suggest not calling triggered people, unfair assholes or not, 'dicks,' because it makes you look insensitive to other readers.
If anything, possibly you could avoid the actual "r-word," both because it's massively triggering, and I don't think a boy of that kid's age would even know what that word meant, so the chick would probably have had to use different descriptors.
The plot thickens indeed! Go for it dude, bring that bitch down! Take that cunt to court! Be brave Davey/Nathan! Not that I want him to have broken bones, but if it's only been a month, he may still have radiographic evidence of abuse as well, especially if his bones weren't set properly after being broken. Juvenile bones heal very rapidly, and are generally fully healed by 8 weeks, but they might be healed in the wrong position, or have a non-healing fracture, if they're in too messed up of a position, though Davey/Nathan would likely be painful or have an obviously strange bump in the location. Poor guy. He might also have a crushing fracture to the physis, as a juvenile, that will damage his growth plate, and cause his long bones to grow unevenly, if he was thrown and landed on one of them. Those require surgery to fix.
