The main plot has 2 chapters to go (I think) but there’s a semi-lengthy epilogue that may not seem very necessary right now, but that will make a lot more sense after the prequel has been published.
Guess I gotta be careful about doling out the comments - don't wanna give you a heart attack, or I'll never find out what happens to my fave characters... ;)

Haha, you are so awesome! We're not sure what the fuck is up with my hands. We know something auto-immune is going on, but none of the specific blood/urine tests nor MRI gave a ton of answers. So my rheumatologist has upped my pain meds and referred me to a neurologist for the next step (probably an EMG). *shrug*
Again, email notification FTW! Just what I needed on this cold Turkey Day- some hot Andy action!!!
I hope your Doc can figure out how to help you soon- arthritis hurts like hell!

Oh man, that's rough! My mom's got a bit of a conundrum going on in her right hand that they can't seem to pinpoint, it's either carpal tunnel or some kind of arthritis or maybe a combination of the two. The way her hand just won't open up some days is finally slowing her down. It's so great you have a trusted specialist on your side! I sincerely hope that your diagnosis, treatment, and recovery come swiftly.

Thanks mate! At first they figured I had early rheumatoid arthritis, but now they’re not so sure. At least now I (finally) have a doctor (my rheumatologist) who is actively pursuing a diagnosis for me.

Good ol' American healthcare, eh? Been there my whole life, Godspeed and best of luck to you ma'am! If you need help paying for prescriptions, I used the GoodRx app and card when I was totally uncovered, I'm not sure if it'll help supplement insurance or not but I don't see why it wouldn't.

Aww, you're a sweetheart! Never fear- I am aggressively pursuing diagnosis and treatment. It's just turning out to be a real doozy, especially when it comes to getting my health insurance to pay for it. Luckily I am a stone cold bitch in my 30s- I'll eventually get answers.

Oh no! I sincerely hope for steadfast healing for you (and I'm not just saying that because I need more of your work in my life)! Hearing of others in pain always puts my auntly instincts into overdrive, but I'm sure you're doing all you can, so I'll restrain myself from giving unsolicited advice. Aww- glad you enjoyed! I generally never write chapters that long, but it didn't feel right to just randomly cut it in half (or thirds, heh).
