just draw more than one picture. one of CC mad, one of CC happy, etc. static stuff is easier, true. but if they didn't notice it right away, unless he's evolving, he can't really look that different anyways. ;)

Hmmm... Maybe related to an emotion? Like, with anger, he gets more____, with anxiety, more ____, know what I mean? I think something that could vary subtly would be neat. So that he's not totally lost to them. ;3
