Holy smokes! Never thought I'd have anyone say that about what I assumed was a rather bizarre, atypical fan fiction. Thank you! I will try and make a greater effort to stop falling asleep mid- chapter and deciding to post it anyway, then having to go back later and fix it. I look forward to checking yours out- but not tonight, I just spent hours examining a shipment of second chance shelter animals and I am pooped! :)
(1) I try my best to stay optimistic, but usually end up pessimistic. I've learned over the years not to expect much from anyone or any situation. Things get fucked up.
(2) My favorite fic is yours. I write two, and just got added as a coauthor to another. My first is Stitch These Wounds With Me Tonight, the second is Don't Mess With Ouija Boards. I haven't done anything on the third yet.

Fuck yes, I love it when people humor me and answer my questions! Especially right now- one of my special little patients just passed away and it is really crappy. Even though I know rationally I can't save them all, I will always try and do the best I fucking can. Fuck. :/ I lost a battle but wont stop fighting the never ending war. Not yet.
I am definitely an optimist, I always have hope it'll turn out better, no matter how awful it gets, but if it does turn out bad, I've always been really at going "well." and shrugging it off.
Except dates, because those are always so awkward and uncomfortable for me, and I think I would just rather hang out then subject myself to that torture.

I have written one fanfic and i'm currently writing another.
my first one is called - Immortal Spell
And my second one is - Love's Darkest Grace
My first official date was with my best friend Matt in like 98/99. It was the most awkward date ever. We definitely made better friends. I dated someone after him, turned out she used me to get to him, failed miserably. Karma was a bitch. Next boyfriend was awesome, until he decided he was gay. I was more of a hang out kind of person too. Dates were just a horrible label I associated with a doomed relationship.
BTW, I absolutely adore this story!

Somehow that's how I survived all my papers in high school and some of my college lol

heh-heh, thanks dude. i should totally be working on writing my senior paper, and instead i find i'm thinking about how a fictional character wants to discuss her past and mental health problems with a fictionalization of a real rock musician.
let's hope my advisor accepts whatever i submit to her on the first draft, or i will be so fucked! i'm supposed to graduate mid-june and i have to get that paper in! and get a job, then get licensed in the state i get a job in, etc. ugh. ;)

i feel you dude- that is a major hazard of my profession. about 1/3 of my classmates have picked up a pet during their humane society rotation, which i'm about to start (on monday), or prior to coming to vet school, at jobs they've had, often as pets relinquished by owners who couldn't afford to pay for treatment. i am a total sucker ;o)

I am tired of reading the same thing over and over. I understand falling asleep when writing. I tend to write later in the day, and wake up to a dead laptop. Thankfully I have auto save!
