The Girl With The Dragon's Blood

Tora's pov:
I woke up in a hospital room staring up at a white ceiling. As I woke up the pain in my left shoulder made me groan. "Jeezus fucking Christ. No more bullets for me. That shit hurts." I. Said to no one as I laughed. I managed to get into a sitting position and took in my surrounding. My mom wasn't here which wasn't surprising. With the amount of time I'd been in this hospital for something like this they knew me by name. I actually had a claim on the room they had me in now. My drawing decorated the walls from times I would get bored. The nurses had started leaving sketch pads in here just for that reason. Christi was laying on the couch asleep and I grinned. I loved that little girl. I yawned and pushed the nurses button. "What do you need hunny?" Asked a sweet voice that I recognized. "Hey Charlie. I'm awake and need pain meds. This shoulder of mines killing me and I really wanna get this show on the road and go home. Oh and can I get some food please?" I asked the older woman who had gotten used to taking care of me while I was here. She laughed. "Your usual? Pizza French fries and a coke coming up. I'll call Daniel and tell him your awake. " she said referring to my doctor. I thanked her and soon enough my doctor came in with a tray of food and a cup of pills. I waved and quickly took the pills washing them down with my coke. I took a bite of my pizza and practically moaned. I was absolutely starving. "So Danny. What's the diagnosis?" I asked the doctor nonchalantly. He explained how the bullet went through my shoulder and crack my collar bone. I was going to have to keep my shoulder immobilized for a month. I was nodding when Charlie knocked on the door. Behind her were Andy and the rest if the guys. "Sorry Hun. These boys say they know you. Can they come in?" She asked hesitantly. I rolled my eyes but nodded. They all filed in and by this point Christi was awake on the couch. I turned away from the boys and let the doctor finish explaining about coming back in a month to have my should reexamined. "We'll it's not the worst I've ever come in with." I said seriously. Christi and Danny nodded with smiles but the boys gasped audibly. "How the hell do you get worse than getting shot?" Andy asked incredulously. I laughed and after a minute of laughing my good hand reached out to grab my jaw. "Ow." I said still laughing. Ashley looked at me. "Yeah you can thank you little friend there for the jaw." He said with anger in his voice. I glared at him before opening my mouth and resituating my jaw with a saitisfyingly loud click that made Jake Cc and Jinxx shudder while Andy and Ashley winced. I looked at Christi and smiled. "I'm proud of you hunny. I know how scared you were but you still managed to save me. By the way. That's a nice right hook you got there. You been holding out on me. Oh yeah where are my brass knuckles?" I asked curiously. She stared heatedly at Andy and I turned to him with a raised eyebrow. "Did you really just thank her for punching you in the face?" He asked with confusion and surprise in his voice. "Yeah because trust me when I say that it would have ended in a lot more blood if I had been aloud to get angry." I said laughing at their shocked faces "But back to the question. Where are my brass knuckles?" I asked him. He just stared at me dumbfounded. The whole band did. "Sorry boys I guess your just not used to girls like me re you?" I asked before turning back to the doctor. "So where are my clothes and how long am I staying?" I asked him. He pointed at a duffel back in the corner that my mom brought for me and told me I would be staying for 3 days do to the mild concussion I received when my head hit the ground after I was knocked out. I nodded and waved to him as he left. I stood up and Jinxx and Jake looked at each other. "Umm shouldn't you stay in bed?" Jake asked calmly. I looked at him and smiled. "Naw. Stuff like this is a fairly common occurrence so I'm used to it darlin." I told him sweetly an pecked him on the cheek. "Thanks for worrying though." I said and walked past him and picked up my bag with my free hand and walked into my bathroom. I threw on some black skinny jeans and struggled into a black short sleeved motley crew t shirt. I looked in the mirror and sighed at the big white fluff ball that was my hair before struggling to pull it into a high ponytail. I walked out of the bathroom and crawled back into the bed. Christi crawled in next to me and I wrapped my free arm around her. The rest of the boys sat down all in varying stages of awkward silence. Finally I sighed. "So Purdy. That fanboy of yours. How'd the rest of that confrontation go?" I asked. The silence was broken and they told me about how after they got me into the ambulance they managed to get the guy in custody. "No offense but it was pretty ducking hilarious. When you left Ashley fucked the guy up. We had to pull him off the dude while trying to hold Andy back at the same time." Cc said laughing. Ashley punched him in the side grumbling for him to shut up. I laughed and soon we were slipping into easy conversation. Cc and I were making jokes at the others expense and Jake and I were sharing the last of my pizza. I was asking Jinxx question about Sammi Doll and Andy and I talked music. Ashley and I only managed polite small talk as I was still fairly cold to him and Christi was sleeping at my side. After things started getting quiet again Andy cleared his throat and asked the question I was dreading. "So Tora why does it seem like you practically live in this room and why'd you really have Christi knock you out last night?"

So in not really sure about this chapter. I kinda got writers block about halfway through. So I'm sorry if it sucks. I need at least one comment from this chapter or I won't write another one. Feedback is very welcome. I love all of you.
