The Girl With The Dragon's Blood

Everything seemed to happen in seconds.
1- The man fired the gun.
2- I shoved Ashley to the side without thinking.
3- The guards tackled the man.
4- Everybody started screaming.
5- Ashley started screaming my name while he got off the ground.
5 seconds. That's all it seemed to take and then everything sped back up into real time. Ashley jumped up and started yelling for someone to get help. I frowned not understanding why help was needed. Nobody got hurt right? I wondered. Suddenly my shell broke and I felt a pain in my shoulder that made me gasp. I looked down and saw a bullet would going strait through my collar bone right above my heart. Being that I was a few inches shorter than him it would have hit him directly in the heart. I ground my teeth together and realized I had fallen to my knees. People were surrounding me and trying to touch me. My anger sparked. My eyes widened and I started growling. "Get the hell away from me!!" I shrieked. The paramedics were saying something about needing to touch me and get me to a hospital but I just felt my rage grow. I looked around until I found Christi who was fighting through the crowd. When she finally got to me I pulled out my brass knuckles and shoved them into her hand. I used my good arm to grab her face and look we in the eyes. "You have to do it Christi. I know you don't want to an I know your scared but you have to do this. Just like I taught you. One blow right under the jaw. Remember to make it hurt. I'm sorry sissy I love you and I know you don't want to do this but it's the only way. Please don't let me hurt anyone." I pleaded. Tears fell from her eyes and I knew she was crying for the both of us. All this time I didn't cry. I ground my teeth together and looked at Christi. She slipped the knuckles on and clenched her fist. Andy noticed and so did Ashley but they were to far away to do anything. I looked over at Ashley who was trying to get to me and smirked. "That's some fucking fan club you got there Purdy." I said just before Christi's fist connected under my jaw and everything went black.
Christi's pov:
I clenched Tora's weapon in my hand and started crying. I had hoped I would never have to do this. I knew about her problem and her family history and she had always made me promise that if something like this happened that I would make sure to get to her before her temper got out of control. The only time I couldn't get to her in time she had put a girl in the icu for 2 months and permanently in a wheel chair. I clenched my hand and let the tears run freely down my face. I looked up and saw Ashley and Andy trying to get to me. They saw what I was going to do. I steeled my nerves and looked down at my best friend as she yelled at Ashley. "That's some fucking fan club you got there Purdy!" She yelled just as I swung. I caught her right under the jaw in the sweet spot. She was completely out. Bad ore I had time to do anything else I was tackled to the ground by Andy. He sat on top of me and ripped the weapon from my hands. I just sat there and let him. "What the hell is wrong with you?!?! Why the hell would you do something like that?!!" He screamed in my face. I just let my tears flow. "You wouldn't understand." I spat at him. And then Ashley arrived. And basically said the same thing. "Maybe if you didn't sleep around we wouldn't be in this fucking mess! She just jumped in front of a fucking bullet that would have murdered you dumb ass!" I screamed at him. The paramedics had gotten Tora on a stretcher and were loading her in the ambulance. I shoved through the boys and went to climb in the back before one of the medics stopped me. "I'm sorry miss are you family?" He asked. I looked at him "Yeah I'm her fucking sister. " I said angrily. He let me climb in the back an on our way to the hospital I called her mom and explained what happened. When we reached the hospital they took her in for emergency surgery and I sat out in the waiting room. "What the hell did you get me into now Tora?" I wondered silently
