Nonstop To Nowhere - Fallen Angel (Tome I)

6 pm. Skylar get out of her car and climbed the steps leading to the entrance of the Rouge Burlesque. She greeted her boss and passed a red door on which was written in white capital letter: « DO NOT ENTER, DANCING LODGES », which lead her directly to the cabaret backstage. Skylar as the good French she is, put a kiss on each cheek of her colleges and settled in front of her mirror.

She took out all her makeup and accessories, undressed herself, put on a red satin negligee on which her name was embroidered in black letter on the back and began to put on makeup. She then gathered her hair into a low bun that she wrappe in a net and slipped a square red wig with bangs that she take care to brush once in place.

Jenny arrived at that time with all her equipment and began to took pictures her friend while she dressed, retouched her makeup or when she stretched. She did the same with the other dancers. She also asked to do some group photos that could represent in the best ways the world of Cabaret.

- Girls get ready for "Polly Underground", you're on stage in 10 minutes. Announced Tess, the boss of the club.
- Ok Tess. Answered the girls.
- Jen' I let you go in the room, we met after the show. Skylar says taking her best friend in her arms for un big hug. Wish me good luck !
- You'll manage as usual, you're beautiful.
- Pff. Skylar replied, blowing loudly, hopping and shaking her hands to relieve the pressure. See you in 1h30.

It's not that Skylar was scared or was particularly stressed about going on stage. No. It was more adrenaline. You know this sudden grow of energy that is a mix of emotions such as joy, stress, the desire to give everything and much more and that in the end makes you give everything up once on stage.

The girls then all circled with their arms on the shoulders of their girlfriends and wished each other a good show while motivating themselves. The Rouge Burlesque was like every night for three good years now, jam-packed. It had become within three years, the show the most sees of all Miami. Most of the stars whether actresses, models, singers or even the dancing with the stars troop had come to see this show.

It's true that the Rouge Burlesque had managed to stand out from other Cabaret by offering both of naked choreographies in a nod to the Crazy Horse Paris, as purely burlesque dances, some skits on the part of contortionists, jugglers, or acrobats. In short, everything was done to captivate and entertain the public.

- Tess, I can't find my glowing shoes for "Good Girl"! Skylar yell panicked running around looking for her famous shoes.
- Sky stop screaming like that!
- Did you looked near the stage. Said Sean, the designer, coming backstage.
- No. Skylar replied running near the stage. Sean, you're a genius! Mick, I come on stage in 10 minutes for "Good Girl"! Announced the blonde girl so that he could prepare the next spot light.

The song "Good Girl" was beginning to be heard in the cabaret and Skylar appeared on stage. Tess created that number especially for her because she had such energy when she was dancing that it was impossible to take our eyes off of her. "Good Girl" was a number that was sexy, comical and very elegant. It was made for Skylar, and Tess had designed it especially for her. She didn't want to admit it, but Skylar was her real gem. It was partly because of this young French girl that the Rouge Burlesque had gained such notoriety. But Tess was too proud to thank Skylar.

1h30 of show later, Skylar and her colleges returned behind the scenes after greeting the audience with a thunderous applause. The young woman, undressed herself and removed her makeup as quickly as possible in order to be able to join her best friend and discuss the photos.

- Sky, you were awesome tonight! Jenny said, seeing her friend arrive.
- Really ? Yet, I was a bit out of tempo for "Diamond are girls best friends".
- You know, with my few dance knowledge, I saw nothing and I'm ready to bet that everyone in this room didn't notice anything.
- If you say so, I believe you. Come on, we go back to the apartment and watch the masterpieces you made.

The two friends left the Cabaret and climbed each in their car before committing to Coconut Grove to return home. Once back in the appartement and comfortably sit on their couch, Jenny removed the SD card from her camera and plugged it into her laptop. She began to scroll through the photos under the admiring gaze of her best friend.

- You're so talented Jen', it's amazing! You can make relived the moment as if we were there, it's magic!
- Thanks sweetie. Ah that one is my favorite ! Jenny pointed in the direction of the screen.
- Oh my god yes, I love it!

The two friends watched for a long time this photography. It was a photo that represented in a funny and sexy way the spirit of the Cabaret. On this one, the girls were in backstage. Skylar was in the center, a red wig on her head, a very sophisticated make-up that brought out her eyes, a flashy lipstick highlighting her slightly luscious lips, dressed in black and gold underwear, with a finger up looking at Cassie who was leaning on the shelf above the mirror in red flash underwear. On her right, Sheena wore a white wig and played with her brush.

- I think my boss will love this photo-shoot. Said Jenny laughing.
- You bet! He will see chicks in underwear, even naked, he would be wrong not to like it! Skylar laughs.
- Alright tomorrow you know we have your photoshoot at the dance studio.
- Yeah ... I have to admit that it makes me a little bit nervous, I don't really know what stuff I can do. Replied Skylar thoughtfully.
- You just have to warm up and all the tutti-quanti. You'll see it'll go well. Replied Jenny reassured her.
- You're right. Now we should go to bed otherwise we'll not be able to get up tomorrow morning.
- Talk for yourself ! Laughed Jenny.
