Nonstop To Nowhere - Fallen Angel (Tome I)

10:30 am. Jenny slowly opened the door of her best friend's room before throwing herself on her bed and jumping on it. Skylar woke up with a start and plunged her head under the pillow as she pulled up the comforter.

- Jen' it's been two mornings that you mess around, in my room to wake me up ... Are you getting revenge or what? Skylar asked with a sleepy voice.
- No, I just want to annoy you and it's works so I continue!
- Not cool...
- Get up now so we quickly go to the dance studio and I can start photographing you.
- Ok, ok, I'm coming, give me two minutes. Skylar replied yawning.

The young woman stretched her full length and got out of bed. She nearly bump the door of her room which cause laughter from Jenny. The two friends then quietly took their breakfast on the terrace talking about the organization of the photo shoot.

Once the two friends were ready, they headed towards the dance studio. Once there, they greeted Kristen, the owner. Jenny then entered one of the rooms while Skylar was changing herself in the locker room. Once in uniform, Skylar came out and walked in front of a door where auditions seemed to be taking place. A young girl who was supposed to be in high school stood in front of the door, playing with her hands, sign of nervousness. Skylar couldn't help but approach the latter.

- Hi, I'm Skylar, but can call me Sky.
- Amy. Replied the girl.
- Which dance company is auditioning?
- Wind Wood, one of the toughest and the best dance company. Said Amy.
- It brings back memories. Smiles Skylar. I also auditioned for this company and I was taken.Let me give you a little tips, when you'll be in front of the jury, don't hesitate to look at them in the eyes, it shows that you have confidence and they like that. Also, when you'll present your solo, dance as if your life depended on it, each step must be graceful and you have to put all the emotions that goes with your dance. You have to make it live. Creating such emotions that the jury can't take they eyes off you.
- Wow, thank you so much. Amy says smiling. Why did you leave, well, if I can ask?
- I wanted to go out on my own and discover new things.

Skylar smiled at Amy and waved at Jackie before entering the room where Jenny was waiting with all her gear.

- I met Jackie from Wind Wood and gave some advice to a young girl.
- I see. Well, I have everything installed then you can start when you want.

Skylar then began to warm up and started Linkin Park's "In the End" song and began to dance. She improvised over the song. She let herself be carried away by the words. Every emotion, every step, every smile was pictured by Jenny. At the same time, Amy came out of the room where her cousin was accompanied by two of his friends, whom she considered like her cousins too, were waiting for her. As soon as they saw her coming, they asked her many questions about how the audition goes and if she was accepted or not. The girl then did a Cheshire smile and told them that she was hired in the company while throwing herself into her cousin's arms.

- I have to go thank Sky. She then said removing herself from the embrace.

- A former dancer from Wind Wood who saw me panicked and who gave me some advice before auditioning. If I succeeded, it's also thanks to her. So, I wanted to thank her.

The young girl knocked on all the doors to find Skylar and it was at the end of the fourth one that she discovered her dancing on a song of one of her favorite bands. Intrigued to hear a metal band in a dance studio, Amy's cousin and his friends joined her. The latter was amazed by the grace, power and emotion that Skylar conveyed through her dance. Skylar had mixed hip-hop, street, contemporary, and classical steps in her dance.
