*Ashley's POV*

We had just finished our show and Jake asked me to check on Juni. He had to make a call and talk to someone. I walked to the bus to see a hole in the wall and blood droplets on the floor. The worst of it was in the bathroom.

"Juni." I whispered. The mirror was shattered and a shard of glass was covered in blood. I called Juni's phone praying she would answer.

"Juni. Where are you?" Why aren't you on the bus? Jake told me to get you since he needed to check something." A sniffle. shit. shit. shit.

"Juniper Pitts! Where the fuck are you?"

"I-I.." Damn it. I'm going to lose her if I don't hurry my ass up. I ran out of the bus and brought a flashlight.

"Park.. Lot.. Track.. Phone..Now.. Don't.. Tell.. Jake.. Love you all." Her phone fell and I yelled Juni. I grabbed a flashlight, turned it on, and pointed it to the ground when I got outside. Blood trail. It has to be Juni's. What the fuck do I do now? She said she's in a parking lot. But how the fuck can I track her phone if she's about to die. And on top of that she doesn't want me to tell Jake. Fucking hell! I followed the trail of blood to a parking lot by the bar we're supposed to go to. I saw Juni passed out on the ground in the far back. I picked her up and dialed 911.

"911 what's your emergency?"

"My friend she's dying please help!"

"Address please."

"I don't know I'm by this bar called Lucky Sevens."

"Stand by sir. Help is on the way."

"Please hurry she's going to bleed out." I took off my shirt and wrapped Juni's arms. But that's when I saw what she carved into her skin. Hate, Love, Death, Guilt, and Burden. Why would she do this?
the paramedics arrived quickly and took Juni.

"only family is allowed to go."

"Fuck that rule. I'm the only one she has right now. She's my best friend. I'm coming in whether you like it or not." I really hated when they told me that because obviously I'm the only one here and saved her. Those dumbasses. I hopped in and we rushed off to the hospital. Juni was sent to surgery and I sat in the waiting room. They gave me the same form to fill out. Well I know Juni, so I filled it out as best I could. My phone went off. It was CC.

"Dude, where are you? Why is the bus a mess? We have a meet and greet remember. And where the fuck is Juni? Jake won't leave me alone."

"Hospital. Ask Juni. And Hospital."

"WHAT THE FUCK? What do you mean Hospital?"

"Me and Juni are at the hospital you fucktard. Are you the only one on the bus?"

"Yes. But, Why?!!!??"

"Juniper." He sighed deeply.

"What the fuck am I suppose to tell Jake? That is sister is in the hospital again!!"

"Tell him Juni went for a walk and I went looking for her. I'll talk to Jake after. Just please don't tell the guys, girls, OR JAKE." CC sighed.

"Fine. But if Jake gets pissed it's all on you, brother."

"Well he should know that this is the second time I've saved his sister. But I'm not sure if I saved her life this time."

"What do you mean?" His voice softened.

"I'll explain later. After the meet and greet make the guys go straight to the bar with the girls and you sneak out of the bar and meet me here."

"Alright. This is the only time I'm sparing your ass." Just then the doctor came in.

"Mr. Purdy, I'm sorry to say this but Juniper is in a coma and may not recover this time. She got lucky last time. I'm giving her a week and a half to wake up. If she doesn't then I have to pull the plug. I am extremely sorry."

"what about the words?"

"Those will fade but will not permanently disappear. The word Death will not fade. Unless you're willing to sign her up for a new treatment. A laser surgery will remove the word from her skin."

"No thanks. She’s gone though too much. Not risking it."

"As you wish."

"Can I go see her?"

"yes. Room 269." I mentally laughed and went to her room. There she was wrapped in bandages and wires and tubes everywhere. Juni was just laying there. She looked just same as she did 5 years ago. I sat on her bed and grabbed her hands.
"Just for the record you owe me if you make it. Which you will. This is save number two. You're room number is 269. haha. Jake doesn't know yet but CC does. Jake is going to have my ass if you don't wake up. Please wake up Juni. I can't have a happy life without you. I'm going to miss you yelling at me for bringing home fake Barbie chicks. I'm going to miss our stupid fights. I hate to admit this, but I'm going to miss you calling me a dickhead and a fucking asshole. I love you Juniper. So please wake up. If you don’t wake the fuck up, I will find a way to drag your soul back to earth so you can fucking live." I heard someone walk into the room. I looked over and saw CC smiling.

"So you're really going to miss her calling you dickhead?"

"Well there's no point in asking since you obviously heard everything. So yes I will."

"Ash, don't worry. She made it last time. She'll do it again. She's strong."

"She got lucky last time. It wasn't as bad as this." I took the bandages off to show CC her arms.

"what the fuck?" I wrapped them back up.

"That's what I said. The doctor said the word Death won't fade. But the others will. They said she could undergo a new laser treatment surgery to permanently remove it but I said no. Not risking it."

"Is she sleeping?"

"She's in a coma. They're giving her a week and a half."

"Damn. Shit Jake's calling."

"Hello?" CC put the phone on speaker.

"Heyyy Chuppy" Clearly he was drunk.

"What's up Jake?"

"Where are yooooou?"

"taking a walk."

"byeee Chuppy. We're heading back to the bus." Jake hung up.

"fuck." I muttered.

"Fuck that get everyone here. Jake's too drunk to deal with the bus." I said.

"not until morning," CC made a point. "Thank god this was our last show."

"Jake's going to have my ass for sure."

"I'll get the guys. I'll be back. And take my shirt. Don't want some mother thinking you’re a pedo." I laughed and put CC's shirt on. Somehow, it fit me. Weird it fit me perfectly and it looked familiar. Fucking hell. CC stole my shirt.
This is not real. Please be a dream. Juni did not do this to herself. What's going to happen to Jake when he finds out? I just hope he doesn't yell at her and scare her away. This girl is my best friend. I really don't know if she'll make it this time.
I was lost in thought when someone put their hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Jinxx. He must've been the only one who didn't drink.

"Hey Ash. You okay?"

"Fine. How's Jake?"

"Still a bit confused. He doesn't know what's going on. Him and Andy are shit faced."

"The two closest people Juni loves are drunk out of their minds. And she might not even make it."

"CC told me about that. How'd you find her?"

"Went to the bus like Jake said to. It was trashed and blood was on the bus floor. I followed the trail and she was passed out behind the bar you guys were at. I called her when I saw the messy bus. She stuttered and then dropped her phone. Then CC called me when I was here. He saw the bus. How are the girls?"
"Sammi and Lauren aren't as bad as Jake and Andy but they know that we're at a hospital and that something happened to Juni. No crying yet though. CC is trying to calm Jake down before the doctors kick him out. Andy is half asleep on the floor. Lat I checked."

"I'll go check on them. Keep an eye on Juni please." I sighed deeply. Juni has to make it. It's just not possible for me to have an amazing day without her. And yes, Mr. Manwhore of the band has a soft spot. But Juni's like my little sister. Losing her would be horrible.

"I will. Ashley, I've never seen you this upset. She's going to make it. I promise you that. If I know anything about Juni, it's that she's a fighter and she's strong." I slightly smiled.

"Thanks, Jinxx." I walked out to the waiting room. What I saw was something I hope to never see again.

Sorry for not updating! i went to a party and just got home an hour ago. I'm trying to do daily updates. It's a work in progress. And i'm really sorry that i did that to Juni. I wrote it and i kept it. Please keep reading though because it will get better and more interesting! :)
