We hopped into the car and sped to the hospital. The whole ride there, my mind was racing. Why the hell would she do that? Her life is so good, she has so much to do. I was pulled out of my thoughts by a screeching. I looked up and saw some bastard flying past us like a bat out of Hell.
"In a hurry?" I muttered and turned back out the window. In less than two minutes, we were at the hospital. We jumped out of the car and ran into the ER. I immediately saw JJ, Michelle, Sydnee, and Zoey were waiting along with Ashley and CC.
"Is she gonna be okay?" I asked as I sat down next to JJ. She shrugged her shoulders and pulled out a note from her pocket. "This was in her jacket pocket... It's for you." I took it from her hand and unfolded it. It read:
Amthyiest,
I really didn't want to do this, but there was no other way to cope. I know I seemed happy, but inside, I was just a messed up wreck. Everyone was leaving me. My boyfriend, my parents, even you were slipping away. If I live, I will be out of your hair and JJ will take my place in the band. I won't be a bother, won't be in the way, I'll be gone. Hopefully forever. I just don't see hope in starting over someplace new. I thought this was the easiest way out from all the shit happening now. I'll see you when your time comes, but until then, this is goodbye. I'm very sorry things had to end this way, but there really was no other way.

I kept reading the note over and over, tears falling from my cheeks onto the paper. I crumpled it up and walked over to the trashcan, tossing it in. Why would she do that to me, or everyone? We are her best friends, we weren't slipping away, we were trying to become closer, but she wouldn't let us. Suddenly I felt myself being held tightly against someone's chest. I looked up and saw Andy.
"W-why would she d-do th-that?" I sobbed into his chest, soaking his shirt. He just pulled me tighter, kissing the top of my head lightly.
"Britney Lynch?" I turned around, still in Andy's arms, and faced a doctor.
"Th-that's us." I motioned to everyone with me.
"Well, I'm so very sorry to say that she had slipped into a coma while we were finishing up surgery. There is a very slim chance that she will wake up. You may go see her, if you would like." He said and led me to her room, me holding onto Andy's hand tightly. I walked in and saw her lifeless body on the bed, eyes closed, barely breathing. I must've been crying because Andy pulled me into his chest again.
"Shhh. Am, it'll be alright. She'll be fine." He mumbled those two sentences into my hair again and again. I guess I fell asleep, because I woke up sitting on Andy's lap in Britney's room. I looked up and saw Andy playing with a piece of my hair, twirling it around and around his finger, not noticing I had woken. Snuggling deeper into his chest, I began to sob again. Andy started to shush me again, and I noticed everyone else was talking amongst themselves. I didn't even have to look up, I just heard them.
"Andy, can you get me some coffee or something, I kind of thirsty." I asked, staring up into his baby blues, almost getting entranced. He just nodded and got up, placing me back in the chair, and walked out. I sighed and walked over to Brit's bed, taking her hand. I was silently praying that she would be okay, but a part of me knew that she wouldn't, that her attempt had been a sad success.

Hey guys. Sorry that this isn't an update, but I really had to tell you this. Don't expect a lot of updates, I just started school yesterday and already have a bunch of homework. I also have dance (Which I HATE) everyday except Sunday. Apparently I'm some great dancer that can pick up any type of dance just like that, *Snaps fingers for effect* I'm trying to balance homework, dance, and my writing for my stories. Sorry, but I'm gonna need time. Thanks for understanding, if you do, and I will keep trying to update a little more.
