Something Wicked This Way Comes

James Dean Look In Your Eyes

Elsie snuck downstairs, a tank top and high waisted shorts adorning her thin figure. The house was dead silent, probably since it was midnight and everyone was asleep.

She walked to the barn Andy and her planned to meet in with ease. Her breath caught in her throat as she saw Andy standing in a stream of the moonlight.

"I have to admit, I didn't think you would come." He said, smiling a bit.

"Why wouldn't I have?" She frowned.

"Geez, Els, I'm trying to make a joke." He chuckled, walking to her and brushing a stray piece of hair back from her face.

She turned away, "So where are we going?"

"You'll see." He grinned, taking holding of her hand. She let him lead her all the way down the block where he parked his truck.

She slipped inside of the old car and buckled her seatbelt. Andy took her hand again and drove off, a feeling of content resting in his stomach.

They were silent as he drove to a place that was his getaway. His hide out.

"The lake?" She said, furrowing her brow as he parked the car in front of the biggest lake in town. He nodded and slipped out of the car.

"I always come here at night. It's quiet." He said, taking her hand once more. They walked over to the dock by the lake and Elsie's breath caught as she saw how beautiful it looked at night.

The moon was casting a wonderful reflection on the water and a small breeze blew her hair. She couldn't help but feel drawn to look at Andy more than the beautiful sight.

He wore a cute backwards hat that had a Batman symbol on it and a cut up tank top that displayed most of his tattoos. He pulled her to the dock and took his shoes off before sitting on the edge. He let his toes graze the water and smiled as she did the same.

"You look gorgeous." He said, keeping his eyes on her instead of the beautiful scene in front of him.

"Thank you." She whispered, glancing at him. "What do you want to talk about?"

He went silent for a moment, his hand still holding tightly to her's. "I think I like you, Elsie."

"You can't." She scoffed, shaking her head.

"I can. And I do." He nodded. "You have to understand that I've thought you were beautiful for years and now that I've spoken to you.." He grinned. "I like you even more."

"You'll get fired." She whispered.

"I don't care." He said. "I'll find another job."

She clicked her jaw before looking at him. He touched her cheek and she leaned into his hand.

"If I kissed you, you would feel the same." He mumbled, scooting closer to her.

"Then do it." She swallowed, letting a breath out. He leaned and hovered over her mouth a bit while his eyes closed. "Andy-" He shoved his lips to her's, his tongue immediately moving into her mouth. She let her good arm trail around his neck and he pulled her closer.
It felt like the whole world had aligned. Like every single star was looking down at the couple as the wind blew there hair around and their mouths connected in the most passionate way either of them could muster.

Andy felt like nothing could ruin this moment. The way their noses bumped together and he could feel her breathing heavily.

Unfortunately, they had to pull for air but all Elsie wanted to do was grab behind his hair and force him back to her mouth.

"I-Uhm- wow.." Andy's voice cracked as he looked in her eyes.

"That was amazing.." She said, her toes still grazing the water.

"You bet." He tried to pull her closer but she lost her balance and fell into the warm water.
"Elsie!" Andy exclaimed as she laughed.

"It's okay, Andy, come on!" She grabbed his leg, watching as he took his hat off and phone out of his back pocket. He jumped in with her and immediately lifted her up in his arms.

They splashed and laughed, Elsie forgot about her arm and everything else as she just swam with Andy at midnight. She hadn't felt this happy in months.

They did this for an hour and a half, swimming and floating around, stealing quick kisses with each other. Andy was absolutely intoxicated with this girl and everything about her.
Just as he pulled her into their probably fiftieth kiss, she smirked up at him. "I have a feeling you're going to ruin my life."

"Why is that?" He smirked, his hair dripping wet.

"Because you're all I'm going to think about from here on out." She said, barely able to finish the sentence before his lips crashed down to her's. She stumbled back a bit at his force and let him dominate her mouth. He was incredible at kissing and since he was her first real kiss (the actual being in first grade) she just let him do what he wanted.

His hands roamed around her waist and she just clutched to the back of his neck with one hand. He pulled away and rested his forehead against hers.

"Stay with me.." He whispered.

"I will." She said, pecking him once more.

"Be mine." He said, louder now. "I want you more than anything."

"Andy.." She swallowed.

"We'll keep it a secret. We'll do things like this. I need you, Els. I think I'll go insane if I thought you could be someone else's." He said, shaking his head. She was dead silent. "Please, Elsie, say something." His face grew frantic and she pulled him into her chest.

"Hey, it's okay." She said, running her hands through his wet hair. He buried his face in her shoulder, the water swimming around them. She shrieked as she felt something brush against her foot.

"What's wrong!?" He laughed as she jumped into his arms.

"A fish!" She exclaimed. He giggled and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead.

"I'll protect you from the fish and anything else if you say yes." He said. "Hell! Even if you don't! I just want to be with you.."

She swallowed her nervousness down and gave him a small smile. "Alright, Andy. I'll be yours." She said, making him grin as huge as the moon itself. "But it's got to be a secret." He lifted her onto the dock and came in between her legs. He attached his lips to hers and she moaned softly into the kiss.

"I don't know if I can keep it a secret but I'll try." He chuckled as she pulled back and took his jaw in her hands. She just looked at his perfect face for at least a minute. Her thumb moved to trace over his mouth, under his eyes, over the bridge of his nose. He just closed his eyes at her soft touch and tilted his face into her thumb.

"You want me to stay with you all night?" She chuckled, her eyes crinkling in the corners.

"Mhm.." He said, pulling himself up on the dock. "God, my jeans are soaked."

"You were in the lake." She giggled as he leaned back and pulled her on his stomach.

"Yeah, thanks Ms. Obvious." He laughed, his voice gritty. His arms circled tightly around her waist and she cuddled into his wet chest.

"So let's talk." She said, propping her chin so she could look up at him.

"About what?" He smirked.

"You...and me, considering who asks a question first." She shrugged. He smiled, looking up at the sky.

"Okay. Full name?" He asked.

"Elsie Iris Rossin." She replied. "You?"

"Andrew Dennis Biersack." He said. "Birthday?"

"August 14th." She said, her head resting in his neck.

"December 26th." Andy chuckled. "Uh, favorite sibling?"

"My brother. Allison just.." Elsie shook her head, sticking her tongue out. "She gives me a bad headache." Andy laughed out loud at this.

"Me too." He rolled his eyes at the thought of her.

"What about you? Do you have siblings?" She asked.

He swallowed hard and turned away so she couldn't see the tears forming in his eyes.

"Andy?" She whispered as he stood up, leaving her on the ground. "What's wrong?"

"I-Uhm-I have a sister." He mumbled, wiping at his stupid eyes. Why did he have to cry? On their first night as a couple?

"Why are you crying?" She stood up, wrapping her thin arms around his neck. He covered his face with his hands and let out a long sigh.

"She has Leukemia." He whimpered, tears now pouring out. "And it's really bad.."

She hesitated for a moment, her eyes wide.

"Andy, I'm so sorry." She said, her mouth hanging open. He shook his head.

"Don't be." He whispered. "It's not your fault."

"But.." She swallowed. "I'm your girlfriend. I'm allowed to feel bad about this type of thing."

He smiled a bit at the word but the pain of being so close to losing his sister was too much, "I know, baby." He said, turning in her arms. She was so short and he had never noticed that before. She came up to his shoulders and he couldn't help but think it was the cutest thing he'd ever seen.

"Listen, I know you don't want to think about this, but if something..happens to her..I'll be here for you." She said, cupping his cheek. "You know that right?"

"Of course." He whispered. They were silent for another few moments as she softly stroked his cheek, he had been fighting the growing feelings in his stomach for her since the beginning of the summer and tonight he had let them all out. He had let her take him to a world of compassion and for that he was eternally grateful.

But what would happen tomorrow?

They couldn't conceivably stay all night. Tomorrow was the day of the party and Elsie got her now soggy cast off.

Would they be able to hold hands at the party? Of course not! But they could sure as hell try and that's what Andy intended to do. Elsie was just trying to figure out if she would let him in. If this was actually the best thing for her.

She knew that it felt that way but was he just going to drag her down? Was this the end of her family's trust? She didn't know.

But she also didn't care..

"I'll set the alarm on my phone for five and I'll take you back home then." Andy whispered. She nodded, pulling him over to the bed of his truck. He took the old sheet that he used to cover up the upholster of his shitty back seat with and spread it down in the bed of his truck.

They laid down on it, Andy spooning her from behind. He set his phone alarm and buried his face in her warm neck. His eyes stung from tears and he knew she was probably freezing.

"Are you cold?" He asked, feeling her shiver beneath him.

"Y-yeah a little." She said, honestly. He felt around behind him for his old leather jacket and placed it snugly around her shoulders. He placed a light kiss on her temple. "Night Andy." She mumbled, taking his hand and cuddling her back a bit more into his chest.

"Night Els.." He whispered, but she was already asleep. He spent most of that night watching her as she slept. She looked so peaceful and Andy was positive that he was in love.

@anathema
Awh, thank you! I'm definitely still here! I started school last week and it's my senior year so I haven't had a lot of time to post up a chapter. I've actually written about 37 chapters of this story already and ALL of the elements play a really important part in things that happen later on. So, there is a reason they didn't use a condom. There is a reason Haley sick. There is a reason Allison died and I'm really glad that you can see that ;)

I just came to beg you to update, and saw you had this really low rating- what on earth? Someone in particular must have not liked one element a lot. Don't let it get to you. I think your writing is superb. I know it irritates me every time I read a story where they don't use protection unless they specify the chick's on the pill and have a conversation, but frankly, this is fan fiction, and soi feel like it all depends on the context. In the case of this story, it fit the context pretty well and your writing is superior. If they did it continually without a rubber and then were surprised when she got pregnant, or if she gets pregnant just now, and they're surprised, I'd get irritated, but I don't think you'd write that, because you're a smart cookie. So people need to get over themselves. this story is awesome. Come back!
