Bonding time
I wake up and stretch like a cat. I hear the batman ringtone quietly chimming. I walk over and grab it. I see Andy's name and I swipe to answer the call. "Hello?" "Hey Taylor!" Juliet's voice rings in my ear. I blink a few times. "Hey Juliet." I say sitting back down on my bed. "We were wondering if you wanted to go on a bike ride?" I play with the idea for a second. "Who's we?" "Me, Andy, Ashley, CC, Jake, Jinx, and Falling in Reverse." I play with the idea some more. "Okay sure." She smiles and I hear her clap. "Great we will be at you apartment in about two hours." "Okay." She hangs up. I set my phone down on the bed. I blink a few times more and flop down on my bed with a heavy groan.
Melody walks in and sits next to me. "What's wrong?" I groan and she lies down on her back. Destiny walks in and lays next to me with her legs draped over mine. Tori and Eden follow and they lay down on the other half of my bed. "I just agreed to go bike riding with Juliet, Black Veil Brides, and Falling in Reverse. I hate bike riding!" Destiny laughs. "Then why did you agree?" I shrug. "Cause I didn't want to seem rude." I see her roll her eyes. "Okay you guys have to get out. I need to get ready." They all get up and leave. I get up and grab a black sports bra, black spandex, black sockets, and black and gold running shoes. I walk into my bathroom and strip. I climb into the shower.
Two hours later…
"Taylor! They're here!" My eyes widen and I quickly climb out of the now cold shower. I quickly transport into my clothes and quickly walk out. They stand in a group in the middle of the living room. Kellin holds little Mia on his shoulders and she tries to touch the ceiling. "Here let me see her." Andy says. Kellin hands Mia over and Andy sets her on his shoulders. She reaches and touches the ceiling. "Yay!" She screams and claps. We all laugh. I look at Andy. He'll make a great father one day. Juliet stands by me. "I think he will be a great father one day." I snap out of my developing daydream. He's engaged. To Juliet. She will have his kids. Not me. I nod. Andy sets Mia down and she hugs his leg then goes off and plays. He looks up and smiles. His smile slowly fades when his gaze rests on mine. I shake it off.
"Well come on let's go!" I nod and walk out first. I grab my bike from the chain and walk it down the stairs. We drive to the trails and take our bikes out. "Okay we have assigned buddies." Juliet says. "Andy your with me." Andy goes and stands by Juliet grasping her hand. "Ronnie your with Jacky, Ryan with Derek, Jinx with Jake, Ashley with Max, and Taylor your with CC." I nod. Everyone is with their partners. "Which way do you want to go?" CC asks. I shrug. "Right." He nods and we start down the trail.
We all meet up at the waterfall after about an hour or two. I lean my bike against a rock. I reach my arms above my head and breathe. I haven't done a bike ride like that in forever. I grab my water bottle from my backpack and take a few sips. "I dare you to go cliff diving." CC says pointing to the cliff. I walk over and look down. "Hell no! Nothing but rocks are under there!" He shrugs. "But your a witch you could come back right?" I shake my head. "That's some dark shit right there. You have to sacrifice someone you love to bring you back. And to bring someone back, you have to sacrifice yourself to the Devil." I mumble the last part. "Ah darling looks like your talking about me again." I whip my head up to see Lucifer's sickening grin.
He traces his finger across my cheek bone. "How have you been cupcake?" I feel my throat constrict. I then feel his burning cold hand wrapped across my neck and my back hitting a tree. I struggle for air as he tightens his grip. I claw at his hands and kick his legs. He only smiles. "Let her go." He looks over at Andy and his band with F.I.R. standing behind him. He laughs and with a flick of his finger sends us to the inbetween world. He lets go of me and I fall to the floor coughing. I glare up at him. He crouches down to my level. "Oh princess I missed you. I've been waiting for you to say my name for years. Now my horrific name has finally let those beautiful full lips of yours." He says tracing my lips. I move my head and he laughs. "Still as stubborn as I remeber." I glare and stand. "What do you want?" He chuckles and gives me that sickening grin.
"I want you back." I shake my head. "Hell no." He smiles. "Fine. I'll make you a deal. Make Andy madly in love with you before the summer's over- no before the wedding and You'll never hear from me again. I'll leave you and everyone you love alone." "But?" He smiles and twists my hair around his finger, turning it hot pink. It look dark pink because of the purple swirls that fill the world. "But if you don't, your mine for all internity. Deal?" He asks, sticking out his hand. I swallow. "Deal." I say shaking his hand. I feel a burn on the back of my hand. The words 'A deal's a deal' are written in lovely red ink. "The tattoo will go away once the deal is fulfilled. If not, you will have to look at it forever." I nod and I see my name in changing color ink on his forefinger. I rip my hand from his. "One last thing Taylor?" I look him in the eyes. He kisses me and I find myself standing in front of everyone again.
They all look at me and Andy hugs me. "Your back!" He says. He pulls away looking like he's about to kiss me but then remembers his place and pulls away. I feel a little disappointed that he didn't but I'm glad I now know he cares. I watch him for the rest of the bike ride and I can feel him watching me.
