That's a hard question. No he did not just carry the ring around. And since they practically been to hell and back, he wasn't just going to let her walk away so easily. Also the fight was about if Andy was cheating because he was spending a lot of time away, he would come home late, have secret phone calls, and Taylor suspected the worst and accused him of cheating and they started fighting.
