You Were Always Mine

It was 3 days after Jinxx had vanished. The boys had agreed to stay in Paris until they found him. The French police had gotten to work after the prescribed 48 hour wait to check he was actually missing and not just out on a one-night stand.
Emotions were running high.
Jake had pretty much recoiled in on himself, barely speaking.
CC tried to hide behind his humour, although it mostly just annoyed people, and tried to coax Jake from his stupor to no avail.
Andy buried himself in work. Ashley could hear him singing new lyrics throughout the whole night. He took over all the press coverage, liazed with the police. He didn't have time to be sad or grieve, because Jinxx was out there, and he was going to do all he could to find him. Until then, progress wouldn't stop.

Ashley took to drowning his sadness in drink.
"Jack Daniels, make it a double." he told the bartender who had been serving him for the last three hours.
"Drowning your sadness won't help you or your friend, Ashley. You spend almost all day in my bar yesterday, and come here early to start again today." he spoke with a heavy accent.
"I know, Daved. I just don't know what to do." He grumbled.
"Ashley, you're in Paris! See Paris!" He smiled.
"You sound like one of those pathetic tour brochures." Ashley laughed, genuinely for the first time in days.
"What if you had a tour guide?"
"I don't know, I don't even think I can stand." He admitted.
"I can fix that!" Daved said, grabbing a blender and some weird green vegetables.
"What?" Ashley frowned.
"My miracle metabolism booster! You will be sober in a few hours, although you will need to pee a lot." Daved shrugged.
Whilst the vegetables were mixing, Daved handed Ashley a glass of cloudy water. "Go to the bathroom and drink it all."
"What? Why?" Ashley groaned. The blender was loud.
"It's going to make you throw up all the alcohol not in your blood so no more enters. Then you drink this from the blender and as much water as you can. It's horrible, but it's nicer than being drunk."
With protest, Ashley did as he was told.

He wandered back down the stairs to find a beautiful girl in his seat. She turned to him. "Hello, Ashley. I'm Genieve, and my brother has asked me to take you around Paris." she smiled.
"Ugh, sure." Ashley grumbled. He didn't feel any better.
Daved served up the greenish concoction and Ashley downed it with a shrug. It couldn't make him feel any worse.
Then on to the water. He got through 5 pints before he felt sick again.

Daved was right. Within about two hours, he was sober enough to stand.
"Come on, let's go explore my city!" Genieve smiled. She was gorgeous. Not Ashley's usual blonde and tan girl. She was too pretty for that. Her flaming hair fell in gentle curls around her snowy skin and her eyes gleamed like emerald lights winking in the bitter dark. She was astounding. A force of nature in her own right. Destructive yet nurturing. Harsh yet caring. She was amazing. And Ashley liked it.
"Lead the way."

The small steel door opened. Jinxx sat up, expecting Genieve with food. Instead it was the boy, Daved. Genieve's brother.
"Hello, Jeremy." He smiled.
"Hi." Jinxx answered, curious.
"Come with me." Daved said, winding a blindfold around Jinxx's eyes. He didn't fight, there was no need to. Aside from kidnapping him and starving him for a few days, they'd been kind. Fighting them may well make his situation worse.
He was led through a series of small, twisting corridors and into another room. The blindfold came off. The room was tiny. Chains and cuffs were bolted to the walls and soundproof boards had been haistly nailed up.
He was pushed against a wall and his arms were yanked above his head and shackled at the wrist. Again, he didn't fight.
"Let's have some fun." Daved smirked, removing a small knife from a bag.
The soundproof boards absorbed the shrieks. Nothing was heard outside that room.
