This is it
Landed. Finally! I mean sitting on a plane for like hours is exhausting, when CC and Sleeping With Sirens and Asking Alexandria are also on the plane. It is physically exhausting. I was so done being the only girl amongst so many guys… They only talk about girls, girls, and more girls.
“Welcome home!” CC yelled propping me up onto his shoulders.
“Oh how I miss none of this!” I responded.
“What could be wrong with a small town?” Jesse asked.
“Everything…” I answered. They all laughed.
“Well let’s get moving!” Gabe yelled.
“I don’t know why you’re all so excited about this.” I said.
“Well I for one would like to see what makes THE Christian Mora’s girlfriend so awesome!” Kellin said.
“I want to watch the competition!” Justin said.
“I want to hear your band…” Cameron said.
“Guys come on! The limo’s waiting!” Danny yelled. We all climbed in… well except for me. I was tossed in, by none other than CC. The limo drove straight to the venue.
“GUYS! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?” Jagger yelled when I answered my phone.
“Woah man chill!” Gabe said.
“We’re almost there, don’t worry!” I said.
“HURRY UP BECAUSE THEY ARE STARTING SOON AND WE’RE NUMBER 20! NIKI IS FLIPPING A SHIT RIGHT NOW!” He yelled. I heard her screaming at Blade in the background.
“Hand the phone over to Niki…” I said calmly. I heard him pass the phone over.
“WHAT? WHO IS THIS? WHY ARE THEY CALLING? DON’T THEY KNOW THAT WE’RE AT A COMPETITION?” She asked all at once.
“Grew up in a small town, and when the rain would fall down I’d just stare out my window. Dreaming of what could be and if I’d end up happy I would pray…” I started singing. Soon enough not only did Niki join in, but so did everyone in the car.
“You got this, remember our song. I promise I will be there for your performance.” I could hear, if that was possible, her smile through the phone.
“I know you won’t let me down…” She said.
“See you soon.” And then I hung up the phone.
“Hey guys I’m sorry to say this, but it’s starting to downpour… heavily, we won’t make it in time…” With that my hopes dropped.
“Not true!” CC cried. He picked up his phone and called someone.
“Yeah, we’re stuck in traffic… Cool thanks!” He said and then hung up.
“Get out of the car!” He yelled at me.
“What? Why?”
“You’ll see, and no Kellin this doesn’t include you!” CC replied. In 5 minutes I saw a motorcycle pull up next to us.
“Beck?” I questioned. He nodded.
“You are the best!” I yelled. Beck hopped off of the motorcycle and CC and I hopped on. We weaved through traffic and rain, and eventually showed up at the venue.
“We made it!” I yelled.
“A promise like that, you’d always make it…” CC grabbed my hand and dragged me inside. The competition hasn’t started yet, but we ran anyways.
“You made it!” Matt and Andy screamed.
“I promised, didn’t I?” I questioned.
“You did, you did…” Jinxx said pulling me into a big bear hug.
“I’m just glad to see you out of that damn hospital…” Andy whispered under his breath. I just laughed.
“Everybody please take your seats, the competition will begin in 5 minutes…” A person said over the loudspeaker. The place was packed, but it was all good because seats were reserved for us. That included Sleeping With Sirens and Asking Alexandria.
“JUSTINE!” Sammi squealed as she ran up to me.
“Nice to see you looking alive!” Juliet joked. We all sat down. The lights dimmed as the first act came out. By the time they reached number 15 the others arrived.
“Nothing much, they’re number 20…” Juliet explained. They all nodded.
“Please welcome to the stage contestant number 20: Fear the Silence!” The announcer said. We all stood up and started cheering. In that moment I couldn’t be happier, ever. They started singing If You Think This Song Is About You It Probably Is and I hate to admit it, but it was nice to hear them from the audience for once. I looked over and Matt, BVB, Sleeping with Sirens, Asking Alexandria, Sammi, and Juliet were all singing along. The rest of the competition went by fast; well CC was cracking jokes the whole time.
Andy’s POV: We were all tallying up our scores. I’m pretty sure that we all gave Fear the Silence a 10 out of 10, but we weren’t the only judges on the panel. It was us four and then 5 other people.
“Please give a round of applause for all of the competitors tonight and give us five minutes for the judges to go out and discuss the winner.” The announcer said. People started chanting for who they wanted to win. It was amazing. We got up and walked outside.
“Read off who you have ranked as top 10. One being who you think should win.” The main judge said.

“So it is agreed that Broken Dreams wins?” The main judge said.
“No!” Jake yelled.
“What are you talking about it’s five votes to four? They win…” One of the head judges tried to explain.
“You invited all of us here to vote, yes?” Jake said. They nodded.
“Well our whole band, not including CC, voted for Fear the Silence… so either we discuss this further or we’re never coming back!” Jake with his thick skull said. They decided to talk it out.
“Andy… Andy… ANDY!” Ash yelled trying to get my attention.
“I assume he does this often?” Another judge said. My band mates nodded.
“Yeah sorry… what’s up?”
“They’re calling a tie between Fear the Silence and Broken Dreams.” Jinxx said.
“Okay! Yeah that sounds great!” We got up and walked onto the stage. I looked out into the audience and my eyes focused in on Jay. She was holding onto CC for dear life.
“Hi everyone… I’m Andy…” I announced.
“I’m Jake,”
“I’m Jinxx,”
“And I’m Ashley,”
“One of our band mates isn’t here with us right now, but his name is CC… and we’re Black Veil Brides. Before we announce the winners of this competition I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that came out today and gave it their all. As most of you know the prize happens to be going on tour with us this year. It’s a great experience and we are proud to enjoy it with the band that wins…” I said.
“But before we get to announcing the winners we are going to play some music for you guys!” Ashley yelled. My eyes flashed back to Jay; I already knew that CC was going to be backstage and I guess that she went with him when I saw the empty seats.
“Alright… this first one is off of our new album called In The End!” I yelled. We started singing. The crowd had an amazing response. I looked back at CC, he already knew what I was going to do.
“And for this next one, also off of our new album, I would like to bring a friend up here to help me play it.” I ran off stage and grabbed Jay.
“This one’s called Done For You!” We played that song also. After playing Let You Down and Knives And Pens, CC left the stage.
“Now I bet you’re all apprehensive about the winners, so here we go… In fifth place is Straight Talk.” Jinxx said. People started cheering as the band ran onto the stage.
“In fourth place is Devil’s Cloth…” Jake announced. More cheering came from the audience.
“Third place is Mother, May I” Ashley read.
“And second goes to Scouts of Bondage!” I screamed, “But I bet you’re wondering who came in first… am I right?” I asked. More cheering came from the crowd. “It was a perfect tie… Between… CC give me a drum roll… Fear the Silence and Broken Dreams!” I yelled. I saw the crowd go extatic, an
