Your not alone, and we'll brave this storm..

Andy sang softly, smiling as Vale listened to him. She had asked him to sing for her and he was singing a new song. The first one he'd written.

They were laying on one of the blow up mattresses a few sheets pulled up to her chin. Andy was shirtless and everyone was asleep but them.

They'd spent all day learning the ropes of their new job and Andy came home with the need to write. He hadn't done it in years but what Vale had said to him last night motivated him.

"It's beautiful.." She whispered as he finished singing. Her fingers were tracing circles into his skin and she flinched as she heard some gunshots outside of their window.

"Thanks." He said, pulling her closer. He was nervous for Vale- such a pretty girl in Los Angeles? That was a recipe for disaster.

"We should sleep. It's two in the morning." She said, leaning up to kiss his neck. He sighed.

"V, I'm worried." Andy shook his head. "What if you get hurt around here?"

"You won't let that happen though." She said, running her hand down his arm and back up.

"I know but what if I'm not with you or something?" He groaned, shading his eyes with his arm. She frowned and rubbed his chest, soothingly. She kissed between his pecks and he sighed happily. "You know, V, I hate to say it but I think your more confident as an angel."

"I am." She giggled. "Definitely more confident."

"Oh?" He raised his eyebrow and ducked down to give her a deep kiss. Andy moaned as she twisted her tongue with his like it was the most natural thing in the world.

"Mm." She mumbled as his hands drifted up her ribs.

"Hey? Would you two shut the hell up?!" They heard Ashley yell.

"Fuck off." Andy laughed. The two boys had become fast friends now that they were both angels.

"Just sleep, good god." CC spoke now.

"Can't help I have fucking insomnia." Andy retaliated.

"Yeah I'm sure your girlfriends lips are helping with that." Jinxx said. Vale cuddled up against his chest more and let her hand rest at the bottom of his stomach.

"Go to sleep love." Vale kissed behind his ear.

"Only if you do too." He said. She buried her face in his neck and let her breath even. She felt him situate himself and then he closed his eyes as he kissed her head. "Your my queen, dear. My one and only.."

Vale sighed as she straightened the row of records a few weeks later. Rachel was in the back while Andy was finishing up someone's purchase.

She hummed along to the song playing which was Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. A minute or so later she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist.

"Andy!" She swatted at his arms. "We can't do that at work!"

"Why not?" He frowned, kissing her neck softly. He sang along to the song softly, making her shiver with delight.

And I don't want the world to see me, 'cause I don't think that they'd understand.
When everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am.

"Cause it's not professional." Andy sighed at her words but laughed as he saw Rachel smirk at them.

"I don't care if you guys make out as long as work gets done." Their boss laughed. Vale shook her head and leaned back into his chest.

"Don't encourage him, Rach.." She said, poking his cheek. He rolled his eyes and went to the back to find more albums to put out.

Vale couldn't help but think he looked adorable in his black jeans and button up red and black shirt. She knew underneath that shirt a tattoo of her name was on his ribs. Opposite his heart he had a dragonfly. It was a little inside joke between angels.

A female angel was represented by a dragonfly and a male was a raven. It was sort of like a code name to be able to talk about it without saying the holy word.

So in a way Vale was his dragonfly and he was her raven. Like her very favorite poem.

"I was thinking we'd grab some dinner tomorrow night." Andy said, placing new CD's out in the appropriate section. "Sound good?"

"Yeah. Are you guys writing tonight?" She asked, plopping down on the stool behind the counter.

"Yep. Did you hear what we wrote last night?" Andy grinned.

"Yeah. It sounds great babe. Now we just need to book you some shows." Vale winked, taking a sip of her Monster.

"Hmm.." He sighed, leaning on the counter. "That's going to be impossible."

"Why don't you have one here?" Rachel asked. Both Andy and Vale looked up at her with wide eyes.

"What?" He asked the sweet lady. She was giving them a chance to work and he was so happy for it. Without Rachel they wouldn't be able to get food, keep up with rent- she was a blessing.

"Have one in the parking lot. We'll advertise it and maybe have it around October." Rachel smiled at the couple.

"That would be so amazing. God, Rachel, thank you." Andy said, pulling Vale close to him as she stood up. He sat back on another one of the stools.

"No problem." Rachel smiled. "It would be good business for the store."

"Very true." Vale chuckled, leaning her butt against Andy's lap. He shifted his weight on the stool a bit to wrap his arms around her waist.

"You guys can head home if you want. I'm thinking of closing early. I have a date tonight." Rachel winked.

"Ooh, with who?!" Vale smiled, propping her chin up in her hand.

"A guy I met out a few months ago. His name is Ben." Rachel gushed, hiding her face in her hands.

"Aw, she's blushing!" Vale grinned as Andy hugged around her waist even tighter.

"Can I ask you guys a question?" Rachel said, sitting next to them.

"Sure." Andy laughed.

"How did you know you loved each other?" She asked. Vale looked up at him, remembering when she had first said she loved him in the human world but also in heaven.

"I don't know. I guess when you feel your heart speed up just when you look at them." Andy shrugged.

"When you finish each other's sentences." Vale smiled.

"When you know what the other is thinking.."

"When you bump noses while you kiss and even the tips of your noses fit together."

"Your whole body has to fit together, that's the key."

"Yeah, so cuddle with him-"

"Okay I get it!" Rachel interjected.

"Sorry, we get carried away." Andy laughed, his head coming to rest in her neck. He kissed
Vale's temple for at least ten seconds. She smiled, her eyes fluttering closed.

"Never ask us about love." Vale laughed.

"Noted." Rachel smirked, ruffling Vale's hair. "Go home. Relax and I'll see you guys in a few days. Enjoy your days off."

Andy smiled as he realized they'd have two days off. Vale slid off his lap and walked to the back. She grabbed her bag and slipped it on her shoulder. She walked back to Andy, placing her hand in his.

"Bye Rach. Have fun tonight." Vale smiled, sliding her sunglasses on her face.

"Will do!" Rachel laughed. Vale pulled Andy, walking out of the store.

"We need to go grocery shopping." Vale said, pulling him in that direction.

"Okay." He nodded, squeezing her hand. A few men passed them and looked at Vale before whistling.

"Hey baby, why don't you leave that faggot and come home with me?" One of them said. Vale frowned as Andy shot them all glares before wrapping his arm around her shoulder. She looked up at him and he shook his head.

"Just ignore it." He said.

"I am." They walked in silence until they reached the closest Walmart. Andy grabbed the cart and pushed alongside Vale as she picked out everything they would need. She was a health nut which bummed Andy and the guys out. She still didn't eat much either.

"What's chocolate milk?" Andy inquired, picking up the jug of milk.

"Something that's not healthy for you." Vale laughed, taking it from him and putting it back.

"Vale, please?" He groaned. She rolled her eyes and placed it gently in the cart. Andy giggled with delight before pulling her into a soft kiss. "God I love you." She smirked against his mouth before pulling away.

"I love you too." They walked along together before making it around to the movie section. Andy picked up a Batman movie and smiled at Vale. She only giggled and nodded.

"Movie night!" He exclaimed. She smiled at him, glancing behind his shoulder. A few girls were staring at Andy's butt and giggling. He turned around and raised his eyebrow making them walk a little farther away but still stared.

Vale couldn't help but feel a little jealous as they winked at him. The girls were absolutely beautiful, one with blonde hair and the other with reddish brown. They glared at her, especially when Andy pulled her close to his body. He kissed her softly, rubbing his thumbs into her skinny hips.

"You don't even understand how much I love you, do you?" Andy laughed, kissing her forehead, nose, and mouth once again. "I've never even seen a girl who could even try to compare. Especially those girls."

She smiled softly at him and nodded. They walked past the girls, laughing at each other all the way.
