I Dare You

"How many flyers have you handed out?," I asked Janice as she did some of the Geometry work our teacher assigned us.

"All of them. A lot of people are super excited about the party. What kind of angle is this?".

"Acute. Who told you?".

"Everyone I gave a flyer to. Some already had invitation from Andy, but I'll make sure they take yours so you win".

"Are you really that doubtful that I'm gonna win?".

"Yes," she laughed. I lightly pushed her.

"You're such a jerk!".

"But you love me".

"Says who?". She smiled and throws me a piece of paper. I'm actually pretty excited about this party. Not only is it the biggest party I've had, but I'm going to be eighteen. I'm finally an adult! I sighed and continued on my work.

"So what are you doing after school?," Janice asked as she took my paper and started copying.

"Crystal wants to take me out to look at some dresses for me to wear for my party. Why?,"I snatched my paper back.

"Because I'm gonna be alone. Kimberly has cheer leading practice and I have nothing to do".

"Do you want to go dress shopping with us?".

"No thanks. Woman take forever shopping! Plus, I already have a dress".

"Fine, walk along your lonely road".

"It's the only one I've every known". We laughed and finished our work.

"Is your birthday gonna have a theme?".

"No, just regular. Don't want to go through all that struggle in trying to look for the things you need".

"Point taken".

"Point given". The bell rang, signaling it was time to go home. We grabbed our things and walked to our lockers.

"Well, catch you on the flip side, senorita," said Janice as she walked backwards.

"Bye!". I laughed and started making my way home.

"Honey, I'm home!," I yelled as I closed the door behind me and dropped my back pack on the ground. I made my way into the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle. Where's Crystal?

"Crystal! Come on, we have to go to the mall!," I yelled as I walked towards the stairs. I stood there for a good two minutes, waiting for a respond. Nothing. "I hope she's not up there having sex". I made my way up the stairs.

"Chris! I need you to come with me since you have the license and the car!," I yelled as I stood outside her bedroom door.

"I'm not in the mood," she finally responded.

"Crystal, you promised!".

"Just go away". I sighed and turned her door knob. It's unlocked. I stepped inside to find her on her bed with her face on the pillow.

"You forgot to lock your door".

"Just get out Aph". I narrowed my eyes and look at her in confusion. What's wrong with her? I sat down on her bed.

"Crystal, what's wrong?".

"Nothing, just get out".

"Come on Crystal. I'm just trying to help you".

"Get out Aph!," she yelled. Okay, there's defiantly something wrong with her. I quickly grabbed her and turned her around. I gasped.

"Aph! I told you to get the fuck out!," she yelled as she tried to cover her face.

"Who did this to you?".

"No one".

"No one? No one?! You have a fuckin' black eye and busted lip! Who the fuck did this to you?!". She looked down as tears started falling on her pillow. Who would do this to her?! The only person who has done this wa..... Brendon?

"Did Brendon do this to you?". She looked me in the eyes, but stayed quite. "Crystal, did Brendon do this to you?".

"He didn't mean to. He just thought I was cheating on him, because I was talking to Charlie, my co-worker. It was all my fault". I looked at her, stunned.

"It's all your fault? He didn't mean to?! What are you talking about, Crystal?! He has no right to hit you and none of this was your fault!".

"He said he did it because he loves me and cares about me!".

"Oh my, gosh Crystal! When are you gonna open your eyes and see that that motherfucker doesn't love you?! If you truly love someone, you don't hit them. This is he second, not first, second time he does this! What do you think that says?!". She just shook her head as more tears ran down her face.

"Where is he?".

"No please, Aph. Don't hurt him!".

"No! I'm not just gonna let him get away with this and you need to stop protecting him! Where the fuck is he?!". She sighed.

"At his house". I quickly got up and took out my phone to call Janice.

*Janice's POV*

"So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, you and me, everyday," I said along with Ryan Gosling as I watched The Notebook, stuffing popcorn in my mouth. "Dammit Noah! Why can't I be you?!". Just then my phone rang. I quickly paused the movie and answered.

"Hello?".

"Janice, I need you," I heard Aph's voice.

"Looks who finally coming to Lesbianville," I laughed.

"Janice I'm serious! I need your help".

"Why? What's wrong?".

"He did it again. Brendon hit Crystal again".

"Are you fucking kidding me?!".

"No! I'm on my way to Brendon's house, you'll find me there," said as she hung up.

"Sorry Noah, we must part," I said as I turned my T.V. off and slipped on my shoes. I quickly grabbed my mom's car keys and ran out the door. Just as I was about to get in, I thought of Andy.

"Of course! He's my neighbor! He can help us!". I quickly ran across my lawn and ran to his. Right as I passed his window I saw someone else. That's not him. I quick went back and peeked in.

"What the fuck? Scout? What is she doing her? Why did he let her in?!," I whispered to myself as I watched. She suddenly wrapped her arms around Andy and kissed him. I gasped. "That son of a bitch!". I ran to his door and slammed on it.

*Andy's POV*

"Scout? What are you doing here?," I asked surprised.

"I just came to talk to you, see how you were doing," she said as she pushed pass me. I followed her into the living room. She turned around.

"Scout, what do you want?".

"You".

"Look Scout, I already told you...".

"I know, I know. You have a girlfriend and blah blah blah, but I don't care. I want you".

"I love Aphrodite, Scout. I'm sorry". She suddenly wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me forcefully. I quickly pushed her away. Right as I was about to tell her something I heard someone slamming on my door.

Janice's POV*
"Andy, open up!," I yelled as I continued to slam it.

"Hey! What's wrong?!," he asked as he opened the door nervously.

"Where the fuck is she?!," I said as I pushed pass him and made my way into his living room. There she is. Right as she turned around I punched her in the face as hard as I could, knocking her down.

"Whoa! What are you doing?!," yelled Andy as walked in behind me.

"What am I doing? What the fuck are doing with her?! You have a fuckin' girlfriend!".

"I didn't kiss her! She kissed me!".

"And that's suppose to change anything?!". I turned around as Scout was getting up.

"You're gonna pay for that".

"Oh I'm so scared, I'm shivering!".

"Scout, please get out," said Andy.

"But Andy..".

"Get out!". She angrily grabbed her purse and started walking away, but stopped and turned around.

"This isn't over," she stared at me. I flipped her off and she walked out. What a bitch!

"Look Janice..".

"There's nothing you can say that's gonna stop me from telling Aph".

"Let me explain!".

"There's nothing to explain. Now if you excuse me, I need to go help her to kick someones ass". I walked out the door and made my way towards the car.

"What do you mean?," asked Andy as he came behind me.

"Don't worry about it". I climbed into the car and drove away. Don't worry Aph, I'm coming.

*Aph's POV*

Time to fuck shit up! I climbed out of Crystal's car and quickly made my way toward the door and started slamming it. I kept slamming it in till Brendon finally opened the door.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't...". I punched him in the face before he could say anything else. I pushed him inside his house and threw him on the ground.

"I warned you Brendon, if you laid another finger on my sister I was going to hurt you worse than I did before!". He slowly got up and smiled.

"Just like you warned you dumbass sister not to get back with me, but I guess she was too stupid to listen to you". I balled my fist and aimed for his jaw, but he grabbed my hand before I could hit him. He used his free hand to slap me across my face and push me on the ground. Fuck, that stings!

"You shouldn't have some here alone, Aph. You're weak by yourself. Weak enough for me to do whatever I want with you". He jump on me and tried to pin my arms down. I'm not about to let this happen again! I used all my strength to push him off of me. I climbed on top of him and started swinging at his face, but to his luck, pushed me off. Dammit he got stronger! He climbed on top of me again and managed to pin me down.

"So what? You're gonna rape me? Is that it?".

"Come on sweetie, I'm not that much of a monster".

"Whatever you do, don't think you're gonna get away with it".

"I've already done a lot of things in my life that I've gotten away with and this is gonna be one of them". He started kissing down my neck as he laid on top of me, holding me down with his weight.

"Aph!," I heard Janice's voice.

"Janice!," I yelled. She ran in and pulled Brendon off of me and punched him in the face. "Right on time".

"Sorry, got held up". I smiled. "Well, let kick some ass". We eventually stopped hitting him after a while. It took a bit more strength this time since he was actually fighting back, unlike last time.

"Like I said, we were gonna beat you worse," I said as I crossed my arms.

"Okay you did it, congratulations. What are you gonna do? Call the cops on me again?," he said as he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"No, we're gonna give you your last warning. Come near her or her sister, I will personally take care of you. You don't know what I'm capable of so I suggest you listen this time. With the connections I have I am capable of kidnapping you, torturing you, or making your death seem like a suicide and accident. Do you understand?," said Janice as he had him by the collar, inches away from his face. Brendon stared back, scared. I know what she saying is true. She knows lots of people who are welling to do anything for her. Even murder. "I said do you understand?!". Brendon nodded his head rapidly. She pushed him away and walked out the door.

"I'd listen to her. Have a nice day!," I smiled widely and slammed the door behind me as I walked out.

"I like that dramatic exit you did there," I said as I walked towards Crystal's car.

"You caught on to it? I try my best," she smirked. "So I guess you're not going to the mall".

"I guess not. My house?".

"Indeed". We each climbed into the cars and made our way to my house.

Once I drove into the drive way I noticed Andy's car. Janice parked next to me and climbed out.

"What's Andy doing here?," I asked as I closed the car door.

"I don't know," she said angrily. Maybe still mad about the whole Brendon thing.

"Aphrodite," said Andy as he ran out of my house and made his way towards me. "What happened to you? You have a bruise on you face!". I smiled and started making my way inside.

"Janice and I took care of something".

"We went to go kick Crystal's, officially forever ex's, ass," said Janice. We made our way into the living room and sat on the couch. I sighed in relief.

"You should've told me so I could've done it," said Andy.

"I was in range mood and my mind was only set on kick his ass".

"You want some water?," asked Janice.

"Yes please!." I said.

"I'll come with you," said Andy as they both walked into the kitchen. I got up and made my way upstairs to check on Crystal.

*Janice's POV*

"Janice. Janice. Janice!," said Andy.

"What?! What do you want?!".

"Before you tell her anything, let me explain what happened".

"I already told you, there's nothing to explain. I'm telling her," I said angrily as I grabbed two waters from the fridge. He grabbed me by my shoulders and pinned me to the fridge.

"Janice please! I care about her more than you think, just let me explain". I stared at him for a minute and sighed. Damn him and his puppy eyes. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.

"You have one minute".

"Okay, she came to my house and just invited her self in. I asked her what she was doing here and she said she wanted me, ignoring the fact I'm with Aphrodite. I told her I love Aphrodite, not her and she just grabbed me and kissed me. I pushed her away as soon as it happened and that's when you came". He gave me desperate eyes as he waited for my response.

"That's what happened?".

"Yes!".

"And if you're lying?".

"I'm not".

"I don't know that".

"Dammit Janice!".

"Just tell me, if I find out you lied to me, what can I do to you?".

"Ugh, I don't know, kick me in the balls".

"No, I'm gonna cut you're balls off and wear them as a fuckin' necklace if you're lying to me".

"That's....very graphic, but okay, deal".

"Okay then," I smiled.

"What happened to the little innocent girl you were?," he laughed.

"She started watching porn and lots of horror movies". We laughed.

"So, is this between you and me?,"he asked.

"Yes, but remember, you're balls around my neck". He nodded and wrapped his arm around my neck as we walked into the living room.

*Aph's POV*

"Crystal?," I said as I walked into her room. There she was, sitting on her bed, drinking vodka.

"Why am I so stupid?". I smiled and sat down next to her.

"You got it from mom side". She laughed and pushed me.

"I'm serious! I should've listened to you," she laid her lead on my lap.

"Sometime we're blinded by what we believe is love, but don't worry, you'll make it through this. Just like you did last time". I ran my fingers through her hair.

"Did you kick his ass?".

"Oh yes!".

"Kick it good".

"Whipped it really good".

"Have I every told you you're the best little sister in the world?".

"No, but there's always a first for everything".

"I love you".

"I love you too, big sis," I said as I hugged her tightly.
