I Dare You

"So, what are you gonna make him do if you win?," Janice wiggled her eyebrows as she smirked. I told her the deal Andy and I made. I doubt I'm gonna win. Knowing how popular Andy is, I have no chance. What if he wins? What is he gonna make me do?! I'm scared.

"Do you think I have a chance to win?," I asked as I placed the flyer I drew on the copy machine.

"Not a chance, but if there was a slightest chance, what would you make him do?," she asked again.

"Thank you for the lack of faith. I don't know, but I want it to be memorable".

"What ever it is, make there be nudity. That will be very memorable".

"Is that all you think about, nudity? I thought Kimberly was gonna help you with those thoughts".

"Oh, she has! Yes, she has". I looked at her confused, in till she winked and I finally understood what she meant. How does lesbian sex work?

"How do you do it? Do you just, like, scissor?".

"Watch porn, it will explain everything". I shrugged. "Looks like we have enough copies. Let's start handing these babies out," said Janice as she grabbed half of the pile. I hope I win. I don't want to begin to imagine what Andy has in mind for me if he wins.

We walked around the school, handing out every student a invitation. Surprisingly everyone I invited already knew who I was. I honestly had no idea so many people knew I existed. The majority did say they were sorry with what I went though with Ronnie. The week with Andy was all I needed to feel better. I looked around and I few of them already had a invitation from Andy. Dammit! He's ahead of us!

"Just remember, when you come, bring these papers. I need it for a deal I'm doing and I don't want to loose".

"Like the one Andy is doing?," asked the guy with blonde hair.

"Yeah, he's the one I'm trying to beat," I chuckled.

"Yeah, Ashley explained everything. I can't believe you're fine with it". Huh?

"Why wouldn't I be fine with it? It's just a deal".

"If I would've known you were up to these types of things, I would've done it before he did," he winked. I tilted my head slightly to the left and stared at him, confused. People must really like making deals in this school.

"What do you mean?".

"I mean the whole d...".

"Hey Aph, we have more people to pass flyers to," said Kimberly as she pushed me away from the guy. What? I'm so confused.

"Wait, I wanna know what he meant," I said as I was forcefully begin pushed forward.

"He likes making deals with people, it's kinda his thing. Maybe later on in life he's gonna be a drug dealer".

"Oh".

"Yeah, don't play attention to him". I have a feeling she's lying to me. I need to find out what he meant by that. I know there's more to it than what's she's saying. I'm usually right when it comes to these sorts of things.

"Hey, Aphrodite!," I heard some call from behind me. I turned around and saw Scout with one of Andy's invitations. What the hell? He invited her?! "Can't wait for your party". She smirked and she waved the paper around.

"Did Andy invited you?". She walked up to me and was a few inches away from my face.

"Actually, he did. I guess he still has feelings for me". I narrowed my eyes and stared into hers. Don't get mad. Just walk away.

"Cool, have a super wonderful day," I smiled and turned away.

"Just so you know I will get him back, even if it means getting rid of you". My eyes widen as she smirked and walked.

"Aph, are you okay?," asked Kimberly as she shook my shoulder.

"What did she mean by that? Was that a death threat?". Get rid of me?

"Don't listen to her. She'll never lay a hand on you and we'll make sure of that".

"That bitch!," yelled Janice in the middle of class. I told her about what Scout said to me and as you can tell, she isn't very happy about that.

"Ms. Gibson!," yelled our creative writing teacher, Ms. Terry.

"Sorry! That bitch," she whispered in anger. "How dare he invite her?! She his ex, he's not allowed to be around her anymore! Does he not know the meaning of the 'ex'?!".

"What if what she said is true?".

"She's gonna get rid of you?".

"No, he still likes her".

"Oh no, I can tell he loves you. Why would he trade you for her? Look at you, your a queen! Any guy would kill to be with you".

"Really?".

"Yeah, see look at the front and to your right". I followed as she said and made eye contact with a guy name Austin Carlile. He smiled and blushed slightly. Honestly, he's one of the most adorable guys in this school.

"What about Austin?".

"He loves you! Look at the way he looks at you. Every time I see him I catch him looking at you. You're like his muse!".

"One out of the hundred guys in this school doesn't mean anything".

"Okay, tell you what. I'll go around and ask guys to sign a paper if they like you. Then you can see you are as gorgeous as I think you are".

"Okay, fine, but if a few people sign it, not only will it crush my soul, but it'll prove you a point".

"Let's begin, shall we".

"What?". She smirked at me, ripped a paper from her binder, got up and walked in font of the class. What is she doing?!

"Ms. Henderson, what are you doing?." asked Ms. Terry.

"Oh don't worry, this will only take a second". Ms. Terry sighed and sat at her desk.

"Take all the time you need".

"Thank you. Can I have everyone's attention?," she yelled to the class. Everyone turned their attention towards Janice. "Now as you all know, Aphrodite is my best friend,"she pointed at me. Everyone turned and I sled down in my seat as I covered my head."I think she beautiful, amazing, and just right down sexy, but she doesn't think so". Everyone 'aww' and a few guys winked at me. Dammit Janice. "Now, I want people to sign this paper if....you would bang her".

"Janice!," I yelled in embarrassment. Most of the guys high fived Janice and each other. To no surprise, Austin signed it. This is the negative side about having a friend like Janice. She not afraid to speak her mind. She doesn't care what everyone else think of her. She also doesn't care about embarrassing me! I'm so gonna get her back for this. Once the paper was back in her hands, she bowed down.

"Thank you everyone, you've been a lovely crowd. Thanks for participating". Once she sat down, she smirked at me. She handed me the paper and the majority of the class had signed it.

"Is that enough to persuade you?".

"It's enough to persuade to kill you!".

"I can't wait to show Andy this. He's gonna get so jealous!". I smirked at her and sat up.

"You really think so?".

"Fuck yeah! This will show him you can have any guy in this school you want just as much as he can".

"This will make him jealous and make him regret inviting Scout".

"Tell you what, you give me to the end of the school day and I'll have pages worth of
signatures".

"You got it. Wow, for once I like one of your ideas".

"I always have great ideas". Just then, the bell rang and we got our things ready to head to our next class. Once I walked out someone called my name. I turned around to look up at Austin.

"Hi Austin," I smiled widely.

"I just wanted to let you know you shouldn't feel the way you do, because you very beautiful and gorgeous".

"Thank you, Austin".

"Your welcome". I tipped toed and kissed him on the cheek. Like I said adorable.

"Aph! Aph! Aph!," yelled Janice as she ran towards me. She jumped on me, knocking me down.

"Ow, Janice!".

"Look what I have," she shoved six sheets of paper in my face. "All signed front to back by guys and girls!". I sat up and looked them over. I talk to one-fourth of the people other paper. The others I had no idea they even know I existed. "Now as you can see, you're popular".

"Wow, I can be the new school whore with these many people".

"Wait, I forgot to sign my name," said said as she rummaged through her backpack for a pen.

"Janice!".

"What? Every signature counts". She grabbed the paper and signed it. Oh Janice.

"What's going on here?," asked Andy as he looked down at us with a suspicious look on his face.

"Oh nothing, just chatting," I said as he helped me up.

"Chatting about what?".

"This is what we're talking about," Janice said as she handed Andy the papers.

"They're just a bunch of signatures".

"Signatures of people who would go out with Aph".

"And you did this why?".

"She wasn't feeling very...beautiful, so I was proving her a point".

"But I tell you you're beautiful everyday".

"I know, but the security went away when you invited Scout to my party".

"I'll just wait over here," said Janice as she walked away.

"What do you mean?".

"She came up to me today and she was hold on of your invitations, Andrew".

"Wow, you must be really mad since you're using my full name," he smiled.

"I'm not joking," I crossed my arms.

"Right, sorry. Look I didn't invite her. She must've gotten it from someone else".

"How can I believe you?".

"Because I love you and I don't like her".

"She's your ex. How can I be so sure ?". He rolled his eyes and pulled me closer to him. He dipped me down and kissed me passionately. Once we stood up straight, I couldn't stop smiling.

"Now do you believe me?".

"Dammit Andy, what is it about you that doesn't allow me to stay mad at you?".

"Maybe my charming good looks".

"Or maybe your cockiness".

"Ah, I see". We laughed and hugged each other. "Don't worry, I will never leave you for anyone else".

"Promise?".

"Promise".
