I Dare You

"What do you want, Ronnie?!," I yelled as I continued to fight to get free from his grip.

“What every guys in this school wants! You,” he said as he started kissing and biting my neck roughly. I groaned in pain while thinking of a way to get away from him. He’s too strong! Damn these football players and their strength! He placed my right leg in between both of his, in an attempt to open my legs more. This is my chance! I position my knee and as hard as I could, thrust it forward. He groaned in pain and fell to his knees. As quick as I could I put on my shorts, grabbed my shirt, and ran.

“You bitch!,” I heard him yell once I ran out the locker rooms. I took a right to make my way to the cafeteria. I looked back to make sure he wasn't following me, but them bumped into someone.

“Oh God! I’m sorry,” he said. I looked up into some brown eyes.. “Are you okay?”. I pulled him into a hug and cried my eyes out. It didn't hit me in till I was in this strangers arms that I was about to be raped. I didn't expect Ronnie to be capable of something…something like this. I just thought he hated me. “What’s wrong?”. I released him from my grip and pulled myself together.

“I’m sorry”. He smiled, but quickly looked away and covered his eyes. “What?,” I asked in confusion.

“You’re missing your shirt,” he stated as he handed me my shirt on the ground next to him. I blushed and quickly put my shirt on.

“You don’t need to cover your eyes anymore”. I slowly peeked through his fingers and sighed in relief.

“Is everything okay? You look terrified”. I opened my mouth to explain what just happened when I heard Ronnie scream my name from the end of the hall. I looked back and saw him making his way towards us.

“We need to go!,” I said as I quickly got up and started pulling him, but he wasn’t moving, just staring at Ronnie. “Come on!”.

“Why are you running?”.

“Because he just tried to rape me!,” I said as tears started running down my face again. It was too late to run, because there he was, standing in front of the guy.

“Move out of my fuckin’ way!,” yelled Ronnie as he was reaching for me, but the guy pulled his arm down.

“Do you know sexual harassment and rape is a serious crime?,” the guy asked in an angry tone.

“And what are you..”. Ronnie sentence was cut short when the guy punched him in the face. Ronnie leaned against the lockers, trying to keep himself on his feet. I stood there, shocked. Most guys would never go against Ronnie.

“You want to play that game?,” Ronnie asked as he stood straight again and looked at the guy dead in the eyes. He swung, but the guy moved away and quickly punched him in the nose. I swear I heard a crack. “Son of a bitch!,” he yelled as he placed both his hands over his nose. I soon saw blood running though his fingers and on to the ground.

“Aphrodite!,” I heard a familiar voice yell my name from behind.

“Andy!,” I yelled as I ran into his arms. I hugged him as tight as I could.

“What’s wrong? What happened?,” he asked concerned. I held my tears back and looked up at him.

“Ronnie tried to rape me”.

“What?!,” he yelled and quickly made his way to Ronnie. I ran behind him and held onto the guy’s arm. I watch as Andy and Ronnie punching and kicking each other around.

“Hey! Stop!, “someone yelled followed with a lot of footsteps. I looked back and saw the principle Mr. Ronald, Ms. White, and a few of the school’s security guards. They separated both of them and slammed them against the lockers, as they were trying to still fight each other.

“What’s going on here?!,” yelled the principle. A few students started gathering at the other side of the hall.

“What’s going on here is the mother fucker tried to rape my girlfriend!,” yelled Andy as he tried to release himself from the security guard’s grip.

“What?! Is this true?!,” he asked as he looked at me. I nodded as tears ran down my face. Ms. White came over and hugged me.

“I knew something was wrong. I walked by her locker row and noticed her clothes were on the ground and all her stuff was still in her locker,” said Ms. White as she hugged me tightly.

“Who are you?,” asked Mr. Ronald as he looked at the guy next to me. My savior.

“Jake Pitts,” he replied.

“He protected me when Ronnie came behind me,” I stated. I looked at him and smiled. He returned it and rubbed my shoulder.

“Ms. White, call the police and take Jake and Aphrodite with you. Security, take these two to my office”. I looked at Andy and he nodded his head. I ran to him and kissed him as hard as I could and ran back to Ms. White.

“I can’t believe that asshole would do something like this,” said Janice as I rested my head on her shoulder. We were waiting in the office for the principle to let us go. My dad was inside the principal’s office along with Andy and his parents, Ronnie and his dad, and Jake and his parents. Mikey, Frank, and Gerard waited in the hall, outside the office for us to be released. Just then all of them walked out the office, Ronnie held by the cops with his hands cuffed.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be back for you babe,” winked Ronnie as he was pulled out the office by the police. His dad apologized to me and walked out behind him.

“You okay, honey?,” asked dad as he pulled me into tight hug.

“Yeah, just tired”. He smiled and kissed my forehead. Andy and Jake walked out with the principal and their parents.

“I sorry, but I hope you two understand,” said Mr. Ronald.

“Yeah,” said Andy and Jake. He nodded and walked back into his office. I walked up to Andy and hugged him tightly.

“Looks like we’re gonna spend an entire week together,” he smiled.

“Why?,” I raised my eyebrow. “I have a one week suspension”.

“Why?! That’s not fair!”.

“I got into a fight in school, it can’t go unpunished”.

“As long as we spend it together , I’m fine with it”. I turned around as saw Jake walking out the office. I quickly ran out.

“Jake!,” I yelled.

“What’s up?,” he asked as he turned around.

“I just wanted to say thank you for what you did back there. I really appreciate it”.

“It was noting, really. I couldn’t just let him hurt you. No one deserves to get sexually violated”.

“Did you get suspended too?”.

“Nope, just a week’s worth of detention, are you okay?”.

“I am now. Maybe you can come and hang out with me and my friends next week, when your detention is over”.

“Sound cool,” he smiled widely.

“Cool, see you then”.I gave him a quick hug and walked back in the office. My dad and Andy’s dad talking to each other, something they haven’t done since my mom left. Janice, Mikey, Gerard, and Andy’s mom were talking, and Andy was staring at me with a smile on his face.

“Why is it that ever since I started dating you, all these sorts of crazy things started happening?,” he asked as he wrapped his arms around me waist.

“Maybe we aren't meant to be”.

“Or maybe because you attract crazy people”.

“Like you”. He laughed and threw his head back.

“Exactly, like me. Crazy for you”.

“Come on kids, let’s go home,” said my dad.

“So, what do you have planned for my birthday?,” I asked Andy as I played with his hand as we laid on my bed.

“Like I said, it’s a surprise”.

“Will I like it?”.

“Hopefully love, but I will tell you this, it comes straight from my heart”. I blushed and buried my face in his neck.

“I can’t wait!”.

“So, what are planning to do?”.

“Nothing really, maybe just a small gathering with our friends”.

“Are you kidding me?!”.

“What?,” I giggled.

“You’re going to be eighteen! You should throw a full on bash! I’ll invite people I know and you invite the school”.

“You’re serious?”.

“Yes!”.

“Okay, but I doubt anyone will come”.

“How about we make it a challenge?”. I raised my eyebrow and looked him in the eye.

“What do you have in mind?”.

“If you invite more people, I’ll…..I’ll do anything you want me to do and if you win, I’ll do whatever you want me to do”. I sat on him and smirked.

“Anything?”.

“Anything”. Interesting.

“You got a deal”.

“Good”. We shook hands and started at each other mischievously.

“May the best man win”.
