My Romeo's Lullaby

Shadows Die.

Cora looked up at the night sky and sighed.
"Your father was always a stubborn one." Mora said, sitting on the ground beside her. "I don't know what to do." Cora looked down.
Mora thought for a moment. "First of all, darling, get to know the guy a little, maybe he's sweeter than you thought." Cora leaned back against the door and gave a 'are you kidding me?' look. "He has killed thousands of people, he has villages filled with no water or food, people are dying in the castle!" She sad with anger and many hand movements.
They both sighed.

After a moment of silence Cora spoke again.
"There's something that happened to today, I ran into Wild Ones men." Mora looked at her. "How did you find them? They aren't seen in many forests."
"I ran into them with my horse, litterally, the king helped me up."
Cora stood up and went inside, it was getting cold.
"You know, the king of The Wild Ones is still looking for a queen." Mora wiggled her eyebrows and followed her inside.
Cora sat on the chair by the window and took a sweet out of a jar.
"So what am I supposed to do? Jump in someones arms and immediatly marry, leaving everything behind?" Cora chuckled lightly.
"Since you were born it was your duty to rule and stand beside a king, no matter what you choose, your life is going to change and maybe it isn't such a bad thing."
Mora laid down on the bed and played with the origami dragons Cora made when she was younger.
"I just don't know if I'm ready for it yet." She sighed. Mora stood up and brought Cora to bed. Cora snuggled under the covers.
"Just try to find something good in him alright? tomorrow is a new day." Mora caresed her cheek and then dissapeared into thin air, leaving only a black feather behind.
She sighed and looked at her high ceiling. Okey, fine she was going to try seeing the good side of Aiden, but she's not gonna swoon or fall in his arms like a weakling.
Soon she fell asleep with her dress under the covers.

The next morning someone rudely jumped into the room and started jumping on the bed, but this room was on the other side of the dessert.
"Dude, wake up wake up, huh- I mean your grace!" Andy growled and slowly sat up.
"CC, GOD DAMMNIT WHAT NOW?" He shouted.
He had a short night and a rather unpleasant dream, he didn't have the energy to take another day like yesterday.
"The new horses are here!" CC shouted and got of the bed so Andy could get up.
"That's great CC why don't you take care of them and tell the sellers that you have the money." CC walked out without a word and ran downstairs.
Damn he really is like a puppy. In the door frame stood Koda.
"Morning, your highness." She said with her arms folded. Andy stood up from his black wool covered bed and grabbed his clothes from the floor.
"What is it?" Koda walked in a looked at her shirtless friend.
"The girl you ran into yesterday, who was she?" She sat down on the chair and gave Andy his glove armor.
"Princess of Forendall, daughter of King Frankling III and believe me, she's not interested." Koda chuckled and stood up.
"What do you mean she's not interested?" Andy walked out of the room fully dressed and koda followed him. "I mean she's a bit of a toddler and not into girls, plus she's already engaged to Aiden-"
"Fortales?"
"Yes, and his plan is to use her to rule the kingdoms."
"I thought she was kind of cute, your grace." She laughed.
They walked through the black stone halls to his throne room.
"Like I said, she's not into chicks." He stomped the door in and everyone in the room looked up from their tables and raised their cups.
"To the king!" Everyone yelled.
The tables were in lines and in the middle there was a path that lead to his throne. "Goodmorning everybody! today is a big day as we are about to invade another village, does everyone have their equipment!?" He said in a low growling voice.
Everyone answered with a yes and he walked to his throne, smiling. Koda followed him and sat beside him on her own big chair.
The castle of The Wild Ones was a lot different from Forendall.
Everything was dirty gold and black.
Everyone was wearing feather or a wolfs coat with the sigil on their armor; a black dragon.
Andy sat on his throne and ate his morning meal.
Koda took care of some buisiness and laughed with their friends.
Ashley walked in, took a beer from a table and ran to his chair on the left side of andy.
"Your grace." He laughed in a mocking tone.
"Douchebag." Andy said an they laughed.

After everyone ate they got into their black feathered armor. They resembled outside on their horses with their weapons.
The big city was beautiful, the people were happy and lived the way they wanted.
Some parts were farms and some parts were little shops, houses and a school or two. Everything was good.
It was just the view from the other kingdoms, they thought The Wild Ones were sick and unclean people, eating dirt and murdering eachother.
Andy walked to his big garden and greeted his baby.
The Black dragon spread her wings and bowed her head to Andy.
"Hey girl, how you doing? Wanna kill some F.E.A.R bitches today?" He talked to himself.
The black dragon blew some smoke out of her nose.
Andy grabbed one of her horns, jumped on and sat behind her ears.
"Come on girl, let's slay some ass." He pulled at her ear and she spread her wings ones again and flew up.
The army was ready to go and raisin their weapons.
Andy grabbed his sword and pointed it north. The army marched forward and followed the dragon.
Meanwhile, Cora was readin her favourite book for the third time with a cup of tea and some lovely sun. Aiden walked in her room and sat on the balcony with her.
"My lady." He bowed and took a cup of tea.
Cora didn't responded.
"My lady you have to understand that you have no choice, it is settled and your father and I already made a deal."
Still no answer. Monica came running in with another man in panic. The other man was Aiden squire. "My lord, one of your villages is being attacked." They said breathlessly.
Aidens face went to stone and her ran out of the room.
Cora sighed and proceeded to read her book in silence, she didn't have time for nonsense like this.

In the village things were rough.
The gates were on fire thanks to Andy and you heard ear piercing screams everywhere.
It isn't what you think.
They aren't murdering in cold blood. The plan is that they sort of kidnap the people and bring them to The Rebellion so they can have a better life there. So far everyone ended happy, except Aiden.
It was his own fault, he shouldn't keep people in his village and make them starve and rot to death. The dragon was in the air and looked from above.
Andy saw his men helping women and children out of the fire and leading them to drawn cart, back to the city to safety. Not soon after he saw a group of horses attacking his army, the weird thing was it wasn't from F.E.A.R's army. They must have come from Forendall.
He flew down to the horses and to his luck it was king Franklin.
"What do you think you're doing?!" The old man shouted in at him.
"MY JOB!" He shouted back and flew up.
The whole village was empty now. It was time to go home. The only thing that needed to happen was the drawn carts with the people in it to go back to the village, then everyone was safe.
He saw someone on top of the highest tower and raised the dragon flag, it was Ashley. Andy still wondered why king Franlin came instead of Aiden, maybe he was too chicken.
Andy was childish enough to think that.
His men made a line of horses and carts riding back to the city. He saw the king and his men leave, it was pointless now, it was to late for them.
Andy chuckled, another victory.
He roamed through the village searching for anyone who was left behind and he spotted a little kid running and screaming. Andy jumped of Saphira, grabbed the edge of a building and slid down the wall climbers plant. His armor was made for this kind of stuff, The hand palms were covered with leather and the tops were fingerless.
He glided against a pole and used it to knock down and land on the gournd. He landed safely on his feet.
Quickly her ran to the child who was in panic, Andy could see why, he was almost swallowed by fire. Without stopping Andy ran by him and picked him up bridal style. He jumped on a hay stack and on top of a guard post. "SAPHIRA." He yelled and she came exactly on time for him to jump on and fly away, leaving the village behind.
The little boy stopped crying and started looking around with those big round eyes of amazement.
Andy smiled and ruffled his hair. "Are you okay, buddy?" The kid nodded. He looked like 4 or 5 and had light brown hair with green eyes. Andy was going to search for his mother at the city for sure.

Aiden stomped in the door to Franlin's office. "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED."
He yelled more than asked.
"Sit down, boy, NOW." The king said emotionless.
"NO, I want to now what happened out there, why did you leave?!" The king laughed.
"Because it was to late, they already had everyone and we were out numbered." His voice was calm, but dangerous.
Aiden sat down on the chiar infront of the kings desk. "We had a deal." Aiden started. "She refuses to even talk to me and you seem like you don't even want to help me." Aiden had his chin in his palm.
"I don't." He laughed.
