Almost Unbreakable

A Few Heartbeat's Away

"Oh my god.." Daisy breathed out as we walked into the court house. We were late and the judge and our friends were already in the court room.

"We're getting married." I said, smiling at her. I wrapped my arm around her waist and she pressed in my side as we fastly walked towards the building. The air was thick with August heat. I opened the door for her and she walked in. I took her hand and we walked in the court room.

"Ah finally." The Judge said, laughing softly. I was shocked to see it was the same one that had handled Daisy's case. We offered him easy smiles.

"Sorry, your honor. We hit some traffic." I said, looking around at all of our friends and family. Ella, Sammi, Jake, Jinxx, Ashley, CC, Danny, Matt, Patrick, Joe, and my parents. These were all the people we needed. This was the wedding of my dreams, small and with the woman and people I love.

"It's fine." He waved us off, "Are you ready for this?"

"Yes sir." We both said at the same time. I smiled and grabbed her hand. I glanced at my parents to see my mother crying, holding my fathers arm.

"We are gathered here today to witness the union of Andrew Dennis Biersack, and Daisy Alena Jenkins. If anyone has reason to object to this marriage please speak now." Only silence was heard and I breathed out a sigh of relief. Part of me was afraid someone was going to burst through the doors like I had all those months ago. "Well, I believe Andrew and Daisy have prepared vows for each other so.." The judge smiled at us as we turned to each other, and I grabbed both of her hands. I let my eyes slide down her slim body, drinking in the beautiful black dress that hung off her limbs.

"Daisy, you never left my mind. From the moment I met you and now every day you've been the first thing I thought about when I woke up and the last thing when I went to bed. You've had my heart from day one, and I promise you will always have it. We have been through a lot together but none of that will ever get in our away again. I love you forever and always."

Daisy wiped away a few of her tears and she smiled, "I have always loved you. From the moment me and my preppy, private school friends walked into the tiny club in downtown Cincinnati and I saw you leaning against the bar, fake I.D. in hand, sorry Chris and Amy," Everyone chuckled and I smiled, rubbing her knuckles. "I knew that I was your's for the rest of my life. Little did I know that wasn't going to always be possible but now that it is.." She shook her head, holding back tears. "I'm so happy. I will love you until the day I die and beyond that, Andy. Forever and always."

"Alright," The judge smiled at us, "Andy the rings?" I quickly grabbed three rings out of my pocket. One was a sparkly, diamond engagement ring, and the other two were silver wedding bands. Mine was thick with her name etched into it and her was thinner with my name on it. "Now, repeat after me. I Andy."

"I Andy."

"Take you, Daisy."

"Take you, Daisy."

"To be my lawfully wedded wife." I smiled, at her.

"To be my lawfully wedded wife."

"To have and to hold." I glanced at my everyone around the room to see them all smiling widely at us.

"To have and to hold."

"Through sickness and in health, for rich or for poor."

"Through sickness and in health, for rich or for poor."

"For the rest of my life."

"For the rest of my life." I said, a little softer sliding the two rings on her fingers. Her eyes glistened with tears.

"Okay, now Daisy. Repeat after me. I Daisy." The judge said.

"I Daisy."

"Take you, Andy."

"Take you Andy."

"To have and to hold."

"To have and to hold."

"Through sickness and in health, for rich or for poor."

"Through sickness and in health, for rich or for poor."

"For the rest of my life."

"For the rest of my life." She slid the ring on my finger and let out a happy sob.

"By the power invested in me of the state of California, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." I leaned in and crashed my lips to her's and she smiled.

"I love you." I whispered against her mouth.

"I love you too."
