Almost Unbreakable

Daisy and I stepped out of the car and started walking into the restaurant we were having our 'reception' in. We had rented out the whole back room.

I leaned in and placed a small kiss on Daisy's cheek before entering. The hostess smiled at us. "Can I help you?" She asked.

"We're the bride and groom." I said, chuckling.

"Oh! Follow me!" She said, leading us to a room in the back. Everyone was already inside.

"Hey!" Ashley laughed. Daisy smiled, her hand resting on her stomach and I remembered what we had to say before anything else.

"Hey man." I said, hugging him. We walked back to our seats, I'm between my parents to see they had already ordered us beers. I immediately stood up and pulled Daisy with me.

"Alright everyone." I said, loudly. The dull roar that flit around the room ceased and I blew out a nervous. "We have something very important to say but first thank you all for being here." Everyone smiled, "Now, some of you already know this, some of you do not. I know my parents don't."

They looked up at us in worry, "What is it, son?" My dad asked.

"Daisy is...pregnant." I said, and I heard a few gasps from Matt and Danny.

My mom let out a sob, and smiled. "We're going to be grandparents!?" Daisy sat back down and hugged her, as she cried.

"Yes." Daisy said, softly.

"That's amazing!" Matt exclaimed. I smiled, sitting down next to my wife and hugged my dad.

"We're so proud of you son." He said, patting my back.

"Thank you." I said.

"To Daisy, Andy, and Little Biersack." CC said, raising his glass. Everyone followed him and clinked bottles, cups, an glasses against each other's and took a sip except for Daisy since she couldn't drink the alcohol.

"What are you thinking for names?" Sammi asked, excitedly. Daisy laughed.

"We don't even know the gender, Sams." She said.

"Well it's never too early to figure it out." Sammi exclaimed, while Ella nodded.

"You could name if after me." Jake winked, sliding his arm around Ella's shoulders.

"Ha-ha." I stuck my tongue out.

"Well when you know the gender I swear to god Andrew if I'm not the first to know I will-" My mom started.

"I know, mom." I groaned, "We'll tell you first."

"Good. When are you due?" She asked.

"May 7th." Daisy said.

"I'm counting down the day's.." Mom shook her head.

"Andy, if it's a boy you have to teach him how to play hockey." My dad said.

"I will." I grinned, "It'll be great."

"When is your next appointment?" My mom asked.

"It's a month away." Daisy said.

"You two better call me.." Mom laughed.

"We will mom!" I chuckled.

"Alright alright. I am just so excited. You have no idea." She held her hands up. Daisy grabbed my arm and smiled up at me.

"We are too."
