Almost Unbreakable

I smoothed out my black blazer, and pencil skirt, and walked out of Andy and I's bathroom. Today was the trial for my parents, Brett, his parents, and their many associates. Somehow, Brett's parents had managed to exit the church fast enough for the police to not be able to arrest them right then, but they caught up to them. Now they were all sitting in jail cells waiting for their lawyers to try and appeal them from spending their lives in prison.

Apparently, my family has been involved with the Gilmores for around ten years. That's why they pushed the marriage so much. They sold and transported illegal drugs to many countries in the UK, Latin America, and Canada. The police had been working on trying to catch them for quite sometime but didn't have a place to arrest all of them until Matt called them and they saw the perfect opportunity.

Now, Andy, the guys, and I all have to attend the trial. Andy and I were asked to speak on what happened to us that past few weeks. We both gladly accepted, knowing it would help put them away forever. Though I was nervous that somehow they were going to evade this like they have apparently done before. Brett is a 'lawyer'...

"You ready, babe?" Andy asked, coming into the bedroom. He looked so handsome in his black suit and tie. His hair was growing a bit longer now, and hanging over one of his eyes.

"Yeah." I sighed, linking my hand with his. We walked out of the apartment, and down the stairs to his car. We both climbed in silently. Andy pressed a button on the stereo and music started blaring through his speakers. Andy had been recording a lot lately, and I looked forward to hearing some of the new stuff the guys were working on.

The song playing now was something I had never heard before, but it was obviously Andy's voice.

"What's this?" I asked.

"New song. It's called Resurrect The Sun." He said, and I leaned back focusing on the lyrics. They were beautiful and I honestly couldn't believe Andy had written them himself. I guess with all of the drama we've had it wasn't too hard for him.

"I love it." I smiled.

"Really?" He asked, "It's just a rough recording but I have to say it's my favorite we have so far."

"It's really great. You never run out of ideas for lyrics do you?" I grinned at him.

"I write based on events in my life." He replied.

"I see." I mused. He reached up to rub my arm.

"Nervous?" He looked worriedly at me.

"A little bit." I said, honestly. "I don't like speaking in front of people. Especially if I have to tell everyone what happened."

"Just look at me the whole time." He smiled.

"Trust me, I will." I leaned my head on his shoulder. We parked in front of the courthouse, and hopped out of the car. He wrapped his arm around me, and pulled me protectively into his side. A few other cars pulled up, and I watched as Jinxx and Sammi got out of one, and Jake and Ella got out of another.

"Hey." Ella said, running over and pulling me into a hug. "How are you doing, girl?"

"I'm better." I smiled, hugging Sammi and the guys as well.

"Ash and C will be here soon. They want us to wait for them." Jinxx said, softly.

"Okay." Andy said, kissing my temple. They arrived in about five minutes, and before I knew it we were all walking inside. A ton of people were in the court room. It was packed. I felt my heart starting to beat faster as Andy and I sat down. His arm rested across my shoulders, and my back pressed against his chest. "Your hearts beating really fast."

"I know." I sighed.

"Don't worry. I'm here." He kissed my ear. I felt more and more nervous until I heard the door to the back of the room open.
