Almost Unbreakable

I placed my keys on Ella and Sammi's counter. It was a long day at work, and I was looking forward to taking a nap. Ella was at work, and Sammi at the grocery store. I sighed, and walked into the guest bedroom I was staying in.

I asked the girls why they didn't live with their boyfriends, and they said it was for times like this. When they were away on tour. Apparently, it's comforting to have someone else with you when your love is far away, but it just makes me feel more distant.

I changed into a pair of athletic shorts, and a Black Veil Brides tee shirt, and laid down on the bed. I slipped my eyes shut, but quickly reopened then when I heard a bang.

"Sammi, Ella?" I called out. No reply. I began to feel nervous, but quickly laid back down.

I had almost fallen asleep when I heard another bang, this time louder. I grabbed my phone, to see I had a text from Andy. It read:

Daisy, I'm coming home right now. Call me as soon as you get this. It's important.

I tried to dial his number, but all of the sudden I heard another bang, this time I ran out to see Ella, and Sammi's door was kicked down. Two guys came in side by side, and behind him was the brown head of hair from nightmares. Brett.

I started breathing heavily, angrily. "What the Hell do you think your doing? Who are these people!?"

"Awh, Daisy thought she could hide." Brett shook his head. I cowered back from him, his voice menacing. I realized I left my phone in the bedroom, and felt helpless. These men were twice my size.

"W-what are you doing here?" I asked, as his finger skimmed my cheek.

"You see, Daisy, it's not that I want to marry you. At all. There are much more attractive girls out there I could get my hands on. It's that I have to marry you. You see our families do a great deal of business together." He twirled a piece of my hair, and I yanked away, in turn running into the men behind me. "Business, that needs our families to be locked together. The only we can ensure that is, you guessed it, a marriage."

"Please, just leave me alone." I felt tears coming on, and all of the sudden the men wrapped their hands around my arms. "Let go of me." I struggled against them, as they pushed me forward, out of the apartment. "STOP!" I screamed. One man covered my mouth with his hand. They carried me down the stairs, as I screamed against the hand, and struggled, desperately trying to get free.

Tears evenly flowed out of my eyes now, and just at the bottom of the stairs, Brett turned to me. His hand drifted to my neck, where Andy's dog tags rested. He smirked.

"Guess you won't be needing these anymore, princess." He ripped them off of my neck, snapping the chain. I gasped when I saw the same white truck that had pulled out after me. They shoved me in the back, and tied my hands with rope, and placed tape over my mouth.

I silently cried, as the truck lurched onto the street. This was it, I'd never be able to see Andy again.
