Almost Unbreakable

We were a week into the tour, and I felt myself slowly falling away without Daisy in my arms. We talked everyday, and never lost connection but it wasn't the same. She told me she hadn't seen anything of Brett, and for that I was thankful. I don't know what I would do if he hurt her without me there..

The guys, and I were all sitting in a bar in Dublin, Ireland. My phone was resting in my lap, and buzzed every few seconds with a message from Daisy. Every time, I got on stage I felt a longing for my Daisy to be watching. I missed everything about her.

"Penny for your thoughts, Andy?" CC asked, tilting his beer back into his mouth.

"I miss Daisy." I said, taking a long drag of my cigarette. "A lot."

"We'll be back in no time." Jinxx said, clapping his hand on my shoulder. Ashley, and Jake nodded.

"I hope." I shook my head. "I'm gonna go outside, I need some fresh air." I hopped off of the stool, and walked out of the bar into the cool air. I finished my fag, and stomped it out. I was about to go back in, but I heard a conversation from the alley behind the bar. I poked my head around the corner, to see a few guys standing there.

They seemed to be beating another guy repeatedly, and I had the instinct to break it up, but something told me not too.

On the back of one of the guys jackets, it said Gilmore industries. I racked my brain for why that last name sounded so familiar.

"Jared, you never paid us." The man said, shaking his head looking down at the guy who I assumed to be Jared.

"I'm sorry," He had a thick Irish brogue, "I don't have the money, right now."

"Oh," The guy said, "Well Mr. Gilmore, and Mr. Jenkins isn't going to like that, now is he?" Jenkins...Daisy's last name.

"Forget Mr. Gilmore, it's Brett you'll have to worry about. He handles his buisness personally." Another guy said.

"When he isn't back in Los Angeles, taking care of some other buisness. A bratty fiancé." The main guy smirked. I felt shock settle to the core of my chest. Brett Gilmore. Daisy's ex-fiancé.

I ran back into the bar, and was greeted by worried looks on everyone's faces. "What's wrong?" Jinxx asked.

"It's Brett." I shook my head, unable to conjure up any words.

"Daisy's ex-fiancé?" My eyes widened when Ashley spoke her name.

"Shit, Daisy!" I shouted, "We have to go. She isn't safe, I need to get back to California!"

"Dude, what about the tour?" Jake exclaimed.

"Fuck the tour, Daisy needs me right now." I ran out of the bar, the guys soon following after me.

"Andy what's happening?" Jinxx asked.

"I think Daisy, and Brett's families are in more shit than she knew."
