An Unexpected Love

Brittany’s POV

Like last night, the kiss soon became heated. His hands left my hair and went down to my hips, pulling me closer to him. I started to trace the outline of his chest, and he shivered under my touch. I went to his back and dragged my fingernails over his back and he moaned into the kiss. His mouth left mine, but it was soon on my neck.

“You’re driving me insane. You know that?” He whispered against my skin. I shivered.

“You know you’re doing the same to me?” He soon found my sweet spot on my neck and he started to suck on it. I moaned and brought my leg up to go around his waist. His hand left my hip and went down my leg until he reached my knee and held my leg there. I pushed him until he was on his back and not his side. I had my knees positioned on either side of his waist. His mouth had left my neck, so I pressed mine onto his. He started to tug on my shirt, so I sat up and let him take it off. That’s when I realized what I was doing.

“Stop. Ashley stop.” He looked at me, confused, and I moved off of him and instead laid beside him. I pulled the sheet over myself, considering I felt self conscious.

“What’s wrong?”I looked him in the eyes.

“Ashley I…I don’t just want to be another woman, ok? I know, that’s sounds harsh, but you have to prove to me that I won’t be.” I found my shirt and climbed over Ashley to get it. I pulled it on and climbed out of the bunk. I had my back to it so he wouldn’t see the tears pouring from my eyes. “I’m sorry.” I walked out to the ‘living room’ and found Jinxx sitting and watching the T.V. with a cup of coffee. He turned and smiled, but then his face soon turned too concerned when he saw the tears.

“Brittany? Brittany, what’s wrong?” I went over and sat down next to Jinxx. I looked him in the eyes.

“Are you the only one awake?” He nodded. I took a deep breath and let it out. “I almost had sex with Ashley just now. I-I stopped, because I didn’t want to be just another woman. I-I think I hurt him with what I said, but I didn’t mean to! I…I feel…something pulling me toward him. I know it sounds crazy since I technically didn’t meet him until yesterday, but I have always felt like I wanted to be near him. I’m just…so confused.” Jinxx pulled me into a hug.

“You know, that sounds like something Andy was telling me last night. About what Ash said.” I pulled away.

“You’re not just saying this to make me feel better, are you?” He shook his head.

“No. I’m not. Listen, we are going to be in L.A. today. Why don’t you get a change of clothes on and we can keep talking about this? It will give you time to calm down and think of everything rationally. Ok?” I blushed.

“That would be ok if…I hadn’t lost my clothing while backstage waiting on Andy and Ashley…” He looked at me, confused.

“How did you lose your clothing?” I squirmed.

“Well, uh…my cameraman and I are both huge fans so we left the area where we were supposed to interview them and watched the show. Luckily, it had only been my clothes and not his camera.”

“I’m sure we have something you can borrow until we get to your place.” I nodded, then leaned over and hugged him.

“Thanks Jinxx.” He hugged me back.

“No problem. After all, what’s a momma for?” We both started laughing at that one. Andy then walked in. “Look what the cat drug in.”

“I wouldn’t be awake if two people would learn to keep it down…” I blushed. Then my phone went off.I looked at the caller I.D. Avery. Jinxx and Andy were joking around, and I realized the bus had come to a stop. Probably for some gas. I stepped off and answered the phone.

“Hey Avery! What’s up?”

“Man, I am so jealous! I wish I could have come! How was the interview? Did you meet CC?” I laughed. This girl was hung over CC like I was hung over Ashley.

“Yes. And the interview was great. I wish you could have come as well, the cameraman I had was a real stick in the mud. We could have used your sense of humor and sarcasm.”

“Got that right. Nobody can replace this camerawoman. So um…the reason I’m calling…” She paused.

“What’s wrong? Did something happen? Are you ok?”

“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine. It’s well…your landlord called me yesterday. Ordered me to move your stuff out. I did, and it’s all sitting here at my place. Do you need somewhere to crash?” I hesitated, thinking about Ashley’s offer last night. Did it still stand after what happened this morning?
