An Unexpected Love

Brittany’s POV
I woke up to my phone ringing and I groaned. I brought it up to my face and blinded myself.
“Fucking a!” I squinted and looked at the screen. Ashley. “Hello?” My voice sounded really groggy. I heard a chuckle.
“Hey beautiful.”
“Ashley what the hell? It’s like,” I pulled the phone away from my ear and checked the time. “Eleven fifty P.M.!”
“I know. I wanted to hear your sexy voice.” I blushed. Thank God he couldn’t see me.
“My voice isn’t sexy right now, Ashy.”
“Yeah it is. Morning voice is sexy.” I blushed deeper and sat up. The T.V was off, and I was covered with a blanket, so I guessed Avery found me at some point.
“Were you bored?”
“Yup.”
“Face time me.”
“Ok.” He hung up and a couple seconds later I got a Face time call from Ashley. I answered it and smiled.
“I like this better.” I brought my knees to my chest and stared at his face.
“So do I. Now I get to hear your voice and see your face.” I giggled. There was a bang.
“What was that?”
“I have no idea. That’s actually what woke me up. Pissed me off, but I figured I shouldn’t be the only one up.”
“So you called me.”
“No. I called Andy first.” He smirked.
“So glad I’m your second call. I’m honored.” The sarcasm was evident in my voice, and I smiled.
“I’m kidding. You were my first call.” I smirked.
“Knew it.”
“Your amazing, you know that?” I blushed and looked down.
“I’m not that amazing,” I mumbled.
“Yes you are. Come on, look at me.” I looked at him through my hair.
“Yes?”
“Don’t doubt yourself.” I blushed deeper and looked down.
“I’m not doubting myself…”
“Yes you are. You’re beautiful, amazing, and incredible. Don’t ever doubt that for a second.” I looked back up again.
“T-thanks.”
“Why do you sound so surprised?”
“Truth?”
“What else?” he smirked. I sighed.
“Nobody really has told me that before. Well, Avery tells me stuff like that, but not in that way!” I quickly added. He just kinda chuckled. “Ashy?”
“Yeah?”
“I’m tired.” I yawned and he laughed.
“Ok. Good night, B.Y.”
“Good night, Ashy.” I kissed the screen then hung up. I settled back down on the couch, to tired to move. Soon, sleep overtook me again.
