When Darkness Is All You See..

I got in the back of the ambulance as I gripped on desis hand for dear life. There where tubes running threw her nose an mouth, and IV cords hooked up to her arms. I could only cry as andy was right beside me, just sitting there in shock, trying to comfort me and desi.

As Ashley and Juliet hoped into Ashley's truck, we raced threw the streets in the car, as medicals gave her shots and attempted to clean and patch up the wounds with the appliances thy had. I was crying so hard my vision began to blur.

Everything was happening so quickly I couldn't process it. First we where at the mall, Ashley shopping for desi, and then I walk into my bathroom to see her pretty much lifeless in Ashley's arms. Before I knew it the gurney was being pulled out of the truck, and we all raced to catch up to it, as the nurses hollered for help and attempted to find her a room. As I looked into desis eyes, I could see we emotions. Hurt, fear, and she's clinging on for dear life.

I could tell in her eyes that she was in pain. It made me hurt just thinking that she would cause this pain to herself. I always thought she was happy. She was always smiling, always laughing and always wanting to have fun. I guess I was wrong- far wrong.

I never new that she was so depressed into inflicting pain on herself. As they hauled her in a room and slammed the door in our faces. The only thing that had me from running in there after my bestest friend was Andy's strong tattooed arms. I was crying and screaming and flailing.

"Andy let me go!! I have to see if she's okay! I have to be there!" I sobbed seeing it was no use and gave in. I sobbed in Andy's chest as his arms wrapped tightly around me. "Shh... It's okay.. She's going to be okay.. I promise." He grabbed my chin so I was looking into the most deadly Concerned eyes and I could only nod as I cried.

"Get the fuck off me! I have to see her!" I heard Ashley holler as I turned to see that there was a pack of doctors on him. Then they stuck a syringe into his arm and he lost consciousness. The doctor who did it approached andy and I, told his sorrys to andy for sticking Ashley with the needle. "I'm sorry, but he was to out of control." He told me. Andy only nodded in understanding.

I didn't know that vampires could also get drugged..? "It's fine, really. He needed a break anyways. Can you please just get me a mattress so he can rest out in the hallway?" Andy asked as the doctor nodded and went on the get what andy asked for.

Moments later the doctor came back with a roll away bed and the nurses helped Ashley's sleeping body on it. I hope they don't notice how cold he is..! I could only sit on Andy's lap, as he rocked me back and forth and tried to soothe me. Juliet paced the hallway, probably as anxious as me, to find out if des is going to be okay.

"Juliet. How did this happen?" I cried out and she had tears in her eyes as well as she answered me. "I- I don't know.. I was watching a movie with her, then she wanted to take a shower. I didn't think twice about it. Then Ashley came running in." She sobbed. We spent minutes, probably a few hours just waiting.

I dared not go to sleep, but andy did fall asleep either. He rubbed circles on my back, attempting to make me sleepy, but it's not going to work. Juliet lay sleeping a couple seats down, and Ashley lay down sawing logs as he dreamt of nothing, most likely.

"Babe.." Andy cooed in my ear. I could only groan in reply. "You need to get some sleep. I swear to god if a doctor comes out of that door, I will tell you an make sure your up." "I can't.. I need to stay up." I yawned. "Please? For me? I promise I will get you up." "Promise?" I croaked, tears threatening to fall. "I promise." He told me.

"Pinky promise?" I asked. He knows that pinky promises are the real deal. As he held out his pinky, I held my out and we linked them together. As I felt relief, as I snuggled into Andy's chest, and he kissed my forehead. As my eyes began to get heavier by the second, I dreamt of darkness.
