When Darkness Is All You See..

(Juliet's pov) I was walking back to the car after I stomped my cigarette out. Alexander just pretty much vanished without saying anything. He scares the living hell out of me, but I sorta like it. I guess it's the whole master/child thing. I feel I can trust him, even though I don't know him.

I just hope that I meet him again soon. I hop into the car, Kelley and Desi in conversation about something that I was not paying attention of. Instead, I take out my iPod, and blast slayer threw my headphones, me lost in thought of who my master was.

He seemed strange, and only we stared at each other unfiltered he ran off. He was especially looking over my shoulder at the car. Then I felt one of of my ear buds being pulled out. "Hey, me and Andy are going on a date tonight, and Ashley is busy at the music shop. So you and Desi will have the entire house to yourselves." She smiled at me, and it took every piece of me not to growl at her, but I put on a fake smile.

"Great! I can get to know her better!" I exclaimed, putting enthusiasm in my voice. Tonight was my chance in success for hurting Desi. This is perfect. I grin just thinking about what I can do for tonight.

"Juliet! I'm getting in the shower! Can you please pick out a movie for us to watch?" Desi hollered from the bathroom. "Uh, sure!" I Hollered back not ring able to keep the grin from my face. As I heard the door shut, now was time to put my plan in motion. I have to have little fun first before I do it.

I easily slide into bathroom door, and lock it behind me. I easily pealed off all of my clothing and undergarments swiftly, and I rattled the shower glass with my nails as I heard a gasp from inside the steaming hot shower.

"Jesus, Juliet! You scared the living shit out if me!" She giggled, as my face held my smirk that I have had from all night. I let my eyes flicker a goldenrod brown, and then her face turned from friendly, to lust full. I stepped into the shower next to her, and I gave her a wicked grin which she returned.

My fingers entwined into her long dark hair, as I grazed myself close to her, removing space between us. I shoved her up against the wall as her legs wrapped around my hips, and I could already feel her wetness on my lower abdomen.

'Come one Juliet, this bitch has to pay for trying to take your Andy!' And then I just snapped. I turned to the shower and opened up the curtains, earning a shriek from Desi. I grabbed her by the throat as she whimpers in protest. I

throw her against the bathroom tile as a tear escapes her.

"Ashley...h-help!"

Oh shit, I forgot that mates have connection telepathically if they are in danger. I grasp onto her neck even more. In my other hand I spot the razor that I used on myself not more that 2 weeks ago.

I grabbed it. And gave her a blow to head with the wall behind her. Then Her world went dark. Her eyelids looked heavy. I took that as an advantage. I started slashing her wrist with all of my strength, and oh my.. So much blood.

And on her second wrist, I did the exact same thing, knowing that that would kill her. But I had to make it look like she did it. She was already passed out by the amount of blood she lost. She's pretty much drowning in her own pool of blood on the bathroom floor. I took her thigh, and started slashing away.

I look at my work. With my super speed, I knew that I did over 500 gashes just to her wrist. Her eyes slowly shut, and I hope that they never open. I breathed out heavily. It worked. She's finally dead.. She communicated with Ashley about 20 seconds ago.

Because of my new vampiric speed, I am able to clean up the bathroom with my things (and dry my hair in the process) I shut and locked the bathroom door from the inside, with the water still running, and where desis body remains.

As I speed into the living room, turn the movie on half way threw, and bundle myself up with blankets, the door bursts open. It's time to put your game face on, I thought to myself. I look up quickly like I didn't expect it. With wild eyes, it was Ashley, breathing really heavy as his chest heaves.

"Where's.. Destiny?" He pants out of breathe.

There is a look of wild in his eyes. "She's in the bathroom. Why? Is everything okay?" I shot out of the couch on Ashley's trail as he makes his way into the bathroom connected to Kelleys room. I pretend to act concern, I am wide eyed, and close behind Ashley as he is.

"Ashley, what's going on?" I told him again making him think that I want to know. "Destiny reached out to me telepathically asking for help. And I sensed in her mind that she was in trouble, but I don't know what. I think she might be hurt." His voice was on auto pilot. I knew that she was more than hurt, but I kept the grin back.

"Destiny? Baby?" Ashley choked out as he knocked on the door of the bathroom, the shower running in the back round. "Des?" I question, trying to sound more stupid than I really am, because I think it's working. Ashley is paying no attention. "Destiny. Open the door." His voice cracking as he spoke out, I could see tears leaking threw his eyes.

Before I could attempt anything else I saw Ashley's arm fly threw the door and unlocking it. He bursted threw and then I heard him yell loudly.

"No!!!! DESTINY!" I came running in threw behind him, and I saw Ashley on the floor, sobbing, as he held Desi in his hands, as her time slowly ticked away. "ANDY!!!" Ashley screached. I put on a show of fake tears. And started shaking my head.

"This can't be happening.. This can't be happening..." Ashley only looked up at me, and sobbed. "This can't be happening.."

(Kelleys pov)

Me and Andy walked hand in hand threw the mall as I did earlier witch Desi, only we where best friend hand holding. As we met Ashley back at the food court. He was looking in a long tiny box that he had purchased.

"Hey man, what you get des?" Andy asked as we approaches our friend. "Well, since she's new to me and finding out that I'm a "blood sucking demon"" he used finger quotes,

"I bought her this necklace that I hoped she would like. Do you wanna see it?" Ashley asked, and Andy pretty much barked his ass off wanting to see it. With one click of the box I was revealed a beautiful thin silver necklace with silver studs and in the middle, a red ruby sat by the other golden diamonds.

"Wow.." Andy held his mouth open, as I smiled at the thought of seeing desis face light up like a Christmas tree.

"She's going to love this ash." I told him as I met eyes with the tall brown eyes man. But his eyes held something different. Concern? Fear? Sadness. I could see his facial structures as he just looked straight, not thinking of anything. It's almost like his mind went blank.

"Hey.. Are you okay?" I asked and he only looked straight as he shook his head no. "Hey man, what's wrong?" Andy said, and Ashley said one thing that made I'm run as fast as he can, pretty much waking him up in reality. "Destiny!" He hollered, running out of the mall like a maniac, as we grabbed the empty jewelry box, and bags he forgot, we knew something was wrong.

Me and Andy raced outside to the mall, and then we realized- shit Ashley just ran off, but he left his truck here. We throw all of the things we purchased into the back and hop into Ashley's truck, he was probably on foot the way he ran out. "Shit.." Andy groaned as he looked around.

"Is everything okay?" I asked trying to speed up the process. "We have to hot wire." He told me. "Okay, just hurry. I think something wrong, and very wrong. I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach."

Within two minutes we where at the house, thanks to Andy's amazing driving (He almost ran over 3 people). Right when we step off the elevator I heard a piercing scream.

"ANDY!!!" And that's bad if we can hear it, because my apartments all the way down the hallway. We ran all the way down the hall, until we got to my room. Then I bursted in the back going to where I heard the noises.

I didn't even wait for Andy. I went to my room and looked to see that my bathroom door was smashed, with a hole threw it. I grabbed it and opened it, looking at the sight before me, as I gasped in breathe.

Juliet crying her eyes out, not sure what to do, Ashley weeping loudly on the floor, holding the what looks like the lifeless body of my bloodied up best friend. "No!!!!" I screamed as loud as I can. I went to go jump to her side and to kick Ashley off so I can mourn her, but a set of strong muscular arms kept me from doing so.

As I wept for my best friend my head hurt so bad, how did this happen? I cried in Andy's hoodie. Then, everything around me stopped. Everybody's crying, the yelling, all that was left was the hot water running. "Destiny?!" Ashley croaked out as I turn to see what was going on.

"Ashley.. Help" the voice that did it was female, but was not mine nor Juliet's. The voice was so quit I didn't even here it happen. "Help.." Then she passed out completely.

Everybody's face was expression, so much expression. Then Ashley swooped Desi up into his arms, and went running. He bolted threw us. "Come on! We need to get her to the hospital!" Ashley hollered at us as we races down the halls of the apartments, and we all rode down the elevator, waiting for it to open, so I can save my best friends life.
