Andy rushed forward, his main focus being Lily but soon his path was blocked by a sword and the Demon who was wielding it. Davanix in all of his blonde haired green eyed human glory was standing in front of Andy, smirking evilly as he held up his sword and brought it down towards Andy. The younger Demon grunted as he held up one sword and then spun quickly as he unsheathed the other sword and thrust it out behind him and into the gut of the Demon who thought he could sneak up on Andy.

The two Demons-master and apprentice began to fight in earnest while the rest of the room exploded around them in loud noises and shouts. As Andy spun around, the sword coming within inches of his neck, his blue eyes scanned the room to find Lily and he felt his heart soar as he noticed that she was breathing and that she had moved her head up to lean against the back of the chair she was tied to.


“An-Andy?” Lily spoke softly but his Demon hearing picked up her soft voice and Andy longed to run to her-to untie her from her bindings.

“Oh lover boy is very busy right now dear Lily…” A voice hissed in her ear and Lily cringed as she felt a sharpness across the skin of her bared shoulder and Lily cried out loudly. Andy looked her way and the Demon he was fighting took the distraction to his advantage and suddenly Andy was flat on his back with blood dripping down his right cheek.

“No!” Lily yelled, her voice weak but she could still be heard from those who were close to her.

“Oh yes my darling. It seems as if hurting you will prove to be Andy’s undoing-perhaps I should just finish you off now and save him the trouble of mourning you later.” Lattie’s nasty voice was in her ear and Lily felt the hot tears hit her cheeks as she watched Andy jump up and continue to fight.


Lily looked around and noticed that all of the guys were fighting and some of them looked like they had already been in one hell of a fight. Jinxx was missing some hair, CC had a black eye and looked like he was about to get another.Jake and Ash were both holding their own, but Lily really couldn’t focus on any of them-she was too busy watching Andy. He was like lightening as he spun around, both her sword and his held high above his head as he brought them both down, crossing his arms over his chest and he had impaled two Demons in one fell swoop. That was three Demons down and six to go. Lily struggled against her bindings, hoping that she could get them loose enough so that she could break free to join the guys in their fighting. Lattie was still standing next to her and Lily could tell that the female Demon was longing to join the fray.


“You could get out there you know-why let the boys have all the fun?” Lily said, her voice low and she cried out as a hand came out and smacked her across the cheek.She spat blood out down by her feet and glared up at the Demon who obviously wanted to see her dead.

“You need to shut your mouth before I gag you and hopefully then you’ll choke on your own spit.” Lattie threatened and Lily only rolled her eyes as she tried to loosen her bindings without drawing attention to herself.

“Why don’t we just stop this fighting and head out for some Chinese food or something? I mean we can work through this using our words…” Lily stopped talking as Lattie glared down at the human girl and suddenly Lily smiled. That smile grew wider and wider and soon Lattie held a confused look on her face until finally she turned to face what Lily was seeing.


Andy. He had broken away from the fight, the Demon he had been battling was on the ground, nursing a wound to the right arm and now Andy was looking down at the two girls with a deadly gleam in his eyes. Lattie looked up, her bright green eyes terrified and Andy said nothing as he raised a hand and let the back fall against her cheek and he smirked as she went flying to the floor. Lily looked up at him, her lavender eyes relieved as Andy moved to the back of the chair she was bound to and with a quick movement of his sword her bindings were severed and Lily was on her feet.

Andy said nothing as he touched her cheek, her drying blood coating his fingers and soon he had an arm around her waist and she felt herself being brought closer to him. She lost her breath as Andy smashed his lips against hers and Lily melted against him. Suddenly his face was only inches away from hers and she smiled up at Andy-her savior.


“Andy I-“

“Lily I lov-“


Both of them were interrupted by a loud cry from across the room and Andy spun around, growling as he took a defensive stance in front of her and Lily felt her heart stop. The Demon that Andy had been fighting was back on his feet and coming at the two of them fast. Andy bent down and placed a kiss against her forehead before he ran forward and spun on his heel. Lily watched as her sword flew through the air and she raised a hand and caught it, crouching low to the ground as she heard someone’s shoes crunching on the broken glass behind her and Lily spun around to face her new foe.

Lattie-again.


“Jesus! Why can’t you just fuck off already?!” Lily asked as she raised the sword above her head and brought it down on the one that was clasped in Lattie’s hands.

“Oh fuck you-pathetic human that you are…be prepared to meet a slow and painful death.” Lattie said as she moved to thrust her sword at Lily but she was blocked.

“Oh poor Lattie-Demon girl that no one loves…not even your twin brother is over here trying to protect you!” Lily screamed as she ran at the Demon girl and soon the two were fighting one another fiercely.


Lily dove around, her sword held out in front of her just as Andy had instructed and she felt powerful in that moment. Lattie was giving her a run for her money, but the two girls were equally matched and Lily felt a pride well up within herself as she dodged around and Lattie missed getting her shoulder by less than an inch. Lily brought down her sword and smirked as Lattie screamed out-Lily had caught her across the back of her shoulders and was now hoping that the bitch would be unable to lift up her own sword.

Her smile soon disappeared as Lily looked around and saw that while there were only three Demons left including Lattie-Andy seemed to be struggling to keep up his end of the fight. Jinxx was over in a corner, holding an arm against his chest while CC was taking off his belt to wrap around the guitarist’s now injured arm. Jake and Ashley were both fighting off a very large Demon and Lily yelled in triumph as she watched the oversized Demon fall down-his head rolling towards her with a death grimace plastered on his ugly face.Lily spun around and cried out as she felt a pain fire up across her abdomen.


“Remember what I said about letting your guard down Lily…” Lattie laughed as she stood above Lily, a sick smirk on her face. She couldn’t breathe and as Lily looked down she wanted to cry out-she had been sliced right across her stomach and now her blood was flowing freely down her bare legs.

“An…Andy…”Lily moaned as she fell to her knees, her sword still clutched in her hand as Lattie hovered over her.

“Oh honey…he’s not going to save you. He’s probably going to die here soon and just think-the two of you can come down to Hell together and be with one another for eternity.” Lattie said and Lily felt the tears come to her eyes as she thought over the past eight months.


Andy had saved her from an afterlife of miserable reflection on what she had done to herself. But she had also saved him-she had taught him how to be himself and Lily knew that Andy would forever be grateful for what she had done for him. She held her free hand against her stomach and looked up as Lattie laughed and sneered at her. She took in a deep breath and with her sword still clenched in her fist, Lily thrusted upwards and smirked as a loud gasp filled the silent air of the room.

Her sword had met it’s mark-Lattie fell forward, the sword lodged in her neck as she fell to her knees and was now face down on the floor, her bright green eyes staring blankly out in front of her as she gurgled lowly. Lily fell down herself, her hand still clutching her stomach as her vision began to darken and she met Lattie’s eyes and watched as the Demon took her last breath and then faded in to nothing.


“…bitch…” Lily muttered with a smirk as she felt herself begin to drift.


Andy looked down at Davanix-his sword was clutched in his hands, the Demon’s blood dripping down from his fingertips as he looked down on what used to be his mentor. Andy had finished him and as he looked around he felt proud-they had all survived. His heart stopped as he was unable to spot Lily. Finally as he turned to the left Andy noticed Lily’s white blonde hair against the dark floor and he dropped his sword as he ran over towards the girl.

He looked down at her, tears coming to his eyes as he noticed the huge gash across her stomach. Her pale skin was ghostly as she looked up at him-those lavender eyes soft as they connected with his. He cried out as he fell to his knees and Andy reached out to grab Lily and bring her closer. He cradled her against his chest, sobbing softly into her hair as he rocked her back and forth-Andy didn’t even notice that his bandmates had formed a circle around the couple.


“Lily…please baby…please hold on…” Andy sobbed, his tears falling down on to her face and Lily smiled up at him softly. He had never cried before and she couldn’t help but think that he was even sexier with tears streaming down his cheeks than she thought he would be.

“I’m calling 911!” Jake said as he pulled out his cell phone and walked off slightly. Andy couldn’t move, he couldn’t even breathe as he held Lily and he inhaled deeply as he gazed down at her.

“Lily-listen to me. You can’t die. You can’t because I-I love you Lily! I love you so much it hurts to think of you not being there for me. Please…please baby…please hang in there for me…” Andy sobbed as he placed his lips against hers-they were ice cold and her teeth were chattering.

“Andy-I…I love you too. S-s-so much…” She was shaking and even though he knew she was dying, Andy felt his hear soar. She loved him!

“Lily…I wrote a song for you. Do you want me to sing it to you?” He asked, sniffling his tears away as Lily smiled at him softly and then he felt her nod her head. Andy cleared his throat and he locked eyes with her and then he began to sing, his voice tear laced as Lily felt herself fading.

I open my lungs dear
I sing this song at funerals... no rush.
