Pissed Off And Playful
After twelve and half long hours, Dess was finally happy to hear the announcement that their flight had landed. She looked over at Sammi, smiling as she saw that the older girl had fallen asleep and she reached over and shook Sammi’s shoulder gently.Dess gathered her things, her sketchpad and iPod going in her small carryon as Sammi did the same. Dess watched as Andy stood, stretching his long arms above his head as he looked over his shoulder to peek at her. Dess felt her lips draw into a thin line as she caught his eye and she just shook her head.
“Ready to head over to the hotel?” Sammi asked as the two girls began to exit the plane, all of the guys in the band hanging back to let them go first.
“Yeah, I wouldn’t mind napping before their show tonight.” Dess said and she yawned to prove her point. Sammi had slept on the plane, but Dess had found it difficult as she just kept running different situations through her head.
“You still want to go tonight?” Sammi asked, her voice doubtful as the two girls entered the line for customs and Dess just smirked.
“I told him I wasn’t going to let him ruin my fun and I meant it.” She crossed her arms over her chest as Dess moved forward and began the process to get through customs.
The guys joined them in the line, which thankfully moved quickly and soon the large group had gathered around a small moving carousel to wait for their bags. Dess watched for her large suitcase and smaller duffle and raised an eyebrow as she saw it and then saw Andy reach down to pick them both up. She could get her own fucking bags and if he thought by being her knight in shining leather that he was going to make her forgive him then Andy Biersack had another thing coming.
“How was your flight babe?” He asked as Dess moved to face him and looked up to find Andy staring down at her, his eyes soft and his bottom lip pouting out slightly. She reached for her bags and was shocked as Andy handed them over and smiled down at her.
“Peaceful. Your’s?” She asked as they all began to walk and she stiffened as Andy came beside her and wrapped an arm around her waist.
“Lonely. Jinxx is good company, but nothing compared to you. I missed you babe…” He sounded sad. Good. Dess just sighed as they all made their way towards the exit.
Two vans sat outside of the large sliding glass doors and it was quickly decided that Dess, Sammi, and Toby the band’s merch guy, would go to the hotel with all of the bags while the guys headed over to the venue to get the lay of the land. Andy was sad that Dess had chosen to go with Sammi, but he was hopeful that with this time apart maybe she would cool down. As they moved to go their separate ways Andy looked down at Dess and was sad to see that scowl still gracing her beautiful features. Her moss green eyes stared at him vacantly as Andy just moved in and pressed his lips softly to hers.
“You’re still coming tonight right?” He asked as Andy pulled away from their embrace and looked down into her eyes hopefully.
“Yeah, Sammi got the address from Jinxx. Just look for me in the wings.” She smirked up at him, feeling playful in that moment. She loved when he got like this, so vulnerable and it seemed like he would crumble without her there. In a sad way it made Dess feel better-it made her feel needed once again.
“It wouldn’t be the same if you weren’t there…” He smirked down at her as they kissed again, this time things deepened and Andy felt her lips reach out, taking his lip ring between her teeth. He ran his hands through her hair, his fingers rubbing her scalp as she smiled into their kiss.
“Dude! We’ve got plenty of time for you to get some ass later!” Ashley yelled at the couple from the open door and Andy just held up a hand and flicked his bandmate off. He pulled out of their kiss, resting his forehead softly against hers as he watched her smile up at him.
“Maybe I should piss you off more often…” He laughed as she pushed his shoulder and began to walk backwards towards her waiting vehicle.
“Don’t push your luck Biersack!” She called out to him and smiled as he smirked that lopsided grin at her before disappearing into his own van.
Dess got in to the van and looked over at Sammi and saw the other blonde shaking her head softly before turning to look out the window. Dess followed her example, her mouth dropping open as they passed by old buildings that looked more like castles than anything. Germany seemed so beautiful to Dess and she couldn’t wait until the next day to explore with Andy-if he was available. He had gone over roughly what their schedule would be like and while they had days off in almost every country or city, Dess knew that they would also be doing interviews and appearances. Sighing she looked up, noticing that they had stopped in front of another castle like building, but this time the driver got out and began to get their bags from the back.
“I guess we have arrived…” Dess smiled over at Sammi and laughed at the other girls shocked expression.
“In more ways than one it seems.” Sammi smiled to Dess as the two girls got out of the van, pulling their own bags from the pile as they walked through to the lobby.
Crystal chandeliers hung from the tall ceilings and Dess felt her mouth open wide as she looked around her. The lobby looked more like the entryway to a palace, with a set of large marble stairs sitting in the middle of the room and she took in the plush velvet couches and rugs that were scattered around the room. A huge baby grand piano was the vocal point and Dess could hear the soft strains of classical music coming from over towards the piano. Sammi led the way to the desk where there was a friendly looking girl there to help them.
“American.” Sammi said hesitantly and the girl behind the desk smiled brightly, nodding her head as she motioned for another girl to come over. The girls switched places and Dess smiled as she noticed that the new girl who was helping them had a small American Flag pin on her name tag.
“I’m Anna. Are you with the touring party Black Veil Brides?” The girl's English was perfect, thankfully and Dess moved to the side and let Sammi take the lead.
After a few minutes they had been given keys, two apiece and Toby had been given the rest of the keys to the various rooms that the band would be occupying. A short man in a red velvet jacket came up to them, smiling as he reassured them that he would be in charge of their bags and the bags of people who hadn’t showed up yet. Both girls smiled as they handed over their things and headed off in the direction of the elevators. They went up to the seventh floor and as the doors opened both girls sucked in a deep breath.
Everything was beautiful, even the lighting fixtures were gorgeous and Dess was almost worried she was going to get whiplash from swerving her head around so much. Finally they came upon the rooms that they would be sharing with their guys and laughed as they realized that they would be staying across the hall from one another. Dess slipped her key into the lock and inhaled deeply as she walked into the softly lit suite. A king sized bed took up most of the room, but there was also a tall cabinet that held a television and some drawers for their clothing. Peeking her head through a door, Dess saw that the bathroom was huge, with a shower in one corner and a large clawfoot tub sat in the very center.
“Damn…you and Andy hit the jackpot.” A voice came from behind her and Dess turned to find Sammi standing there, a large smirk across her lips.
“Yeah, too bad it’s only for two nights.” Dess smiled as she noticed that her and Andy’s bags had been dropped at the door and she moved to bring them further in to the room.
“So I have an idea…” Sammi said, her smile devilish as Dess stood up and looked over at the older girl, her hands resting on her hips as she waited for Sammi to continue.
“…I think we should get really dressed up for them tonight…make them pay attention to what they’ve been missing out on.” Dess smirked over at Sammi and just nodded her head as the two girls began to go through the clothes that Dess had brought.
Sammi had confessed to Dess on the plane that Jinxx had been distant with her as well, the entire band seemed to be delving in to this record with full force and they were leaving everyone in the dust. Dess felt a kinship with Sammi then and knew that the two of them could lean on one another when times got tough or stressful. Sammi held up a dress suddenly and Dess snapped to attention when she saw which one it was. It was a deep purple number that Dess had yet to wear, but she knew that it fit her perfectly. She only nodded as she grabbed the dress from Sammi and moved to the bathroom to change.
The dress was tight at the top, but right under her bust line it flowed out and was covered in a slightly sparkly gauzy material. Dess knew that Andy would love it and as she moved to run the straightener over her hair Dess smiled to herself. Her eyes were lined darkly, her eyelids smokey and her lips were a bright cherry red as Dess just smirked at herself in the mirror and blew a kiss. She put her Batman ring on her finger, along with a few black leather bracelets that Andy had gotten for her and she moved to exit the bathroom. A pair of high grey pumps with spikes on the heel finished off her outfit and Dess just smiled as she took in what Sammi was wearing.
The dress was black and tight, the back almost non-existent as Sammi twirled around and Dess noticed that she had outlined her eyes in a deep burgundy color which also matched the color of her lips. Sammi wore high shoes just as Dess did, except hers were bright red with small bows on the back. They looked hot and they knew it and now it was just time to wait. Looking at the clock that sat on the bed side table, Dess figured that the boys would be finished with sound check at this point and were probably in their dressing room getting ready. She turned to Sammi and smiled-this was going to be a really fun night.
“We all ready to head out babe?” Sammi asked as Dess just smiled and nodded. As they moved from the room, Dess popped back in to the bathroom and checked her reflection one last time.
She had never really been a girly girl, but tonight Dess felt like being sexy and desirable. It was fun dressing up with Sammi, holding up different outfits and deciding which would look better on each girl and Dess knew that Andy would appreciate her outfit tonight. On the last tour she had been so tired and worried about Moira that Dess really hadn’t felt like taking pride in what she wore, especially by the end and she knew that Andy felt disappointed at her lack of enthusiasm.
The drive over was silent as the girl’s took in their surroundings quietly, but it was very obvious when they reached their destination. The building was huge, but the crowd that wrapped around that building was even bigger and Dess smiled. Groups of teenagers huddled together as they waited to be let in to the building and Dess even saw a lot of older adults waiting as well. The adults were probably here more for Motely than they were BVB, but she knew the boys didn’t care-a fan of music was something to treasure, no matter what the music sounded like.
