Hidden Love
The meet and greet and show were a blast. I love the adrenaline rush I get while playing. It’s amazing. And not to mention I have Ally by my side now. We promised to wait a bit longer before we tell the guys and girls since I just told them about Ella. This is my dream. Playing sold out shows and meeting people who are proud of us and look up to us.
I ran off the stage after finishing the encore and tossing picks into the crowd. I put my guitar away and Ally jumped on me and hugged me.
“You did amazing.” She beamed.
“Haha. Always. I did even better just for you.” I smiled. She got off of me and hugged the rest of the guys. Sammi looked at me and smirked. I flipped her off. I’ve noticed we flip each other off a lot. That’s how we show our love to each other. Haha (a/n: my friend and I hit each other to how our friendship. So similar situations. Haha.)
“Great show guys.” Andy said after catching his breath. We all hugged each other and headed back to the bus. Ally jumped on CC’s back and Lauren jumped on my back.
“Hey CC, I think you just got replaced!” Jinxx yelled. Lauren and I laughed as we ran past CC. Ally was laughing as CC tried catching up with us. I opened the bus door and hid in the back room while Lauren hid in Andy’s bunk. CC came running in with Ally still on his back. Ally hopped off and sat next to me. Out of nowhere CC started laughing. Weirdo much? When everyone got on the bus we all ended up laughing. Lauren popped out of Andy’s bunk and tackled CC with a hug.
“Well that was quite eventful.” Juliet said. I nodded and checked the time. It was 10:30. Wow, time goes by fast. I got up to head to my bunk. I got in and turned on my laptop. I opened pro tools and finished up a project for another band I was helping. Ally came into the bunk around midnight.
“Have fun with the boys and girls?”
“Haha. Yeah, Ashley was being loud and Andy and Juliet went to bed about an hour ago along with Jinxx and Sammi. CC, Lauren, and Ashley are still up though.”
“Well I pray it’s a quiet night. I’m kinda done with Ashley’s girls for a few days.” Ally laughed and pulled the blanket over herself.
“Jake, what if the guys get mad that we’re going out?” Ally asked seriously.
“Well, they’re just going to have to deal with it. It was my decision to ask you out, not theirs.” Allyson’s eyes brightened. I pecked her on the lips before snaking my arm around her waist and holding her close.
“I love you Jake. And I mean it.” I smiled and kissed her goodnight.
“And I love you Allyson.” She blushed and closed her eyes. I waited until I knew she was fully asleep before I fell asleep.
I woke up the next morning to the guys whispering. I slid the curtain slightly open to see them talking by CC and Ashley’s bunks. I listened in with the curtain closed.
“Why didn’t he just marry Ella on the spot?” CC asked.
“Who knows? But have you seen how Ally acts around Jake now? It’s like their dating.” Ashley piped up.
“Nah, Jake wouldn’t be dating again. Not now anyways. A break up like that could take a month or longer to heal from.” Andy said.
“I don’t know. Maybe Jake’s already over Ella. He hasn’t been upset and Allyson has been making him a lot happier.” Jinxx countered.
“Jinxx is right. Jake’s been happier and his normal self since Ally came along. I don’t think we should question anything right now. I say we leave it be for a while. Jake now is a lot better than Jake a month ago.” Ashley said confidently. Point one for Ash. But was I really that upset? The guys never said anything. Whatever. I’m happy now and that should be the one thing that matters.
Ally stirred so I rubbed her back to help her go back to sleep. She ended up waking up and smiling. She giggled a bit.
“Good morning beautiful.” I whispered. She blushed and fixed my hair.
“Good morning prince messy hair. Why are we whispering?” She giggled. God, I love that giggle.
“The boys are up and I don’t want them to know we’re up.” I kissed her forehead.
“Ohh.” She said.
“Did you know that I love your giggle. It’s really cute.” She blushed a crimson red.
“I hate it. Did you know I’m starting to enjoy waking up next to you and seeing your hair. It’s the second thing that makes me smile when I wake up.”
“Oh yeah. What’s the first?”
“My shark. No I’m just kidding. It’s you silly.”
“you’re something special aren’t you?”
“yes. But I’m your something special.”
“Never forget that.” I kissed her and messed up her hair.
“Why would I? I have you and the boys treat me like their sister. I’m spoiled.”
“Yeah, that’s what they do best. But I definitely spoil you more. I’ll buy you anything you want.”
“You’re too much.”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
“Not to kill the moment but what do plan on doing after high school?”
“Maybe take an online course for graphic design or fashion industry. Start a business out of it.”
“Well if you lean towards fashion, Ashley can definitely help you on that.” She nods and buries her head in my chest. My phone starts vibrating so I see whose calling. It’s Andy.
“Hello.”
“Jake do you know where my wallet is? I’m at Seven Eleven but I don’t have my wallet.”
“No Andy I don’t know. Did you check your hand or your inside jacket pocket?” I hear shifting in the background.
“It was in my jacket. Thanks buddy.”
“No problem. Do you mind buying me water and a powerade?”
“Sure thing.”
“Thanks man.” Andy replies and then hangs up. I look at Ally, she’s on her phone texting her mom. I decide to text Ally for fun.

“Alright.” Ally left and I turned on my Xbox. I started playing COD with one of my friends. I had my headset on so I could talk with him as we played.
