Church Is In Session **COMPLETED**

Days Of Sleep

*Andy POV*

I had told Daven to watch Erick and make sure that he didn't escape, but what I was really worried for was Catherine coming back and finishing the job she started. I didn't know if she was capable of that but better safe than sorry right? I needed to go check on Esther and see if she was ready to go stay with Catherine.

When I meet them I couldn't help but notice how beautiful Esther was. Her golden brown eyes shown. Her smile was so sweet, at least there was still something good in this world of shit. I reached Jinxx's doctor room and saw Esther laying there with only a bra and a bandage around her torso. I couldn't help but stop and examine her. Okay sure it was kind of creepy, but she was gorgeous, even when she looked drained of all energy.

"Hey Jinxx, is she ready to go home?" I asked him,

"Yeah, let me just get a few things so that Catherine can change her wound when needed." He rummaged threw a drawer by the bed and I went over to Esther. "Alright, can you pick her up. Gently!" He cautioned.

After Jinxx had put her shirt on I slowly put my arm under her back and sat her up making sure she was awake first. "No, I want to walk." She grumbled.

I helped her up the bed but she stumbled into my arms once her feet held her weight. "Whoa, careful." I laughed helping her get steady.

She held onto my arm and I placed one arm around her waist helping her stay up right. Once we had left the hallway she wrapped one arm around my waist for more support. We walked like that until we reached the stair case, stumbling a few times but I never let her fall. She was so light.

Jinxx was behind us the whole time gasping every time she tripped or almost fell. "Calm down Jinxxy, I got her." I laughed, she tried to laugh too but the pain was too much.

The stairs were the hardest part, I ended up just picking her up bridle style and carried her the rest of the way.She buried her head into my chest and gripped a fistful of my shirt in her hand. I let Jinxx open the door to her new house.

Memories of the past residents flooded threw my head. A family of four, a mother, father, and twin boys. The boys saw me as there best friend. The reason they died is what we were fighting for.

Catherine came rushing out of her room to see Esther. "How is she? How bad is her cut? How long will she have to stay in bed?" Those were the only questions I heard.

I understood that her bet friend just got stabbed but man she was clingy. She tried to help me get Esther in her room and on her bed but I calmly asked her to just open the door and pull the sheet back so Esther can sleep in a "real" bed. I walked out into the living room and Jinxx stayed in with Catherine to show her how to clean the cut. I glanced into Catherine's room. Last night was so peaceful. Just laying there with her head on my shoulder.

I looked back to the front door hearing Jinxx come up behind me. "Alright, she should be set. You should check on them every once in a while though." He walked out the door.

I walked into Esther room to see Catherine holding Esther's hand. Esther had a smile on her face. They both looked so...drained. They must have been happy to finally be somewhere, well somewhat safe.

"So," I said breaking the silence. "I'll bring you food everyday and check on you."

I heard the door swing open and Zain pushed threw. "What happened?" He asked frantically.

"She got stabbed but she's fine. Don't stress her out too much." I said knowing that my little brother could get really over excited sometimes.

He was on the other side of the bed and Esther had greeted him with a week, "hi."

"When did you meet them?" I asked him.

"Yesterday, a little before this happened. We had diner together." He said walking out of the room pulling on my arm to follow him.

I shut the door behind me. "They need sleep. You can see her tomorrow kay?" I said.

"Sure, but is this gonna happen again?" He asked searching my eyes for an answer.

"No, Erick is secure and won't hurt her again."

"That's not what I meant Andy. I mean is anyone else gonna do this to them?" He paused, "some people here can be...pretty extreme."

Well that was an understatement. "I won't let it happen again." I assured him attempting to assure myself at the same time.

"Good, hey you hungry? We can go get some lunch?" He asked.

I hadn't spent any real time with him other than when we were at home sleeping. After our father died I had taken on all of his responsibilities. "Eh, I don't know, I have a lot of work to do." I said.

"Aw come on!" He begged.

"Fine, 20 mins?" I gave in.

"Yeah! Come on, Cho has some good stuff this week." He pulled on my arm leading me toward the court yard.

Cho and I never agreed with each other. I did have to admit although, that he did have good food, the way he got was...unorthodox.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After about a week Esther was given the okay from Jinxx to leave the house and walk around outside. When that was announced Zain was the first one to welcome her back to the world of the living. During That week of bringing them food and checking on them I felt a stronger bond grow between Esther and me, although it could've just been me. Sure Catherine was pretty too but I felt I had more of a chance with Esther. Catherine seemed like one of those girls that was all work no play...and I liked to play.

"Hey welcome back!" I said with a smile as I saw Esther wondering around with Catherine.

"Hi," she smiled back. "Glad to be back."

I hugged her loosely, "still hurt?"

"Not as bad as when I got stabbed." She laughed.

"So any fun plans for the day?" I smirked.

"Actually," Catherine started. "I was wondering when I was going to be able to start on my duties?" Wow she was all work no play.

"Well I was going to let you stay with Esther until both of you can start working." I could see she didn't like that sound of that.

"I think that'll be fine." Esther smiled, obviously not not wanting to work yet.

"It's settled then, I'll get back to you on the jobs when she's all healed." I looked in Esther's eyes.

"See you later Andy." Esther winked.

"See ya." I waved behind me as I walked to the auditorium. Erick still hasn't left that room since the day after Esther was stabbed. I had no idea what to do with him...
