I've read this one a while ago. Sorry I took so long to rate it and leave a comment. This is just SO good and reading it made me SO pleased. I was raised by Anne Rice, so there's a special place in my heart for good vampire stories. <3

Thanks! These vamps are definitely not in it for the love, that's for sure. There's a third chapter I haven't uploaded yet (it's all from my tumblr) but I'll try to do it tonight. I know vampires are basically run into the ground right now, but I figured why not, I'll do my own twist on it.
Not everything has to be about love. And your words are really perfect --- gore hungry, lust-filled animals is exactly what they are! When I first wrote it I was actually worried it was a little too dark honestly.
Ooo, this is a wonderfully written story. I groaned internally when I saw it was about vampires but decided to give it a try. Its not what I was expecting at all! First of all, the vampires themselves do not have a clique backstory, and second of all, it doesn't get all lovey dovey, they do it purely for the feeling. The concept of the Handprint Killers is really cool as well, sort of reminds me of the Sleep Over Bandits (great movie btw). I LOVE how the blood was so deeply described, you really painted them into gore-hungry and lust-filled animals. Its perfectly wrong and gross, I love it! You're a great writer.
