Wow...sorry for the waaaay late response, sugar. This site just got beyond boring for me and I almost deleted the account, but ultimately decided to just stop logging in for a while.

I'm glad ya liked this story. Believe me, I actually had to stop and take cry breaks, if ya will, while writing those two chapters. LOL! It's not often I express my emotions while writing, or even rereading an old work, but this one...it almost killed me. The inspiration behind it was no better, sadly.

Honestly, though, I haven't really been very active in writing at all. Life circumstances have pretty much left my creativity in its grave for the moment, aside from role playing with my best friend...and most Days, it's hard to come up with ideas for that. Additionally, I've moved on from BVB - they all pretty much dropped off the face of the Earth, aside from Andy, and I couldn't seem to come up with anymore killer ideas involving this band as main characters.

Feel free to send me a PM if ya wanna check other a couple other works I'm not posting here, mostly 'cuz they're not BVB-related. I'm not just gonna throw it out there in a comment so I'm not flooded with insanity. I will warn ya, though, it may be a while before I respond again - depends on when I log in again.

I know I'm super late. But I just read this in literally two days and I love it! Accept for bawling like a huge baby in the last two chapters. I've read some of your other stuff and just couldn't bring myself to start this book because I knew Ash died. But I'm so glad I finally finished it! You're amazing. Please don't ever stop writing!

You don't have to thank me, sugar. You're not the first, and doubtless will ever be the last, to tell me that my stories make 'em wanna keep pushing on, that they give 'em the happily-ever-afters they just can't seem to find in reality. Truth be told...stories like this are really the only way I can find a happily-ever-after myself... Too bad this one had to end in a tragedy...

Much grass, sugar. I'm glad ya liked the story, and I wanted it to be just as heartbreaking as my original inspiration for it, which literally left me crying just as much as writing the last chapter and epilogue did.

Yeah, that's what I meant by not recommending The Heroin Diaries for anyone under 17... I guess you could say I'm throwing a rating of NC-17 on it, considering that I've read it at least 8 times, maybe more, since I turned 16...

Never said anything about being squeamish, sugar. To quote something I remember reading in that book, when one is so far into drug-induced psychosis that they claim to be seeing "little men with helmets and guns in the trees surrounding his house", you know it's bad. It's actually amazing that, when combined with my own natural psychosis from living with nuts all the time, I haven't gone clinically insane... Just one of the wonders of the universe, I suppose... *ponders*

So long as you can stomach the drug-induced rantings of a madman, I'd say read it. It's an awesome book with lessons one normally wouldn't find hidden within. Course, I wouldn't advise someone 17 or younger to read it unless they've got the maturity of someone 5-10+ years their senior, like I have.

Granted, there's some things I know about a few songs (Wild Side and Kickstart My Heart) that a lot of people prolly don't know, but that's what I get for reading Nikki's first book, The Heroin Diaries, cover-to-cover many times over. *shrugs*

I've never actually heard any other Mötley songs other than 'shout at the devil' 'girls girls girls' and 'sex'.... dr feelgood sounds like a pretty good album actually *thoughtful face*

One of my favorite songs by them is "Unholy"... Yeah, I think I'm gonna be sticking with some "Dr. Feelgood" for a while... *grumbles as she disappears into the Fantasy Land that inspires her stories*

i'd never really been much of a KISS fan aside from their songs 'rock & roll all nite' and 'i was made for loving you' but i have to agree with you there, definitely team Nikki
