Writing Critic/ Tips for FanFic, page 2

I've just gotta add something, this will probably piss people off no end, but i find reading some stories really cringe worthy, I'm sorry but I seriously doubt any of the guys would fall for a 14/15 year old with them being the ages they are now, I've found that that puts me right off the story, a 16 year old with Andy (circa set the would on fire or earlier that is) just about pushes the limit for me, because in the UK 16 is the legal age, but one of the older guys, I doubt that it'd ever happen, I've seen alot of stories where this is happening lately. Sorry but this is just a personal opinion of mine, I know in one of mine Ashley is with an 18 year old but any younger just seems too much like pedophilia. Or is this just me?

I agree 100% with you on the age thing. I mean there is fantasy and then there is something called statutory rape. I know it's all fiction and it's all in good fun, but I don't want to read about some 14 year old dating Jinxx or Jake-who are closer to 30 than they are 20 at this point. *shrugs* then again I'm all about things being as close to real as possible.

lol exactly, lol, they don't seem the type, but Ashley I see as being similar to a friend of mine, I've based my Ashleys on him, where at one point if a girl is over 18, shes bangable lol, kinda like Ben and Danny in their second Bryan Stars interview lol.

Agree completely! If I want the girl to be 16,17 like you said, I always make sure to say that Andy, Jake, CC, Jinxx, or Ashley, (who ever I'm using) is around the same age. Otherwise, I usually make the girl between early and late twenties, depending on the guy I'm using and which year I'm using (ex. stwof era, wstw era, wad era)

I would love it if you reviewed my story when and if you have the time. I know it's missing a lot of aspects, but this is my first time writing something of this style. I've written many plays as my drama class requires it, but have never written a fanfic before. I would really appreciate it if you reviewed because you obviously know what you're talking about.

I've been writing fan fiction for about 2 years now (well two years starting in January) haha so yeah I definitely know what I'm talking about when it comes to fan fiction. I've grown so much since my very first fic. And I would love to read/critique your fic :)

Yeah I've been getting that dumb ass error lately too haha but of course I don't mind critiquing it at all! I already went through the first three chapters and I'll keep going chapter by chapter as I continue reading through it as I gain more time with school ending for me next week.
