Bens POV;
its been 3 hours since amber ran away and im really worried. me and andy are out looking for her and have been for 2 and a half hours. "i think i may know where she is" andy said "where?" "right,i'll go look at the skatepark and you go look at the public park. they're her two favorite places in Cincinnati." "okay,i'll call you if i've found her" i said "okay,i'll call you if i do aswell. if neither of us find her then we meet back here" "okay" i said running in the direction of the park.
"amber! amber please! amber!" i yelled whilst running into the park.
Amber POV;
3 hours since i ran away from ben and i have consumed all the alcohol i had brought and now i am crying by the river where i used to spend everyday.
the tears fell rapidly,not stopping,showing no mercy. then i heard bens voice calling my name.
i held my breath to stop the cries being heard but the tears kept caressing my cheeks.
Bens POV;
i ran,looking arounf every corner,up every tree until i came to a river. i could smell alcohol,alot of it. i followed the stench and it led me to amber. she was sobbing uncontrollably,shaking erratically. i gasped and scooped her into my arms."shh,shh,its okay. im here. you're safe" i cooed. i sat down and brought amber close to my chest,wrapping a protective arm around her. i looked arounf the spot she was sitting and there was bottles everywhere.she'd been drinking,heavily. i pulled out my phone and called andy.
"have you found her?"
"yes i have,she was by the river. she's been drinking,loads. she's sobbing uncontrollably and shaking.hurry up and get your ass here. she needs you"
"okay,be there in 5"
"bye"
"bye
i hung up and put my phone in my pocket.i pulled amber closer to my chest and began stroking her hair."its going to be okay,andy will be here in a minute.shhh" i cooed,kissing her head lightly.then the crying stopped and amber went limp...
