hospitals,worries,caring and nana nancy
Bens pov;
i looked down,ambers eyes were closed.her breathing slow,her body limp. "no!no! amber! no,please,amber!wake up!" i yelled,shaking ambers body gently."please!please!" i cried,tears flooding my face. just then andy came running over.i loked up at him"she's unconcious! quick! we gotta get her to the hospital!" i cried. andy started crying and scooped amber from my arms and began running. i followed closely behind,crying,panicking. what if she died? what if she doesnt make it? what if she's seriously ill? oh my god.
after 5 minutes of running as fast as we could me and andy arrived at the hospital.
"please!help me! my sister is unconscious! please! i dont want her to die!" andy cried. then a bunch of doctors surrounded andy,taking amber and placing her on a gurney and wheeling her down the hall,yelling words and terms. it confused me. is she going to make it?
i slid down the wall and placed my head in my hands. i began sobbing.
Andys POV;
i stood there,frozen as they took amber away from me. i might lose her. after spending all my life trying to protect her,i've failed her.i've failed my parents,i've failed the most important thing,ever. i fell to my knees and began crying my eyes out,shaking uncontrollably. my breathing quickened. soon ben was infront of me,trying to calm me down. "breathe,andy,please. for amber. breathe" i nodded and tried to calm myself. eventually,i managed to regain my normal breathing patterns. i looked at ben who was crying. he cared about amber,alot.
a short nurse made her way over to me and knelt by my side,placing her hand on my back.
"i can't promise she'll be okay but i can promise we'll try our very best to help her." she said kindly. i smiled weakly and nodded "thank you" "thats okay sweetie. oh,can you fill out this form on your sister please" i nodded and took the form from her outstretched hand. "thank you and we'll try our very best,i promise. she is so young and beautiful,she has too much ahead of her for us to give up". a smiled spread to my lips "i know,thank you" "no problem sweetheart,if you need me,i'll be behind the front desk. see you later,andy" "how do you know my name?" i asked,confused.a smile played at the nurses lips "damn,i know its been years but not that long. its me,nancy,i used to babysit you and amber". i gasped "nana nacy" i smiled "yup,now fill out that form and bring to me when you're finished.oh,and i promise you things will be okay" i nodded "thank you nancy,can you phone mum and dad,please" nancy nodded and got up "of course" and she wandered back to her desk. ben was sat,staring blankly at the wall. i nuged him and he came back to earth"you okay?" i asked. he nodded"just worrying amber" "me too,can you help me fill this out. you know the part about what happened please?" ben nodded and we set to filling out the form.
