How It Was Gonna Work.
*Skylar's POV*
I woke up in my bed, tucked into Derek's side. A smile crept on my face. For all Brent knew, Derek was like a brother to me. & Even in Derek's eyes he was a brother to me, but i was starting to develop some pretty strong feelings for him that shouldn't be there. My phone started to ring when i was thinking about that.
'WE LEARN FROM ALL YOUR HATE!'
I answered on the first ring because i didn't want to wake Derek. It was Ashley.
Me ; Hello, my dear brother.
Him ; Hello my dear sister. Are you up?
Me ; I am now!
Him ; Well, put on some shoes & lets go! I'm outside in the car.
Me ; What are we doing?
Him ; Going for breakfast.
Me ; Mmmm, okay.
*Back to Skylar's POV*
I got out of my bed, quiet enough for Derek to not be disturbed, & slipped on some flip flops. When i walked downstairs everyone was still sleeping, which was a good thing. We had been working our asses off to figure this thing out with Brent. I grabbed my keys off the key hook & walked out of the door, locking it behind me. I sent Andy a quick text.
Me ; Ash picked me up. We're heading out to breakfast. Don't worry, i have my kepys & the doors locked. Love you.
Once it was sent i started walking to Ash's car.
'Morning.. Trainwreck.'
Ashley said, trying to control his laughter.
'Well when you have Derek fucking Jones cuddling the shit out of you & you still look perfect in the morning, come fucking talk to me.'
I said, laughing & blushing. Ash saw me blushing. As i was lighting up a cigarette.
'Oooooh, it looks like someone is getting a crush on Derek.'
Ash said. I just punched him & left it at that. About 25 minutes later, we arrived at the nearest Denny's. When we walked in, we recieved a bunch of weird looks. But the wierdest thing was, Brent sitting with a girl. Presumably Kelly Mininciple. Me & Ash ducked into a booth & ordered our drinks. We sat as far away from them as possible, but you bet my ass i shot Jake a text explaining what's happening.
Me ; Dude! You'll never guess! Me & Ash are at Denny's & Guess who's here ?! Brent & that Kelly chick!
He didn't answer. I'm guessing he's still sleeping, so i wasn't gonna push it. But i still couldn't belive it. After we ate, we rushed back home to get on with getting these letters picked so i could break up with Brent. Ash & I walked into the house to everyone awake & the letters were out & picked.
