~3 weeks later~

VALEREY’S POV


I got out of the hospital 2 weeks ago. Andy has stayed by me these past three weeks and I couldn’t be any more grateful about that, but I want, no, I need Jeremy.

I drift off to sleep again.

~I find myself at the venue where I first met the guys, Jinxx standing by the bus.

“Valerey” He says and I walk over to him “Valerey, I’m coming back to you, so please don’t give up while I’m away” The scene fades and I wake up~

I run to the living room to find Andy watching the Today show.

“Andy!”

“What?” He says as he looks over the couch at me

“I had a dream, only I think it was real, Jinxx said he’s coming back” I say, but he looks at me with sad eyes

“Andy, it’s true, he came to me in my dream, it was him, I know it was, I wasn’t just dreaming”

“Valerey, I know this is hard, but it was just a dream. Your mind is just trying to cheer you up”

“Why don’t you believe me?” I half yell at him, then run up to mine and Jinxx’s room.

“I won’t give up Jinxx, I know it was you” I say silently to myself then start to cry

After a few minutes, there’s a knock on the door. “Hey, it’s Andy, can I come in?”

“Fine” I say, still slightly angry, as I get up to unlock the door.

“How ‘bout we go over to the hospital and check on Jinxx”

I look down “Okay” I say and we head outside to Andy’s car

“You still don’t believe me, do you?” I ask after a few minutes of silence in the car

He sighs “Valerey, I want to, I just can’t, I don’t believe in that kind of stuff”

“Right...” I say and we drift into silence again

We don’t talk the entire drive to the hospital. Once we get there, Andy tells the receptionist who we’re there to see and a nurse walks us back to his room. When we get there, there’s a doctor on there with him.

“I’m glad you two are here, he was awake for a few seconds just a moment ago.” The doctor says as we walk in and I instantly brighten up

“Told you” I whisper to Andy and he just rolls his eyes at me

Just then Jinxx’s eyes slowly open again and I fly to his side, crying.

“Jinxx, I’m so glad you’re alive!” I cry

He caresses my cheek “Valerey, thank you so much for not giving up” He says quietly

“Well, you kinda have to thank Andy, since Dylen went back home to see his family, he’s been with me. And if he wasn’t than I probably would’ve given up”

Andy had moved to sit next to me “It’s true”, he says “And she did try” He says the last part slowly

“Well, I’ll leave you three alone for a few minutes while I get things set up to do the exam”

The doctor says and then leaves

“Oh yea, Val had an offer for an interview that would be tomorrow and she doesn’t want to do it because she doesn’t want to leave your side” Andy says as soon as the doctor shuts the door

“Well that’s a stupid reason” Jinxx says with a laugh

“No it’s not, you’re mean” I say

“Take it, Valerey, it’ll be great for you and your band” Jinxx says

“That’s what I’ve been trying to tell her”

“You have to do it, Val”

“Fine” I say

After a few minutes of talking, the doctor comes back in and asks me and Andy to leave the room while he does an exam. After that he comes out and says that Jinxx can leave tomorrow and that visiting hours are over for today.

“I’ll see you tomorrow, Jinxx, and you’re coming to the interview with me” I say and kiss him

“Yea, see ya Jinxx” Andy says and we walk back to his car

Once I’m in the car I call the company that wants an interview with me; Hot Topic; and tell them that I’ll do it. After we get back to Jinxx’s place Andy lies down on the couch and I go to my room and drift off to sleep, excited about tomorrow.
