You're by Yourself with Me Tonight
We get back home and I head for my room when Jinxx grabs me by the arm.
“We need to talk” He says quietly.
“Can’t it wait until tomorrow? I’m really tired.” I say
“No… Valerey, I really need to know what’s going on”
“Fine” I sigh
We go over to the couch and sit down.
“Valerey, I’m really worried.” He says looking at the ground.
I just sit their playing with my ring. He looks up and over to me.
“Please talk to me, I want to help.”
“There’s nothing you can do, so why bother?” I ask.
“Because I might be able to do something.”
“Fine, you can try, but nothing’s gonna work.”
“Then please tell me what’s wrong”
“Everything’s wrong; My parents hate me, my grandmother died, my granddad took his anger out on me by hurting me, my only friend died because she was trying to protect my worthless self.” I tell him, starting to cry.
“You’re not worthless.”
“Can I please just go to bed?”
“Fine, but I’m staying with you.” He says. I’m kinda happy that I’ll have someone with me tonight.
We walk to the bedroom and lay down. He puts his arms around me and pulls me close. I snuggle into his chest and he kisses my head.
“I love you more than anything” he whispers to me.
I fall asleep almost instantly.
I have the same dream yet again. Jinxx wakes me up halfway through it this time. I wake up crying. Jinxx sings Saviour to me quietly until I calm down.
“Did you have that dream again?” he says, looking worried. I nod.
He hugs me tightly and I start crying again.
“I love you, Jinxx, thanks for being here” I mumble through my tears.
“How about we go do something, it’s 10 a.m. anyway”
I nod. We get in his car and we drive to the mall. We walk around for probably 3 hours looking in all the stores, even Abercrombie and American Eagle. We went into the prissy stores to make fun of the people in there. It all made me forget about everything bad.
“I’ve never seen you this happy” Jinxx says as we walk out of the mall.
“I’ve never had this much fun” I reply, smiling.
He kisses me and we walk to his car. As soon as we sit down I turn to him and kiss him, it instantly turns into a mini make-out. God I love this boy.
