I looked over to Jess's bunk seeing cc sitting on the edge, I guess trying to wake her up.

"Fine have it your way.." I heard him say as he chuckling and shut the curtain walking out to where we were. He leaned against the wall looking at Ashley.

"Ash, Jess doesn't wanna wake up, mind helping out?" he asked him. I turned to Ashley seeing him grin ear to ear.

"Sure thing man, watch closely Mel, I'm gonna show you how we wake each other up in this family" he said smiling at me as I heard the other guys laughing. I watched as he got up and go to the kitchen where he grabbed a massive bowl container from the lower cabinet putting it in the sink turning the cold water on. While that was filling I saw him go to the freezer and grab a couple hand fulls of ice putting it into the water. I looked at him raising an eyebrow.

"Umm, are you sure you should do that? She might kill you" he nodded and chuckled with the guys.

"It's the only way she will wake up, trust me, I know what I'm doing" he said winking at me.

'God dammit, why must you do that to me Ashley?' I thought to myself as I started blushing and looked away.

He started walking towards the bunks with a now full bowl of ice water. I got up and followed him to Jess's bunk where he ripped the curtain open with one hand. He immediately dumped the whole container of ice and cold water onto her. She instantly jumped up and hit her head off the bunk.

"Fuck" she cursed. I couldn't help but let a giggle slip and Ashley laughed standing next to me.

She turned around and saw the both of us standing near her bunk. I saw her glare at me. 'Oh shit' I thought to myself.

"You're dead" she growled causing me to back up and point at Ashley.

"I had no part in this" I protested putting my hands up in defense.

"Purdy, you're a dead man" she said to him causing him to laugh.

"Oh yeah? What are you gonna do?"

I saw her smirk and jumped out of the bunk just as he was running to the front. She followed and jumped on his back making him fall. I saw her sit on his back while I walked in laughing. Matt, James, Cam, Sean and cc were on the couches smirking at them. I went over and sat on the couch where Cam and Sean were.

"Well good morning sunshine" Matt said to her making her glare at him.

"Get off!!" Ashley said struggling underneath Jess.

"No"

"Jess.." Cc said and she sighed standing up.

"You're no fun" she wined at him standing up off of Ashley. He laughed.

I giggles at Ashley as he jumped up and fixed his hair glaring at her. She just glared back at him.

"Are they always like this..?" I asked and cc laughed nodding.

"Yes, ever since the second day Jess stayed with us, they've always enjoyed messing with each other" he said.

"It's all for fun" Ashley said patting Jess's head and walking over sitting on the couch next to me. I saw Jess walk over and stand near cc still soaking wet.

"Yeah, the concussions I've gotten from Mr. Purdy dropping me on my head is all for fun" she said sarcastically and making us all laugh.

"Oh come on, I haven't dropped you on your head in forever" he said to her and she stuck her tongue out at him.

"So how was it growing up with these guys Jess? Because you were still young when the band started right?" I asked and she looked at me, then to cc and Ashley.

"Wait, you don't know?" Ashley asked looking over at me and I shook my head slowly.

"Know what?" I asked looking back at Jess.

"Jess why don't you go get dressed and then fill her in" cc said to her and she nodded getting up and going back to the bunks. After she grabbed a fresh pair of clothes I saw her go to the bathroom.

"So, she hasn't told you anything?" Ashley asked causing me to turn back to him. I looked at him and shook my head.

"No, the day she brought me in, she just had me tell her all about my problems and what had gone on in my life. And then you ended up knocking on the door, so that was the last time me and her talked, just the two of us." I said to him shrugging.

I saw Jess walk back out and I turned to look at her. She went and took a seat between cc and Matt. James was next to Matt and Cam, Sean, were on the same couch as me and Ashley.

"Okay, so, time to fill you in." she said to me.

"Tell her it all." Ashley said and she nodded.

"So, Jake's my dads kid, with a different mother, and my parents didn't want me and my sister to meet him, but when I was 17 they had to go away for a few months and agreed to let him take care of me. Only I still didn't know about him until 1 hour before he came. I was packing my bags and he walked in, I was a fan of bvb so it was pretty surprising might I add." I smiled as she chuckled

"So they took me first to a house they had in my town, and we stayed there for 2 weeks. We got close and they found about my self harming and instantly got protective, too protective" she said and I looked over at Ashley who was rolling his eyes. 'Is that why he doesn't want me to do it anymore?' I asked myself.

"Yeah.. sure.." he said to her.

"Then they took me with them for a few months which is when I got close to Sammi and when me and cc started dating" she said and looked at cc smiling at him. He smiled back and kissed her on her head. I couldn't help but smile and feel so happy for them, they just warmed my heart.

"Then after awhile my parents decided they were a bad influence and took me away bringing me back with them. Which was hell, because they weren't really siked with who I was, and I had a rough time at school, but I had to stay because I was still 17. They also cut off all communication between us leaving me alone in my stupid town with no one except John. Do you know who John was?" she asked me and I nodded slowly still taking it everything in.

"Your best friend, the one you dedicate Second and Sebring for" I said and she nodded.

"Okay so about 2 months later on my 18th birthday, my parents went away again but said I could be alone because I was 18 now. Little did I know, cc and jinxx made a plan with John behind my back, and John literally dragged me back home from school. When I walked in cc and jinxx were waiting in my kitchen with my bags packed."

"Aww!" I said smiling causing everyone to laugh.

"Sorry" I said blushing. 'Way to embarrass yourself Melissa.'

"No it's all good, okay so they took me back and I lived with jake, I was still in junior year because I was held back so he made me promise to finish it. So I went to school the next day and got beat up as normal. 3 days after I moved with jake is when John died, I got home from being beat up again and got the call that changed me forever. At the funeral my parents were there but never spoke to me, and it's been that way ever since."

She sighed and I could see the pain in her eyes. I saw cc rub her shoulder and she gave him a weak smile. 'Poor Jess, her parents treated her terribly, she got bullied too and lost her best friend.' I thought frowning.

"So after being a wreck for a week and not talking, jake took me to the studio with him and when I was sitting there jinxx and me had a heart to heart because I had been self harming, then after we were done he had me go get guitar strings."

"While getting them some fucking idiot bumped into me knocking me over" she said then started laughing.

"Hey! You backed up too fast!" Matt wined and the others laughed while I looked at them.

"The idiot was Matt, and we started talking, he recognized me from when I sang with of mice and men, and I recognized him as the singer from burn bright. He instantly asked me to join and of course I said yes" she said and the guys smiled at her.

"So those months after that didn't really have many important events so-" I slightly jumped as I heard Ashley yell cutting her off.

"Yes they did!!" He shouted and I saw her stare at him.

"The day you fucking kicked ass!" Cc said causing Jess to chuckle.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Basically I was getting beat up, 3 against 1 and I fought back, they never bothered me after that no big deal" she said shrugging.

"It was fucking insane!" Cc exclaimed

"Andy still has the video, I'll have him show you" Ashley said to me as I turned to him and smiled nodding. I turned back to Jess so she could finish her story.

"Okay so after that burn bright and bvb both played warped tour, which was amazing but our label wanted us to move to San Diego, I was really stressed about the decision, but the last date of warped tour made my mind up for me when I walked in on Asking Alexandria's merch girl kissing cc" she said and I saw cc tense up. I gasped when she said that.

"Wha-" she cut me off.

"Wait,"

"Me being me, I freaked out and made our manager drive us home, I took all my stuff from jakes house and left. We went to San Diego and I cut off communication with them thinking cc found someone better. There I met my ex DJ, and we dated again while burn bright wrote our second album this one being the first with me, and went on tour, DJ got very, violent and rough with me but I stayed, and didn't let the others know" she said pointing to Cam, Matt, James and Sean.

"You should have but.." Matt trailed off.

"Anyway, a year after I left I was in the store getting DJ cigarettes when I literally bumped into Sammi, Ella and Juliet, they tried to make me see the guys but I refused and ran home to DJ being late, I got there and he hit me then left, while I was watching tv someone knocked and I opened it revealing the girls. They tried telling me cc didn't cheat but I didn't believe it so Sammi pinned me to the wall and screamed at me explaining the whole situation. I made them leave because DJ was coming back and when he did he threw a rampage and started hitting me and threw me into our coffee table shattering it and lifted me up and went to hit me when the door opened and cc ran in" she said and I saw cc looking at her partly smiling. I sat there staring with my mouth open. 'I can't believe I whined and complained to her about Alex when she's had it worse than me. I can't believe she was put through that, she's such a sweetheart and an amazing person.' I thought to myself feeling badly and frowning again.

"DJ hit me and cc tackled him. Shortly jake came in and joined in while jinxx and Andy came to me just as I blacked out. I actually don't know where Ashley was" she said laughing a little.

"I was on DJ until you blacked out. Then I was the one who called the ambulance and led them up" Ashley cut in and she nodded.

"Wait, so how did you and cc get back together though?" I asked her and she chuckled .

"Patience, she's getting to the beautiful moment" James teased causing Jess to laugh.

"I woke up in the hospital and me and cc were alone, that's when I realized I was still in love. So we ended up deciding to move back to LA, so after 5 months we finally did, this February, and all of burn bright now live in La, so one night, the same night Ashley had a dream about you, I had a dream about cc"

I smiled and looked over at Ashley who was now blushing. 'Awww he's so adorable' I thought to myself before I looked back over to Jess and saw cc smile.

"The next day my dream came true when me and cc went out to the beach and kissed. That night me and cc got back together, then well, we're here" she said.

"So, yeah that's pretty much my life story, " she said and I noticed her eyes started to water. I stared still shocked from everything she said.

"Wow.. You. You went through so much" I stumbled upon my words and she chuckled slightly.

"Yeah, I have but hey we all do" she said to me. She had a good point though, everyone has those times in their lives. But then I thought about how she mentioned she had a sister and didn't say anything about her throughout her whole story.

"Wait. What happens to your sister, is she still with your parents?" I asked and saw Jess froze. I noticed everyone look at her.

"Uh. No. She um she died when I was 15.." I heard her mumble and saw a few tears fall from her eyes. 'Oh no, I fucked up! Please don't hate me Jess'

She looked up at me seeing my shocked face.

"Oh my god I didn't know.." I said feeling terrible and she shook her head wiping her tears giving a smile.

"No it's okay,"

I saw her stand up as another tear fell and saw the others starring at her worriedly.

"I'm going to go get ready for the show" she said and walked hurriedly back to the bunks. I thought I felt my heart break, god I'm so fucking stupid!

"Is she okay? Did I say something wrong?" I asked worriedly hoping I didn't fuck things up between us.

"No. She just, doesn't really like thinking of her past, I'll go talk to her" cc said and got up walking to the sliding door that separated us from the bunks.

I slapped my hands to my face frowning and shaking my head.

"I'm such an idiot.." I mumbled into my hands. I looked up with tear threatening eyes as I felt a gentle had rub my back. It was Ashley trying to calm me and keep me from crying. He shook his head and gave me a small smile.

"No you're not Mel, you didn't know, don't worry about it, okay? She just really misses her is all."

"She doesn't hate me then?" I asked him worriedly. He smiled and shook his head again.

"No Melly, she doesn't, I promise. Cheer up, okay?" He said before giving me a reassuring tight hug. I hugged him back and nodded.

He pulled away and wiped away the small tear that just spilled over and smiled at me again. I smiled and nodded.

"Thank you Ashes" I said giving him another quick hug.

I heard the door slide open and looked over to see cc and Jess stepping out into the lounge where we all were.

"Time to get ready ash" cc said and Ashley groaned getting up smiling at me causing me to blush. He walked over to give Jess a hug before walking off the bus. Cc kissed her and smiled walking off after him. Matt and James got up to go get ready while Sean and cam sat down next to me watching the TV.

I saw Jess sitting down opposite of us underneath the tv with a monster in her hands. I still couldn't help but feel like shit or making her cry.

"I'm really sorry" I said causing her to look up.

"Why? Don't be, just memories get to me sometimes but as cc said it's the bad ones that make the good ones" she said and I smiled thinking of how much he loves her and cares for her.

"You guys are so cute" I said to her and saw her smile.

"Uh-huh, not as cute as you and purdy" she said and I blushed. 'God dammit'

"We aren't a thing.." I mumbled. I highly doubt he even likes a total train wreck like me. Why me when he could have any girl he wants?

"Yeah not yet, but you want to be. And I'm sure so does he, I could tell by the way you cuddled last night" she teased causing my cheeks to burn, I probably looked like a fucking tomato right about now. I looked to see Sean and Cam smirked.

"Shut up" I mumbled.

"Whatever, but it'll happen, now we need to go to sound check and get ready we go on at 7 and It's."

She paused to check her phone .

"5:30"

She stood up and I did the same.

"Matt! James! Lets go!" she called to the guys in the back.

"You can hang back stage, you won't be alone, Ashley and the others will be there when we're on then we'll be here when they're on so it works" she said to me and I nodded just as James and Matt finally came out.

"Took you long enough" she said to them.

"Says the girl who was asleep till 6 yesterday" Matt said and she laughed slapping his head

"Fuck off" she said walking off the bus with all of us behind her.

Once we got inside we started walking towards the side of the stage where the guys were waiting. I saw Ashley with his back towards us and smirked thinking about how he was ticklish. I decided to sneak up behind him and grab him by both his sides causing him to yelp out loud and turn to me blushing. I couldn't help but giggle at how cute he was. The guys started laughing and saw Andy smirk.

"Gotcha Ashy" I said smiling at him.

"God dammit Mel, was that really necessary?" asked putting his hand on his heart as if he was about to have a heart attack. I smirked and nodded.

"That's for tickling me awake and pouring ice water on Jessy" I said to him just as Jess and the rest of the guys caught up. I heard Jess snicker and put her arm around my shoulder.

"Yeah, purdy, maybe next time you'll think twice before messing with the both of us in one morning" she said to him and winking at me. He glared and stuck his tongue out at me. I stuck my tongue out at him mockingly like a 5 year old causing everyone to laugh.

"Okay, show's starting, see you in a bit" she said to me before walking onto the stage with the rest of burn bright following getting into their positions.

I watched as they performed, god they were amazing! I was smiling so much I actually felt my cheeks starting to hurt. My thoughts were interrupted when I felt my bangs being tugged on.

"Hey!" I whined looking over to see Ashley smirking. I pouted my lower lip and gave him puppy dog eyes.

"That hurt" I said in a child like way. He chuckled and rolled his eyes.

"Aww I'm sowwy" he said back childishly hugging me.

I saw the guys look over at us, jake and cc were chuckling while andy and jinxx raised an eyebrow and smirked at us. I could feel my cheeks starting to grow warm again.

"You're forgiven, now get away before you give me your cooties" I teased pushing him away making him laugh.

"Ouch Mel, hurt my feelings why don't you" he playfully said putting his hand over his heart again. I laughed and rolled my eyes turning back to the show.

"By the way, nice wardrobe Melissa, zombie lover?" I turned to see it was Jake and looked down at my zombie shirt and jeans nodding.

"Thanks, I like zombies" I mumbled and shrugged. I heard a chuckled come from Ashley.

"Yeah and apparently they like you too" I furrowed my brows in confusion and turned to him seeing he was looking at the zombie hands designed on the butt of my jeans. 'Oh god dammit, I forgot..' I thought to myself as I blushed.

"Oh my god Ash, stop looking!" I said blushing even more. I saw him smirk at me and poke my side.

"Yeah, Ash, stop looking" Jinxx chimed in. I looked at him and smiled.

"How old are you anyways, Melissa?" he asked me.

"17" I flinched as I saw him smack ashley on the back of the head.

"See, you definitely need to stop looking Ashley, she's not even of age yet. Calm yourself boy!" I giggled and he turned to me.

"If he tries anything on you without your permission and especially before you turn 18, let me know" he said to me seriously. 'Wow, he really is protective' I thought before nodding.

"Don't worry, so far he's been a good boy" I said looking at Ashley and pinching his cheek causing him to smile. Before I knew it Jess and the guys were done with their performance.

"Thank you goodnight!" she called to the crowd and walked of the stage smiling.

Cc went over and gave her a hug.

Andy took him away and bear hugged her. I smiled at how close they all were.

"Amazing as always!!" He shouted and she smiled turning to me.

"How'd you like it?" she asked me as I stood there smiling widely.

"Amazing, honestly fucking amazing" I said and she smiled.

"Thanks" she said.

"You watching our set?" Jinxx asked and I saw her expression change, she looked, sick.

"Maybe, but right now I need to go change and possibly puke" she said. 'Uh oh'

"You okay?" Jake asked her raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah probably just caught something, I'll be back" she said to him.

Cc kissed her on the head before she took off running out to the bus.

'Shit, I hope she's okay..' I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

"Okay, well we're on now. You okay with still staying here with them?" Andy asked me pointing to Sean, Matt, Cam and James.

"You mean with these freaks?" I asked teasingly with wide eyes and laughed nodding.

"Yeah, I'll be fine" I said smiling as he nodded and walked on stage with the others except for Ashley. He turned to me and scratched the back of his neck.

"Sorry about that" he said looking down blushing. I rolled my eyes and hugged him tightly.

"It's okay Ashy, don't worry about it" I felt his arms wrap around me tightly and heard one of the guys clear their throat. I pulled away and saw Matt smirking. Ashley looked down at me and smiled.

"Right, I gotta go perform, be back in a bit" he said and started to run towards the stage but turned back running to me. My eyes almost popped out of my head, holy fuck. Ashley came back to give me a long sweet kiss on the cheek.

"Don't go anywhere okay?" he asked and I nodded putting my hand on my cheek after he ran on stage. I possibly looked like a blue haired lobster at this point, I was blushing beyond belief. I heard a whistle and turned to the guys seeing them grinning and smirking.

"Fuck off" I muttered turning back to the stage. Throughout the performance Ashley would look over at me and smile. I'd smile back and shyly wave, I can honestly say I was blushing throughout their entire set. After a while I had noticed Jess still hadn't come back. Now I'm really starting to worry. My thoughts were interrupted when I felt a sweaty Ashley hug me.

"Gee, thanks Ash, you really shouldn't have!" I said sarcastically wiping the sweat off my cheek. He chuckled and pinched my cheek.

"Awww anytime Mellyjelly" I started blushing badly again and smacked his hand away sticking my tongue out at him. He laughed and hugged me again, this time I let him. I pulled the sleeve of my jacket up to my fingers and put it between my face and ashley's chest. I saw cc looking at us smiling, well I guess he really knows now.

"Hey Melissa, have you seen Jess?" cc asked me. I frowned and shook my head.

"She's been gone since you guys went on for your set" I said to him.

"It's alright, I'll go check on her to see if she's okay" he said before running outside.

'Please let her be okay..' I thought to myself as I leaned against Ashley's chest.

"Alright well we gotta go to the meet and greet. What are you gonna do till then?" Andy asked looking at me.

"Umm I-"

"She can join us" Ashley cut me off causing andy to raise a brow.

"What?" We all said in unison. I looked up at him and he smiled at me.

"Yeah, I'll pull up an extra chair for her and she can sit next to me. Besides, I don't want her staying in here or out in the bus by herself" he said moving my bangs out of my eyes. I looked back at the guys.

"It's okay, I don't have to" I said shaking my head.

"No, it's okay, you can join us and I agree with Purdy about you not being by yourself" Jinxx said smiling and I smiled back nodding.

"Alright well then let's go, I'm sure Jess and cc will be joining us soon" Andy said walking ahead with everyone else following.

"Come on Mel" Ashley said letting go of me and taking my hand leading us to where the meet and greet was. Jess and cc caught up with us, she still looked sick to me but gave me a smile and smirked when she saw Ashley holding my hand. The fans went crazy when they saw all the guys. I felt out of place but Ashley gave me a reassuring smile that everything would be fine. I smiled and blushed when he got an extra chair and never let go of my hand even when we sat down. I laid my head against Ashley's shoulder after awhile, he still never let go of my hand and would look over at me every few minutes. I got a few scowls from girl fans but a lot of them awed and even took a picture of us. A few people asked if we were dating, Ashley shook his head and looked at me smiling saying the same to each one.

"Not yet anyways" it made me blush every time. 'Ashley Purdy wants to Date me? ME?! No, there's no way..Is there?' I thought to myself coming back to reality when I felt Ashley kissing my temple and saw a flash. A fan had took a picture of him doing that.

"You guys are too fucking cute! By the way Ashley, she's really pretty" she whispered to him. He nodded and said, "I know, I keep telling her that so she won't forget" he smiled at me. I blushed but then realized she was the last one in line. As she went through the rest of the guys Ashley turned to me.

"Ready to go?" he asked me and I nodded. I looked over at Jess and saw she still didn't look too good. She was pale and started to sweat but saw her cover her mouth and run out again. I noticed cc starting to get up to go after her but I stopped him.

"Cc, it's okay, I'll go check on her" he hesitated for a minute but nodded. I went over to Ashley letting him know I'd be back and was going to check on Jess. He nodded and hugged me before I went outside and towards the bus. I opened the door slowly and went inside.

"Jess?" I called out into the bus. I saw her coming out from the bathroom with tears on her face.

"Oh Jessy. Are you okay?" I asked going up to her wiping her face.

"I-I don't know" she stuttered. I took her hand and led her to the couch sitting us down.

"Jess, you know you can talk to me. I want to be there for you like you are for me" she sighed and nodded.

"Okay, just please don't tell anyone, not even Ashley" I nodded and rubbed her on her shoulder.

"Well, I don't know what's wrong with me. Lately I've been getting sick and I've been sleeping a lot and I've even noticed that I've been gaining weight.." she trailed off and my eyes widened. 'Holy shit could it be? Could she be..?' I thought to myself shaking my head.

"Jess, have you had your-"

"No, I missed it" she said worriedly. 'Shit'

"Mel, I think I might be pr-pregnant.." she stuttered trailing off.

'HO-LY SHIT'
